Hey all! My boss gifted me a Jackson Zen 2.0 kayak with an Adventure Technology AT2 Flexi paddle, and NRS vest. I grew up kayaking, but lazy river style with lots of beer and fishing involved. The kayak is a Large, with an XL cockpit. I'm leaning towards an NRS skirt, but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, I'm completely new to white water kayaking.

I live in Reno, and will primarily be hitting spots along the Truckee River. Thanks!!!

Made it more than two weeks. I didnt have the biggest habit, only 125mg a day, but I was rocking that for a year, and since I refused to increase my dosage I ended up in perpetual withdrawl for months. Finally sleeping again, still feel a little sluggish but that'll go away im sure. Actually have gone for three runs this week, first time in years.

I quit IV H, Dills, Morph, and whatever else I could get my hands on back in 2013, pissed at myself for wasting a year on this garbage drug, I don't even feel good for quitting, just that I wasted my time. At least when I quit IVing it felt like an accomplishment.

Ive been rocking a 100mg a day habit for a year or so now. Would taper down every once in a while to get the effect back, but since I dont want to increase the dose I end up basically fighting withdrawl all day.

I decided to get off 7 Sunday night, took the last 3 quarters I had fairly close together to get one last buzz and good night's sleep before the shit starts. As soon as I went to bed, however, withdrawl kicked in hard. I didnt sleep at all Sunday, took 50mg Monday and slept maybe 2 hours, then again yesterday did 50mg, pretty much all at once for one last rip. Got maybe 2 hours of sleep again last night, but hoping since I Tapered a couple days while in withdrawl that I'm close to being able to sleep again.

Anyone else experience this, where just making the decision to quit mentally seemed to Kickstart the withdrawl process? Luckily with the short half life of 7, im hoping to be good by next Monday. Taken 6 grams of kratom since quitting, but trying to stay light on that so I dont just switch one for the other

I quit H back in 2013, I was an IV user for years. Pretty pissed at myself for being back in the situation, but this is easier than dope or subs for sure. If I could sleep Id be fine.
