Who do you find to be the most cringe character in Star Trek?

I know there's been a good amount of annoying characters. ie: Nelix, Quark, Wesley, etc. But for me, the worst one by far is Tilly. She often just kills any tension with her babbling and simping for Michael Burnham who is prettyannoying herself..

So what do you think? Who do you find to be the most cringey?

For those of you that believe in God... Do you ever wonder if you're demon possessed?

I know the science says that it's just a neurological thing but sometimes feel like I must be possessed because no one should have to live with this disease. Sometimes it's all consuming and can be really exhausting. I just can't help but wonder sometimes if I can just find someone to cast the demon out.

How long does it take for Monjouro to have a noticeable effect?

I started this a week ago and so far I haven't noticed much of an effect. Does it take a while to have a noticeable effect?

The struggle of going out to eat

I'm sometimes invited out to eat by friends and family. I used to really enjoy it but ever since I've been trying to get my blood sugar down, I've been dreading carbs. But pretty much anywhere you go, you go and order something it almost always comes with some kind of potato.

I kinda feel weird about asking for a special order to accommodate since I don't want to draw attention to it.

I never realized how much carbs I used to eat on average.

Because of my social anxiety it's often hard for me to tell people no.

So there's girl who lives in my apartment building and lately (because I've been nice to her).she always wants to hang out. I have social anxiety so it's not necessarily easy for me but I initially was fine with it. Problem is this girl is crazy. Every once in awhile she'll just pop by my apartment and this particularly stresses me out because I'm OCD and I'm not really used to having people over. And she'll just start going through my fridge asking if I can make her stuff. I don't want to be rude but I try to make excuses. She's persistent.

Thing is, I'd probably end up saying something because this really triggers my anxiety, but she's supposed to be moving in a week anyway. Not sure I can wait that long though. She was knocking on my door last night at 2 in the morning. I was awake watching my show but I wasn't about to answer.

I'm curious if anyone else struggles with this.

Anyone else having almost a fuzzy redish look showing up on faces?

One thing I noticed (I have a TCL R646), when I'm streaming content on my AppleTV, there's often this almost blotchyness with faces that tend to be really red. This doesn't occur on the regular TV so not sure why it would happen with superior AppleTV. The picture settings are the same across both.

Why does there seem to be more red sauration on faces with AppleTV? (TCLR646)

So with all the same picture settings, when I'm watching on my AppleTV there's often this blotchyness on faces with a lot of red. This doesn't occur in the normal TV. Not sure why it's showing up on my AppleTV which in general is better. Not sure how to get rid of this slight flaw.

HBO MAX not showing up in continue watching!

Is anyone else having this issue? For me, whenever I watch something on HBO MAX it doesn't show up on the continue watching section. It used but I'm not sure what happened.

Is testosterone good for low energy?

I'm 46 and my energy lately has been in the trash. I recently got my blood sugar down and I still feel bad. My labido is pretty much non existent at this point. I'm just feeling exhausted nonstop. I was thinking about what might have my energy levels down but I have no clue. I've been taking vitamin D and magnesium supplements but there's still something missing.

Can you really get brain surgery to treat your tourettes?

I just saw a video of some kid who (3 years ago) had brain surgery to treat his tourettes and I'm sitting here thinking "Why did no one tell me this was an option?" His was obviously more severe than mine but it still sucks just how much the tourettes interferes with everyday life. It can be so exhausting.

Anyways, here's the video:

Do you take any supplements that helps with your OCD?

Lately, my OCD has been more triggering than usual. I don't really like dealing with meds because they tend to have troubling side effects that make me feel worse.

I'm curious if there are any good supplements that help with OCD and what has your experience been?

It's all just so overwhelming!

What's crazy is that I don't really have a lot going on in my life but it all just feels so heavy. I don't have a job or a lot of friends. I can't drive. I have type 2 diabetes which has been hard to get in control of, but I'm working on it and it seems like I'm making progress. That being said, I don't really feel better. I can't seem to enjoy anything anymore. I used to love watching my TV shows and going to movies and playing video games. They were a distraction from some of life's challenges. But nowadays these things just fill me dread because it's hard for me to enjoy it and I feel hollow inside. It's got to the point where it's hard for me to get out of bed because I'd rather just lay there and either sleep or doom scroll.

Looking back on my life, all I feel is disappointment. Like, I've always been selfish and never really had much ambition. This has been a source of my anxiety for years but I was still able to function for the most part. As I've gotten older, it's gotten worse. I feel like I'm dying inside and I don't really want to die but I don't really want to live either.

Any success with the keto diet?

I've basically cut out all sugar and carbs and have been getting my blood sugar down. Last night when I checked it was down to 183. This information put me in a better mood but I just checked it and it was at 263! This made no sense given I've been trying to the keto approach. I just don't get it. It's like just when I think I'm making progress it all seems to disappear. It's just like you're climbing the hill and suddenly you're at the bottom of the hill.. And it hasn't been easy to change my diet.

I'm not sure if it's working

Last few days I've been working on getting my blood sugar down and today when I checked, it was at 195. I know that's still high but it's actually an improvement from where it's been so far. I have been feeling slightly better but still have a noticeable fatigue. When I came home, I felt a desire to lay down for a bit so I did. I was feeling relaxed for a bit but then I just started to feel waves of exhaustion and my heart racing. I ended up taking a nap but I don't really feel rested. I'm up now but I don't have any energy and I'm just wondering if my blood sugar is trending down, shouldn't I be improving?

I'm currently 46 and the way I feel now I don't see myself making it until I'm 50.

Fatigue and poor sleep quality

Recently, I've been trying to work on lowering my blood sugar. A big part of the reason for that is fatigue. Initially, I just thought I was depressed and that was why I lacked drive but I'm starting to realize that my diabetes is directly impacting my energy levels.

I've been spending more time in bed due to fatigue. And at night I tend to wake up continuously throughout the night to check the clock hoping desperately that I have a lot of time left.

Anyway, I'm wondering how normal this is for people combating high blood sugar and if it'll get better.

I did feel a little better yesterday after dropping my blood sugar from 246 to 208 throughout the day but each day presents a new challenge if I can even get out of bed and start my day. Obviously, I know I still have a long way to go. I do wonder if I can endure it though.

How good is Monjouro?

My doctor prescribed me Monjouro but apparently he messed up the prescription and over prescribed me with 10mg so the pharmacy has to contact him on Monday to make sure I get the correct dose. I'm curious how helpful it is though. I don't really think Metformin is doing much.

How hard is it to get my blood sugar down?

I tested my blood sugar and it was at 246. This was after barely eating today. All I had today was a handful of grapes before leaving a few hours ago. I picked up a new glucose meter. Then I managed to walk a mile to get home. If it's that high after barely eating and then exercising, I'm not very optimistic about the future.

How long does it usually take to approve a CGM?

I went to my doctor yesterday and asked if I could get a CGM and he prescribed a Dexcom G7 and I'm still waiting for my insurance to approve it. I have Medicaid btw. According to the pharmacy they reached out to my doctor but didn't get a response. My doctor's office says they haven't heard from them. Of course now it's the weekend and my doctor's office is closed. I'm kinda getting nervous that it won't get approved and I currently have no way of testing my blood sugar.

Stress levels are making it worse

Because of my anxiety, my stress levels are high which is known to cause blood sugar to spike. How do you know if your blood sugar is spiking due to what you're eating or if it's because of stress?
