I'm looking to get a brand new Jeep. I grew up on a farm and drove my dad's old Ford manuals in my teens and then got corp job in the big city and took subways for like 15 years.

I bought an old beat up Honda now that I moved to the suburbs to relearn how to drive stick. Really want to get a brand new Jeep but I've heard the clutches on the JL models is terrible.

Have they improved this and if not, is an aftermarket swap basically a must do?

I'm 30 this year. Lived a fairly boring life so far. I was raised conservative. After spending my 20s getting an education and finding a good professional job. I want to be adventurous. I feel like I've wasted my 20s.

If you have any suggestions on what adventurous things I could do I would love to accumulate a list. Risky, not risky etc. I want to live and feel free.

I've heard some people have fitment issues or they just pop off in the winter? Don't wanna spend money if the overall consensus is shit lol

Currently in a B9 S4. Love the car but a bit too grown up. Miss the manual which I thought I would get used to without. I'm also not enthusiastic about the 3.0T with all the potential problems. Was strongly considering a GTI but I saw a modded GLI recently and I haven't looked back.

Now that I'm seriously considering the GLI (yet to drive one) how does it compare to an A4 in size and quality? I don't think they differ much?

Also in terms of fun, any comparison b/w the GTI and GLI?

But a buddy of mine suggested opting for the VB WRX and modding it, including a mechanical LSD (still trying to find the exact part that would fit and if I should do this)

I reckon a lightly used WRX + some decent mods including tires, suspension, tune etc. (I usually do the work myself) would save me a lot compared to the GRC. If I do go down this path, definitely picking up the body coloured fenders to replace the plastics lol.

How do you think the WRX would hold up against the GRC long term and performance wise?

Golf r is great but it's too serious. Long term reliability is questionable and there are no buttons. It looks good but the ITS blow it out of the water IMO.

The GRC is butt ugly but in a cool way. Idk why I like it, but I do. It's got its own charisma and that engine sounds so good. Interior is not as good as ITS.

ITS is the best of both cars. A very lightly used GRC where I live is low 40s. ITS lightly used is about low 50s. Both will handle Toronto snow. Both should be reliabile long term.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to spend the extra money for the ITS at this point lol.

I'm going to be test driving and picking one. I love everything about the above (golf is a bit synthetic). I can't decide at all.

I prefer manual. Apparently you can't get the full potential out of the car with a manual. I want to get my money's worth out of the car performance wise, but do prefer manual before they're all phased out.

I've got a few friends, they're extroverts and have other friends as well but after hanging out with them I'm done and just want to go home and reset until next time.

I'm switching from traditional weight training and going to be focusing on dips and pull ups as I've been assigned to a slightly remote location for work.

I'm trying to figure out what sets/reps to do and at what rep/set should I add more weight to my routine?

My goal is to build muscle but also functional strength.

Sidenote: I've heard rumours that high rep, frequent bodyweight squats can actually help build/maintain leg muscles while improving endurance. How true is this?

I'm 30 (make). I have about 25 lbs to lose. I used to be athletic, ran, workouts etc. I can't figure out if I need to fast or just eat clean?

If I fast, I can't run or workout to grow sufficiently without getting tired. If I'm fed (clean) I'm not cutting down as effectively but I can workout/run harder.

It's driving me mad and it feels impossible.

Currently, I'm trying to run every other day. The days I'm not running I try to workout hard to build muscle. I'm not looking for abs, just to drop the 25lbs of stubborn fat.

Looking to get a fun commuter car as my daily (I have a weekend car). Only sensible one seems Mk 7/ 7.5 manual.

I'm willing to go up to 60,000 miles/100,000 kms. What should I look out for? Should I try to buy something with the least mileage?

I've heard the EA888s are pretty stout engines, I know the water pump goes as with a lot of German cars.
