I've been holding off for ... My God, a year? Feels like it's been that long of being asked to switch. So I finally did. Picked a voice, agreed to terms and.... It's now been perfectly fine for the last 4 days.

This was so not expected after the non stop complaints. Every automation I use works just as it did. In fact, I think on one of them, it actually confirmed with like 2 less words.

I'm blown away. It isn't trying to start conversations with me. Not telling me things it can do. And even giving me the correct temperature outside which is apparently today's top complaint.

Absolutely not trying to minimize anyone's annoyances or frustrations.. but even my one frustration .. behaves exactly the same as it did on Assistant.

Exactly like before. It's also scary how it's working.

Thinking about an EV for my wife's next car. I'm surprised how little chatter there is here about them. Long time lurker. Just spent some time scrolling and searching and ...there's not much.

Next car will be a MB for her...just debating the EV choices. No, not even remotely because of current gas prices. Wife has been talking EV for a few years now. She really hates going to the gas station. LOL

Appreciate any thoughts on the current model line. I know the earliest ones don't have the best range.,..was watching one at a local dealer price drop...price drop...price drop... with a 200 mile range I get it... we still considered it because range isn't the most important to us. She's 18 miles from work.
