The one on the left is mine- a couple years ago, done in Norway. I’d like to add to it with a similar design or go a different route with something on the right. I’d love someone who is danish and familiar with traditional patterns like these. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I got this tattoo a couple of years ago in Norway (I don't have a current photo- and in this photo it isn't complete, but you get the idea). I'd like to add to it with a similar (but different) design done on an upcoming trip to Copenhagen. (And get this one touched up at the same time). Can anyone here recommend an artist in CPH that would be a good option for something like this. If they are Danish that would be a plus.
So, this is my hair- fine and there’s not a lot of it. It’s about shoulder length now. I’d love to lean into the waves but not sure how to make it work. No styling tool really works (my hair won’t hold it). This is air dried out of the shower with only some milk\\\_shake Incredible Milk sprayed in. Is there anything lightweight I can use to prevent the frizzy/fly away bits? I’ve tried some creams but since I don’t wash my hair everyday they tend to get greasy and honestly haven’t really worked. I definitely prefer air drying to low drying or styling tools. (Although if I wear it straight I do flat iron it).
Hey all! Just wanted to say that if anyone wants to or has written a letter in support of Muhammed, I’ll be happy to print it out for you if you don’t have a printer. I can drop it off as well (although I can’t get it notarized obviously). I’ll be heading up to the restaurant a little before 3. Shoot me a message and I’ll get you my email.
Currently on SAVE. I have $123,137 outstanding. I ran the calculator on studentaid.gov here's the summary...
I'm looking at IBR or Graduated Repayment (if there's forgiveness).
Are there things with either plan that I should be aware/weary of? I'm terrified there is fine print that I am missing and I don't want to screw myself.
I had an appointment with my GYN’s NP tomorrow to talk about how menopause is kicking my ass. I’ve waited about 2 months for this appointment (the wait for my Dr. was even longer). The office called me today to tell me discussing menopause symptoms is not a NP appointment, I need to meet with the Dr. (even though the scheduler scheduled me with the NP). Now I have to wait till July 30 for my appointment. I fully expect to gain 30 more pounds by then, not be able to walk on account of knee pain, and have the heart rate of a hummingbird from living in current flight mode while raging at EVERYTHING.
I was fully crying by the time I got off the phone with them this morning. I’m not fine. Everything is not fine.
I logged onto FASFA this morning to apply for a new payment plan since I'm on SAVE. I went through their step by step things and it gave me three options: IBR- $50 monthly payment, ICR- $1429 monthly payment and Standard- $863 monthly payment. I have about $120,000 remaining (taken out pre-2014). I'm married, we file separately. Why is IBR so low? Payments would end in 2036 and there would be a 'tax bomb'. The other two I'd be paying another 20 years (which will hopefully be WELL into retirement).
Inspired by the my post yesterday about yesterday's fire, I thought I would share some information about the site. The site is actually a National Historic Landmark, meaning it is significant on a national level, as opposed to a National Register listed property which can have local, state or federal importance. There are far fewer NHL properties, increasing their importance. Here is a link to the nomination for those of you interested.
As an architectural historian- partly inspired by this building - this breaks my heart.
I have a blue ‘C’ wire hooked up but still getting this alert. Not sure what to do. Hopefully I can fix without getting an electrician.
I’ve had a really hard time tracing my Irish side (or maybe Scottish) back to Ireland. I’ve tried on and off for years but common names make it pretty hard. I think it’s time for a professional or someone who knows more than I do! So I wanted to check to see if there was anyone here willing to help out- I’d pay obviously!
ETA- I’m in the US. The have some information about the US ancestors but can’t figure out who came over, when, or from where.
Left it there but kind of regretting it now.
