[WTS] Casio Edifice

Selling my Casio Edifice, had it for about 19 months. Original MRP was around 10k.

Condition - works perfectly fine, keeps time accurately. There's a visible scratch on the strap and a small scratch on the corner of the glass, nothing that affects how it works, just cosmetic. Will attach clear photos so you can see exactly what you're getting, no surprises.

Selling because I'm a student and could use some extra funds right now.

Asking 3.5k

Based in kochi ,kerala if anyone wants to meet up and check it out in person, can also ship if needed.

Hit me up if interested, happy to answer any questions.

Looking for a long-term reading buddy 📚

Hey! I’m looking for someone to read with. I have ADHD and it’s really hard for me to build a consistent reading habit, so I’m hoping some accountability might help.

Just looking for casual daily check-ins, maybe share what we’re reading and how much we got through. I’m in IST (India).

If we want we can add some more habbits too like meditation, studying etc . i have been trying and failing non stop to build some good habbits.

Anyone interested? :)

21M | IST | Looking for a long-term reading/habit buddy

Hey! I’m looking for someone to build a consistent reading habit with. I have ADHD and it’s pretty hard for me to stick to habits and initiating tasks, so having someone to keep each other accountable would help a lot. Ideally looking for a long-term buddy we can also build other habits together like meditating, learning etc., if we have the same goals. Nothing too serious, just casual check-ins and supporting each other. Anyone interested? :)

How do you actually "vibe code" production-quality apps/websites?

Hey everyone, I’ve been vibe coding for about 5 to 6 months now mostly relying heavily on LLMs to spin up features, write scripts, and piece things together. I've managed to build a few projects this way, but honestly, I just don't feel confident in the code, and I'm never fully satisfied with the quality under the hood. I see other guys building incredibly cool stuff with vibe coding all the time, but I feel like I don't even come close to that level.

Right now, my workflow is basically "prompt, copy-paste, debug, repeat." It works fine for isolated features, but it starts falling apart when trying to build actual production-grade, scalable apps or websites. It feels like I'm only scratching the surface of what AI can do, and I want to move past the amateur MVP stage to start shipping robust, clean software.

For context on my setup: I'm currently dragging along with Grok 4.5 in Grok Build. I'm a broke college student, so I really can't afford premium paid tiers or heavy API usage right now. If anyone has suggestions for solid free coding models (or good ways to get decent free access/credits), I’d highly appreciate it.

For the experienced devs here who successfully use AI to ship production-quality code

What does your workflow look like?Do you break things down into hyper-specific micro-tasks, or are you using specific tools/extensions to map out the backend before prompting?

Would love to hear your top tips, frameworks, or any general advice you wish you knew when you started. Thanks!

ZenBook 14X OLED can't cold-start ZenScreen MB169CK over USB-C but sustains it fine once externally powered on. PD source negotiation bug?

Looking for anyone who's hit this or has insight into ASUS's USB-C PD implementation on this model. Setup: ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED, BIOS 307 , currently showing as latest/up to date per MyASUS). ASUS ZenScreen MB169CK portable monitor, single USB-C cable. The bug: Connecting the ZenScreen directly to the ZenBook via one USB-C cable from a cold state does nothing no startup logo, no response, monitor stays dead. But if I give the ZenScreen external power first, it boots and establishes the display connection normally. Once it's running, I can unplug the external power and it keeps working fine over the single USB-C connection to the ZenBook video and power both sustain without issue. What I've ruled out: Cable/monitor hardware same monitor + same cable cold-starts perfectly on a different laptop from fully powered off. OS/drivers reproduces identically inside BIOS/UEFI, before Windows loads. Insufficient laptop power supply tested with a 100W GaN charger powering the ZenBook through the other USB-C port; issue unchanged. Port-specific fault happens on both USB-C ports. Config drift did a 40-second EC/hard reset with everything disconnected, and loaded BIOS Optimized Defaults. Interesting note: right after loading defaults, it worked once. After the next reboot, the bug came back, and repeating the BIOS reset hasn't restored it since. My read on this: the laptop can clearly deliver enough sustained power and DP Alt Mode video once a session already exists so the video path and steady-state power delivery are both fine. The failure looks isolated to the initial PD source negotiation at cold boot: either the PD source controller isn't advertising a usable power contract early/reliably enough during boot, or there's an EC-level power budget calculation (possibly tied to battery state of charge, still testing this) that's too conservative right at startup for the monitor's own power-on threshold. Questions: Anyone else with a UM5401QA/QAB (or similar AMD ZenBook) seeing USB-C portable monitors fail to cold-start but work fine once "kick-started"? Has ASUS ever released EC or PD-controller-specific firmware for this line, separate from the main BIOS package? Their support site only lists BIOS, no standalone EC/PD firmware. Anyone gotten ASUS support to acknowledge or fix something like this, vs. just RMA/hardware defect territory? Workaround for now is just powering the monitor externally for a few seconds at the start of each session, then unplugging — works reliably, just annoying to carry the extra cable/brick for it.

looking for a long term accountability buddy/friend

Hey, final year engineering student here. I keep starting things habits, projects, whatever and falling off after a few days. Tired of that cycle and kinda hate myself for it , looking for someone in the same boat who actually wants to fix it together, long-term, not a 3-day burst of motivation.

The setup: daily check-ins, simple yes/no on whether we hit our targets. Goals don't have to match could be studies, fitness, a new habit, anything you're trying to build ( must be nice to discuss if any common goals ). And to keep us both honest, if either of us misses a day, we pay the other a small pre-fixed amount.(Well if things work otherwise we can skip it)

A bit about me into AI/ML, tech, casual gaming, geopolitics. Trying to build some new habits from scratch this time, properly.

Honestly Age, gender, branch, intrest etc doesn't matter if you've got the same starting/sticking problem and actually want to change it, that's enough. Also if your not serious and just want to try it out pls dont dm lets not waste each others time, not to be rude its just i have tried it 2/3 times and people just give up after 2-3 days so.......

Let's actually become the people we keep telling ourselves we'll become.

Need a used portable secondary display

Hi everyone,

I'm a college student and I'm looking for a used portable monitor to help with coursework, coding projects, and studying. Working with a single laptop screen has been slowing me down, especially when I need documentation, notes, and code open at the same time.

My budget is very limited at the moment, so I can only spend up to ₹3,000. I know that's not much, but I figured it was worth asking in case someone has an older portable monitor sitting unused.

If you have one available, or know someone who might, please send me a DM.

Need a used External portable display

A second screen would genuinely make studying, coding, assignments, and project work a lot easier. The problem is that I'm really tight on money at the moment, so I can't afford a new one (max i can afford is 3k to 4k lol ).

If anyone has a portable monitor they're looking to sell around that price, or even has one lying around collecting dust dm

I'm not concerned about the brand or model as long as it's working properly
