What was your first CRT? Mine was a Trutech DW19TT that my dad gifted me for finishing elementary school a while back. I miss that thing.

Replacing the spark plugs and plug wires, sure needs new ones.

I have taken 3 out of 4 plugs out, ran out of time for the last one. In the photo the plug on the right is stubby and shorter than the others. I don't know if the last 4th plug is like this, but the 2 are normal and the 3rd is stubby. Why? Also, the orange plastic cap for the plug wire broke, so I need new ones. What are these two plugs for on a 1970 Beetle 1600? I can't find anywhere for them to go, they're around the front suspension.

Update on my Grandma's 1970 restoration

I had the car towed to my house so I could work on it. So far I've redone the cloth brake and fuel lines, cleaned the gas tank, connected all the hoses, wires, and lines, and put a new filler neck in for the tank. Next, I want to change the oil and transmission fluid, new spark plugs, plug wires, and ignition coil. All the tires and window seals are also dry rotted. The dash is coming off, all the interior knobs have their labels rubbed off, the center caps for the wheels are missing, and the driver's side mirror is broken. After that, assuming everything works, it's off for me to customize it. I want to swap out the radio for one with a tape player, give it a roof rack, some new wheels, a passenger side mirror, and some small power upgrades. Going to be a while, I am kinda broke. Wish me luck!

People who own cars, is there a song that reminds you of/represents your vehicle?

Mine is Mamaw's house by Thomas Rhett, reminds me of my grandmother's 1970 Beetle that she left me. I am currently restoring it after she passed this easter. RIP gramma

I sell clocks on eBay, every time someone buys one, I set the alarm for 2 AM

I specialize in selling vintage electronics on eBay, most of the time old clock radios. Anytime someone buys one, I set the alarm for 2 AM, package it up, and ship it. I make sure a backup battery is put in so that the alarm stays set. So far no bad reviews lol. (Don't buy any electronics from me)

Seller wants me to keep the tv but eBay says I need to ship it back for refund

I bought a 19" CRT that was damaged in shipping, and the seller insisted multiple times that I keep it for free he will refund me. eBay is now saying I have to ship it back to get the refunds, who do i listen to?

Which should I buy and turn into a mild rally build?

I am leaning towards the Arima because it is in the best condition and AWD but isn't very fast. The ETK is super fast but the least capable off road and RWD. The W-series is a 2.0 diesel, so I'd convert it to gas which should be very expensive but it is the most reliable and cheapest

Sold my restoration business and got a stockpile of cars today!

I got an ETK C-Series as a better daily driver, I plan to turn the ol Picnic into a track/weekend car build, the D series is for Winter and towing anything, the Claria and Autobello are two cars I took from my old business in Belasco before selling. I also discovered 2 abandoned trucks in a creek on my property, talked to the DMV and they're mine also! PS: I got all the money for these projects from my business, sold for a lot of money.

Is it a safe bet to buy this? Seller can't move it to plug it in

He says it's too big for him to move and test, description says he doesn't know if it works. 31 inch Panasonic for $50. I really want it but don't want to drive an hour, move this behemoth and find out it's broken

Frunk latch keeps locking help

I have a 1970 sedan beetle i am restoring. The frunk latch was stuck locked and the glove box handle didn't do anything. I managed to get it open and replaced the latch cable and It continued working. Today, I took out the gas tank for easy access and slammed the frunk a bit too hard. Now the handle won't unlock it, and I can't reach it through the spare tire access point. I took out the handle and pulled on the cord but it is snagged on something under the trunk. How do I open it and stop this from happening again?

Parts identification help

I ordered a new master cylinder from Jbugs.com and there aren't any other brake lines to connect to these two yellow plugs. I am worried that once my restoration is complete and I try to press the brakes, those 2 plug caps will shoot out under pressure. Are there any other lines I am missing or did I get the wrong part? What would be the correct one? I would prefer it be on Jbugs since they have been very helpful and aside from this all their parts have fit. It is on a 1970 sedan 1.6, drums all round
