What’s happening here?

I’m not a pilot, just someone who’s been on close to 250 flights in my life. I’ve never seen this. Not claiming that this isn’t normal, I’m just curious why it’s done. This was just prior to takeoff at Jackson hole Wyoming.

Making a working survey is tinkering

Prusa made a survey with a broken cloudflare authentication and it says it saves replies but it doesn't.

People playing EVE are ruining it.

I'm sick and tired of logging on to EVE and encountering other players, everyone should stop playing so I can enjoy the game in peace.

Gemini still hasn't learnt that Google isn't the only SynthID user.

"This image does not contain a SynthID watermark, which means it was not created or modified using Google AI. However, this does not rule out the possibility that it was generated or edited using other artificial intelligence tools or software, as SynthID only detects digital watermarks from Google AI models."

Google and OpenAI both use SynthID and neithers tools detect the others watermark.

AI doesn't know the difference between caller ID and area codes.

There is an ongoing wave of scam calls featuring the caller ID "Nova Scotia PEI" when searching Google for info about this I got the helpful result. None of the cited links back up what it is saying.

This default behavior is a sign of danger!

When someone edits a shared google document, gmail will show this message, apparently I'm being hacked!

I was just looking for the name of the song, not for ideas on what to do in the bedroom...

Will more spawning spaces increase rates when other players are taking up mob cap?

So I'm on a minecraft java 21.11 server which regularly has 70+ players, and I have a creeper farm that only has 5-10 creepers in it at a time so I think the mob cap is taken up by other players. I'm wondering, if I dramatically increase the number of spawning spaces, will my farm get a larger portion of the mob cap and thus more creepers?

This is the farm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHD0O-F3hb4
