[Discussion] I want to make TTRPG art, where do I start?

Freelance artist here looking to expand my skills into ttrpgs and dnd, but I am clueless. Are all ttrpg require the same aspect ratio/pixel dimensions? Does one have a standard template/margin for those cards or I should just worry on making an illustration in the said size? Among many other things I might overlook, any resources or tips would help, both from an artist and a client standpoint. Thank you!

[Discussion] Anyone here who works at games/film (concept art, etc) while also working in traditional mediums (painting, art galleries)

Just curious as freelance digital artist who also wants to branch out on traditional local scene as I’m also passionate on that side. How did yall do it? Separation of socials but not secretive? Etc etc.

Thanks so much! :)

[For Hire] 2D Game Art, Concepts, Characters, etc.

https://kronideusart.artstation.com

Hi, I’m Rafael Woo, a freelance concept artist and illustrator looking for new work. Last year I completed three one-shots, including one for a contest in Japan, and contributed to an upcoming Kickstarter comic campaign. For each project I handled character designs and cover illustrations as well. I’m especially passionate about fantasy and D&D, and I’m looking to expand my client base into that space.

My DMs are open as well. Thank you so much.

[Discussion] Is it possible to have more than one art discipline/niche/income?

I want to make furry/nsfw art on a new account as my current one is for concept/illustrations for games etc. But since my clientele would pretty much be from other countries outside my own, I also want to do gallery work or traditional paintings to try in my country’s art scene.

How can I manage or divide this goal? Can I atleast “associate” my name with both main art account (not the nsfw) and the trad painting account? Or start posting my trad paintings into may main account? Or what?

Question: How can I present this better?

Should I atleast have a fully rendered one or what? Idk how to showcase this properly and professional for portfolio purposes

[Recommendations] I was hired as a mentor, and tomorrow is my first session

Client hired me for feedbacks and to redraw their practice drawings and this is my first time mentoring someone and I need practical advice now (eg: general flow of the 2 hour session, what to do or how to systemize/organize)

I’m nervously excited and I look forward for your comments. Thank you!
