Anyone else want to be book buddies? Serious!!

I genuinely love the idea of reading. I have a stack of books I'm excited about, good intentions, and then… nothing. The focus slips, the days blur together, and somehow weeks go by without me opening a single page.

ADHD makes it really hard for me to read consistently not because I don't want to, but because starting and staying on track feels like climbing a wall some days. Deep down though, I really do want to build this habit. Books matter to me.

So I'm looking for an accountability buddy (or a small group) who gets it.

The rules would be simple:

  • We set gentle daily targets together nothing crazy
  • We check in with each other
  • Even reading for just one minute counts as a win. No judgment, no pressure.

If you're also sitting on a growing TBR pile and struggling to actually open it, DM me. Doesn't matter what genre you're into we're just here to show up for ourselves, one page (or paragraph) at a time.

Wanting to Read Books but Never Finishing Them Looking for a Serious Reading Buddy

I I really want to get into reading books. I’ve bought a few books already, got excited… and then never actually finished them

I’ve realized I do much better with accountability, so I’m looking for a serious reading buddy where we read daily and keep each other accountable.

Could be:

  • reading at the same time daily
  • sharing progress
  • short check-ins
  • bullying each other respectfully into reading

Even reading just one page counts. The main goal is consistency.

I’ve actually tried this before, so please DM only if you’re genuinely serious and willing to stay consistent. If you just want to “try it out for a day or two,” please stay away 😭 Let’s not waste each other’s time.

If you’re struggling with the same thing and genuinely want to build a reading habit together, DM me

Finally tried body doubling and it actually worked

been struggling to study for ages, total procrastination mode. tried body doubling on a video call with someone online last week and genuinely got so much done it was kind of embarrassing.

we just turned on the camera, said what we were working on, muted ourselves and that was it. something about having another person there just hits different.

anyway i'm 21, engineering student, if anyone wants to do regular sessions lmk. dm me or drop a comment. don't care what you're studying , just wanna get stuff done

Hey everyone, I'm a tech and geopolitics nerd love diving into stuff like AI breakthroughs, chip wars, US-China tensions, quantum computing drama, and how it all ties into global power shifts. I've been scrolling Instagram and LinkedIn, and carousel posts are everywhere blowing up. But I'm clueless on the ops side. If you're running a successful carousel page/account (especially in niche topics like mine), break it down for me: What's your full process?

How much time per post? Solo or team?

Growth hacks? Hashtags, collabs, ad spend?

Is it still worth it in 2026? can a new tech/geopolitics carousel page gain traction and monetize (affiliates, subs, etc.)?

Bonus: I've seen tons of folks "one-shotting" carousels with AI . Anyone doing full AI pipelines? Tools/workflows? Quality hold up, or does it feel soulless?

Would love real talk from folks crushing it , failures, all of it.
