Hi,

I’ve ordered Vodafone Fibre, after few weeks they cancelled my order, mentioned 3rd party permission,
no more details.

I’ve ordered Sky now, but I have a feeling same thing will happen.

They both use openreach afaik, and Virgin isn’t available here.

I don’t really understand it, there is literally a white
box with a cable with openreach label on it.

I’m terrified of being left with crappy limited 4G mobile connection.

It’s in a neighbourhood in Weston super mare, I doubt my neighbours have no broadband…

There was some bad element living in this house before us, probably not paying bills, but I doubt it would be the cause?

any tips?

Hi,

Moved to a new house with garden.
The ground/soil is really boggy, which I suppose isn’t ideal for a lot of plants.

I have a lot of soil with good drainage, and a lot of stuff like pumice, red lava rock, zeolite etc.

Is this a silly idea to make larger holes and remove the old ground and add some soil which is more like bonsai soil?

We just moved to a new house and if I let her go at night she travels far away.

So I want her to do it in a cat litter box.

When I put her on Danish Moler she runs away instantly.

Are there any hardy plants that won’t take years to grow and will be low maintenance and won’t attract many bugs and snails?

Also can’t be toxic to cats.

Hi,

New rental house.

There is a lot of woodlice because of massive amount of dead wood, leaves etc.

The problem is that it’s all mixed with gravel, so I’m not sure if I’m supposed to pick it all up manually (too much work), or throw all the deadwood with gravel away and buy new gravel?

There is a large tree the goes over the house and part of the garden, so I think about contacting council to cut it a bit at least. It seems to be outside the property so not sure if I need to ask the landlord.

As for gravel, what kind of gravel is cheap and looks relatively good?

One of them is mounted on the wall, I need to take it off for the company that will transport it.

But there is a lot of conflicting information.

After taking off do I lay it down display facing table?
Or do I do the opposite?

I don’t have any box this size, and not sure what to put underneath the TV.

I have C1 from beginning mounted on wall, but I’m moving houses so I will need to put it on a stand.

I have the stand but it has no screws, so I’m not sure now if I used those screws to mount it to the wall or lost them.

If possible if someone can snap a photo would be appreciated.

The version I have can't even install GOG Galaxy to run.

I'm not sure if I'm blind but I don't see an option to upgrade? Do I have to pay full price again? (£60)

£60 seems step especially that I want it only for 1 game.

So if I have to pay the full price, I wonder how often to do they do discounts? I remember that they did heavy discounts during Black Friday.

I’m pretty sure I have seen people typing /model and seeing all available models. I’m talking about Claude paid models.

I have to type models from memory.
If I type /model, I try to hit tab or use arrows but it just does not show them.

How do i do that?
I’m on Mac with zsh + oh my zsh installed.

And another question is about combining for example opus and local LLM, is it possible?

When I launch “ollama launch claude” or whatever was the command, it launches claude code in terminal with Qwen 3.6.

But if I try to do /model opus, it doesn’t work.
I have to do /exit and then “claude”.

Are people somehow using them together?
Perhaps to save some tokens etc?
