Which bathing suit should I wear and which nail polish color should I use to match it?
Bathing suit #1 with the dusty rose-ish nail polish OR the pink nail polish
Bathing suit #2 with the coral-red nail polish OR the neon yellow
Bathing suit #3 with the press-on nails AND/OR the metallic silver nail polish
Please don’t judge my style based on these shirts, I promise I know real fashion. A lot of these shirts I’ve just had for a while and since I’ve grown a lot and found what I like and what interests me I’m happy to donate some of these old shirts because A) there is always someone in need and I want to help and B) it’s time for clothes that actually fit my aesthetic and represent me. I tried on all of my shirts, because I actually have more than the 57 that are shown, and some of them didn’t even make the cut to be here so those were my first to go and they now currently reside in the donation bag.
Which shirts don’t look as good or are not my color or are just plain boring that I should donate?
It’s way too hot to even just stand outside nonetheless train and condition for soccer. I’m mainly trying to condition my running since I’ve been unable to due so due to traveling and the insane heat. Yesterday my phone said it was 112 degrees to put it into perspective. There is some summer soccer conditioning starting the 2nd week of July that’s being held at the park so I really need to get some cardio in before for preparation.
Luckily to evade the heat for a little longer, I have a gym membership and they have a bunch of treadmills that I often use. Are there any workouts that I can do on the treadmill that will help condition me for soccer?
When you search it up it says they are considered one of the friendliest and most docile reptiles (as well as also mentioning that each leopard gecko is different and some can be more shy or skittish than others). The thing is my leopard gecko, Chalupa, must fall under the category of being more shy and skittish.
She’s about 6 years and a month old and she hasn’t been one for handling and holding for really any of her life. My mom got her for her classroom as the class pet and even with all the touching, petting, and handling (all of it gentle because my mom watched Chalupa like a hawk so no kid got too rough) she was not a fan of it when I’d get to see her and hold her.
Chalupa only stayed in the classroom for about a year but I took her in soon after because she got osteoporosis and it was easier for me to take care of her, give her medicine, and give her a stress free environment than it was for my mom. Since I was able to see her and hold her practically 24/7, I came to realize that she’d rather sleep and bask under on her nice rock. She had gotten into the habit of doing what I call an “alligator death roll” whenever I tried to hold her and rather than continuing to hold her and stress her out (because I was worried about her tail dropping off) I stopped holding her altogether.
Has anyone else had this experience? Are leopard geckos actually as friendly and holdable and docile as the internet says? And most importantly is it okay that I don’t hold her?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m like 90% sure this is a crested gecko. What I’m really stumped about is its color. Is it a Lily White? Or because it has some light brown/tan, would it be something else?
I’m genuinely curious which one is the preferred or “better” one or if both of them matter equally. I can imagine that it depends on your position as well as how long you are being put on for and how many people are on the team/waiting on the bench to be put on.
Last school year/soccer season(my 11th grade year) I I didn’t get played much at all and I knew I was only gonna be played for 5-10 minutes every few games so I guess I became more speed oriented and practiced and trained for speed rather than endurance, because I really didn’t need endurance if I was going to get subbed off in a few minutes.
The thing is this upcoming school year/soccer season (my 12th grade year) we had a coach change and the 13 seniors who were always getting played last year instead of the underclassmen on last years team graduated. I’m one of two seniors trying out and no one seems to be all that interested in playing/trying out. So theoretically with less players I would have the chance to play longer/the full game time.
So finally getting to the point, to prepare for the upcoming high school soccer season which officially starts in November is it better to train for speed or endurance? Or should I focus on both? Or does training for one naturally work on and improve the other even a little bit?
I don’t see many blogs anymore nor do I hear people talk about them. Have they gone out of fashion or are they just hidden behind all the people creating vlogs?
Don’t get me wrong I love both of them but I just see vlogs so much nowadays. I see young kids, teenagers, young adults who are in college or working, grown adults who have families or are single and do things like travel the world all making vlogs following themselves and their life. I’ve just seen so many types of people and types of vlogs that it genuinely made me wonder if blogs have gone extinct or if they are still really popular just not with the crowd of people I hang out with. And also would it be better to start a blog or a vlog as a young adult for fun?
I really like Cortis’ as they’re a bunch of really funny guys that create super good songs, awesome choreos, and have a style in clothes that I really like. I’ve been trying to find “my aesthetic/my style” when it comes to clothing bc I’m tired of wearing basic clothing so I’ve been researching and taking inspo from different ppl and their outfits.
I’ve seen a lot of guys make “dress like Cortis” or “how to dress like Cortis” videos but I’ve only seen like one or two girls do it so there isn’t a lot to work off of there. I even looked on Pinterest and normally I can trust Pinterest to do a good job but it came up short showing me the same copy-paste outfits with little to no variation.
What would you say Cortis’ style is? Like 2000’s skater boy? Gen Z grunge? And follow up question, how would I as a female dress like that?

This is my first car and it was gifted to me as an early birthday present! All the paperwork is done, now I can decorate it and make it mine. I want to give it a really fun but kinda odd personality, kinda like me lol. I don’t want anything basic like a car cup coaster or an air freshener or those silly stickers that say things like“hot girls hit curbs”… like they’re good to start with, but I want stuff that’s in the NEXT LEVEL. The goal is to have people look into my car and be like “Wow… this is one unique car. It’s most definitely Lily’s!”
Are there any quirky/cute/fun things that I can add in my car?
Edit: Also forgot to mention this but it’s a 2021 Lexus RX and I am focusing more on the interior of the car.
I have a wholeeeeee spiral notebook full of in-depth explanations and ideas of quirks that I made back when I was in middle school. I moved thanksgiving of last year and I know I packed it but I’m not 100% sure if I still have it now because I might have accidentally thrown it away when I settled into my new room.
So basically I’ll be on the lookout out for it starting in a few weeks (I gotta beach trip to attend) and I’ll provide updates if need be. I’ve been collecting posters for a while waiting for when I had a space of my own that I don’t have to share and that finally happened thanksgiving week of last year. I have a bunchhhhhh of posters that are still rolled up and covered in plastic or are in some other protective packaging and I’m so excited to bust them all out!
Would it be odd to put posters in picture frames though? I’m split between just hanging them up on my wall the normal way and putting them in a frame with a glass panel that will keep them safe and dust free. What should I do?
I’m going on a week long beach trip and I’m starting to pack for it and it got me thinking… are you the “pack one bathing suit so you have more room in your bag/suitcase and you’re tan will be perfect” type of person or are you the “pack multiple bathing suits for the different designs/options or because you like to have a back up bathing suit in case of emergency” type of person?
Follow up question, should I pack one bathing suit or multiple bathing suits lol?
Favorite Character/Comfort Character: Kirishima has been my Day One, he’s been my favorite since I first started watching MHA in the 8th grade. When I was in middle school (and even a bit through high school) I was a really insecure, self-doubting type of kid and it just seemed like Kirishima was one of those types of kids too. The thing that made him my comfort character was the fact that he grew up, became stronger, and work to make himself into the manliest man every single day. He showed me that life isn’t always about being fearless but about taking action despite being terrified!
Favorite 1-A Student: Shouji never had much of the spotlight until the later seasons but his presence was always there. I like so many things about him; his personality, his sense of style, his love for camo print, his hair, his quirk, his gentle-giant demeanor, etc. He was like my favorite“background” but then he got more screen time and his backstory was told and it hit a little close to home in a way and I just felt for him so much. So he definitely worked up the ranks to beat Kirishima in being my Favorite 1-A Student.
Favorite Pro Hero: He’s just too fashionable not to be my favorite! Also his tendency to organize and tidy things up (like how he constantly is fixing and smoothing down his hair) is so similar to how I keep things organized.
Favorite Minor Character: I’m not sure if she is technically a minor character but homegirl was only in 2 episodes(ish). Whatever she may be Star and Stripe was a character that represented the iconic and somewhat cliche “a hero saved me so now I’ll be a hero just like him” which is basically the same as Deku. To be honest I like her so much because of her going-down-fighting spirit and her whole look/vibe both in her hero suit and in her regular day fit. Also she’s so gym girl goals with those muscles of hers!
Favorite Major Antagonist/Favorite LOV Character: OH MY GOSH I ABSOLUTELY ADORE TWICEEEEEE! Like I know he’s a villain and he did some bad things but he’s just a poor guy with so much trauma, mental illness who wanted to do better but so many unfortunate things happened to him basically pushing him in one direction; the direction of a villain. And even with all the trauma he’s still a silly guy who jokes around and loves his friends. To be honest, I see him less as the adult he is and more of a really broken teenager who got dealt a really bad hand.
Favorite Minor Antagonist: First of all his quirk is absolutely insane in the cool way and, second of all, he is absolutely insane in the run as far and as fast as possible from him way. He’s like Bakugo, All For One, and Toga all in one; he’s got the aggression, he’s capability of making his build even larger, and he has an odd thing for blood. He’s just a cool villain that I would never, ever like to face and will just look at from afar.
Favorite Quirk: Tokoyami is such a sick character overall, he’s definitely in my top 5 and was also competing with Kirishima against Shouji for Favorite 1-A Student. It might be a quirk that others think is overhyped but the pure versatility and strength of Dark Shadow is too good to not hype. And, you’ll always have a friend who’s literally got your back 24/7 365!
Underrated Quirk: Honenuki is one of my favorite Class 1-B students and even though his quirk, Softening, is often overlooked I find it super cool. Honenuki can soften things and SWIM through it, I don’t know but that sounds quite similar to Mirio’s quirk, and I f I’m being very honest I think Honenuki’s quirk is a lot more versatile and wayyyyyyy more underrated than it should be.
Favorite Movie Character: Being absolutely honest, I’ve never seen any MHA movie, but I’ve seen enough clips on the internet to know that Katsuma is such a cutie and I just know he’ll be my favorite once I finally get around to seeing them.
Favorite Design: I think Dabi has gone through the most changes as a person and what he has worn out of all the characters ever. His design has remained #1 for me throughout MHA because of all the different and new ways we get to see him while still keeping his image strong and unforgettable. My absolute favorite design/outfit is the completely white outfit that made its debut in Episode 124 “Dabi’s Dance”.
Favorite Backstory: Just look at the guy, he’s a walking ball of trauma. Poor guy, you really understand how screwed his life is after you finish the final season. Shigaraki is on the same boat as Twice but not necessarily the same seat when it comes to their backstory; both were dealt a REALLY bad hand in life, the difference was the dealer and their age.
Most Overrated: In the wise words of the Grinch, “Hate, hate, hate. Hate, hate, hate. Double hate. LOATHE ENTIRELY”. I know he’s payed for what he’s done and he’s working to be better but the amount of hype I’m seeing for him doesn’t seem to because of that. Bro is overrated AND overhyped, a two-in-one.
Most Underrated: I think Principal Nezu deserves a HUGEEEEEEEE thank you for all he did throughout MHA. My best friend and I talk about how Principal Nezu does not get enough attention and both believe his character needs to be hyped up and appreciated a lot more.
Funniest Character: “I've got a peach for ya!”(or something along those lines). Need I say more?
Wish You had Screentime: I feel like I saw less of Snipe than I saw Hagakure! Like home girl is SEE THROUGH, INVISIBLE, A GLASS WINDOW and she still has more screentime because I see her gloves more than I see Snipe. Like his quirk is so cool, and his hero outfit is so cool, and he has such cool gear/equipment AND HE HAS A SOUTHERN ACCENT (well only in the English dub)!! He also works with the third years and we see a few of them here and there but don’t you think he’d have some more screentime whenever the Big Three are around? Those are the top students of the grade he has to watch over, I know the Big Three had pro hero’s they were getting taught by through Hero-Work Studies but at the end of the day Snipe is in charge of them so why doesn’t he have more screentime?!
Last but not least, Favorite Ship: Sooooooooo, it’s blank. I was hoping if I saved the Favorite Ship spot for last the I’d have more time to sort through and pick one. Truth is there are TOO MANY ships and I they were either my favorite at one point or are really cute and I like but not at all real. I was going to just settle with BakuDeku but settling just felt wrong. I couldn’t decide so I left it blank!
I have 6 piercings in total and all of them are on my ears; there are 2 lobe, 2 upper lobe, and 2 helix. I’ve had them ranging 2 to 6 years without any problems or issues up until recently. This past year I’ve noticed my ears have become extremely sensitive and every time I wear earrings my ears become red and itchy. I’m a clean freak and that applies to my earrings and ears so I clean them on a regular basis. I just think it’s time I start using hypoallergenic earrings because I’ve just used whatever and my entire family uses hypoallergenic earrings/jewelry anyway. So I was wondering, does anyone know of any really good companies that have hypoallergenic earrings for people with sensitive skin?
I’m looking at buying some colored contacts for cosplay, costumes, and simply for fun! What are some must have colored contacts for cosplay? Like are there any “basic” colors I could get that I could apply to multiple characters. I don’t have one cosplay I’m working on but actually multiple. Also, What are some cosplays that MUST have colored contacts? Like are there any characters where their eyes CARRY their whole character and it’s look funny if I didn’t have the proper colored contacts to fully capture them?
Also here is my natural/normal eye color of that helps determine anything. And, yes, I’m currently wearing prescription corrective contacts because. I’m -5.00 in both eyes.
I know that eye color/contact color really depends on the gyaru substyle but is there a specific color that could work for all? I know for a fact that I’m going to get an enlarging contact but I don’t know whether to get a fun colored one or a more natural colored one. I really like fun, bright, bold colors but if I went for Hime gyaru, for example, the extreme colors most likely would look out of place.
