Celebrating my late mom's birthday and she sent me a little love. 💛💛

My sweet mommy has been gone for 13 years, but I still like to celebrate her birthday, even if just a little. So, I decided to take myself out to lunch and look what was in my toast! 💚

Pennies from heaven is what she would probably tell me.

Happy Birthday Mama

Hard freeze at higher elevations tonight. Cover your babies!

I put paper bags over my most sensitive and plastic over the raised beds, but we shall see. Fingers Crossed!

A mini reset for Mother's Day

I had major surgery 5 weeks ago, and we all fell a little behind. Please be kind.

Right as I finished the table, my husband came home with roses and vacuumed for me, so that was awesome. 🩷

I saw the Optometrist today and had a pressure test done. My current levels are above 25 in both eyes. I only had my shunt installed about 5 weeks ago, so I don't have another appointment with my neurosurgeon until like October.

Is high pressure after surgery normal?

Had to switch to a fish tank for the seedlings, inside the greenhouse! Out of control. I'm not losing anymore. RIP eggplant, corn, radish, pumpkin, bell peppers, and green beans.

F38, OA in my spine and neck. Ex professional skier. No pain meds, recent surgery to install a shunt in my brain to assist with csf flow due to blockages. Still active daily.

How do you manage your OA? Where's it getting at you most?

2 packs Prime Shrimp, 1 box pasta, 2 garlic cloves, 1/2 shallot, half stick butter(or margarine), 1 zucchini and seasoning (Italian, lemon pepper, garlic powder)

Cook the pasta, sautée vegetables in butter, remove noodles from water and put on vegetables, add about a half cup of pasta water. Then place bags in water, turn every 2 minutes for 8 minutes, cut open, mix with noodles and veg and enjoy!
