Storm damaged mature trees before closing
friend sold their house. closing in October. tornado hit today.
mature trees got damaged. Extent unknown as they moved out already.
What do you think happens. Negotiate compensation for the loss of trees?

going on a year with this thing. Bottom of foot
doctor froze it twice over the past year. salicylic acid in between.
last freezing Was 6 weeks ago.
is it dead?
key fob is acting weird. red light stats on for a few seconds. randomly wasn’t open doors. looks doors when unlock is pressed. sometimes doesn’t work at all.
i think it might have been happening before but we got rear ended last week. wondering if they’re related or it’s just the fob.
could a weak battery cause these issues, or is the actual fob failing/dirty? lost second fob.
any tips to resolve?
is it common to replace a foot valve every 2-3 years when drawing water from a lake with strong wave action?
seems mine fails (rubber gasket?) every 2-3 years. trying to find replacement o rings.
have 200,000 kms on our Fit.
i know the Honda CVT ps have had some issues.
these issues mainly on the CrV and HRV?
does the lower weight and low HP on the Fit make it more reliable.
Planning on taking it south for a 5000km return trip.
i e changed fluids when the MM called for it. Around 80,000 and 160,000 kms.
bought a new unit and broke it in. drained all fuel. only needed for emergency use. could be years before I need it.
better to store it without fuel and leave it untouched or keep fuel in it and run every few months, while ensuring fuel is fresh?
found my brass foot valve leaking.
greased the washer and seems ok.
but….do people regularly replace the gasket ?
I use a 1.5” everbilt valve from Home Depot.
my driveway is starting to crack and some areas become loose if I hit it with a pressure washer.
quote two quotes for new asphalt but other expenses have come up. second quote told me it’s not quite ready for a tear out.
is there a sealant that goes behind the typical re spray? something a little thicker that will fill in the areas where the stones are coming through.
some spots of my driveway are rough enough to “catch” grass clippings that can be difficult to move with a regular garden hose nozzle.
I can’t find adapters to connect this 2” lake filter and 2” check valve to my existing 1.25” intake pipe. Seems a variety of adapters isn’t available in Canada. I bought the lake filter on a whim while in the US.
Should,I really get a check valve with couplings for future servicing?
I previously asked about which end to put the check valve on. my pump is on land. about 30’ intake pipe. seems it would make most sense to put the check valve on the lake end instead of the pump end.…..to keep water in the intake pipe. yet many people on Reddit said to put it on the pump end?
This is adjacent to a garden bed. I removed the sprinkler head that was in the bed after it broke. not sure if the irrigation head caused this damage or just poor overall drainage for the bed near by.
how would you repair this? or is a replacement required.
stupid me. didn’t take better pictures. disassembled this in the fall. refurbished it.
cant remember where the final 2 shorter brackets go.
i have 4 brackets. 2 long, 2 short.
i know the 2 long ones support the entire back length as you can see in the photo.
don't remember where the two shorter pieces go. what I do know is one end had a wood screw and one end had a threaded bolt (with or without a nut, but I believe there was no nut). any ideas?
what does this mean for students entering 4th year in a conEd program?
have any of the universities made any announcements?
I’m trying this lake filter instead of a traditional brass foot valve.
I’ll need to add a check valve.
my intake pipe going from the pump to the lake is about 35’ long
is it better to put the check valve closer to the pump or closer to the intake end?
budget is around $500,000
trying to keep maintenance fees below $500 month.

any areas to focus on or avoid?
Used Pickleheads in the past. liked it….but not sure it can accommodate a weekly ladder where attendance is not mandatory.
can you select and deselect participants that cant commit to every week?
ive also participated in a ladder that used GPN. seemed good. allowed people to participate each week, or not. no app. just web based. the “points” earned each week were unclear to me. how are points earned?
any other suggestions?
