2004 Toyota Tundra full cab with tow package. About to do a road trip towing my 3800lb travel trailer. Took it to our mechanic to do a bumper to bumper inspection and verify we were good to go. They said "send it!". So the fins on this are ok?

My thought is that a 'dry' black tank all the time might cause the "poop tower". Thoughts? My tanks are 25/25/25 gallons, fwiw.
EDIT: Thank you all for responding. I made this post to make sure that I wasn't doing things the wrong way (leaving it closed). My wife questioned me about it, and I explained that it should be common sense to let it fill up, then drain with our black water cleanout hose running. I thank you all for a SUBSTANTIAL amount of positive reinforcement. Now, about those $1.20 guages 😉👌
