2002 Toyota Sequoia inner tie rod OEM part insanely expensive

Moog has the inner and outer tie rod kit for about $130. I'm finding the inner tie rod OEM part set for about 6 to $700. I'm not willing to pay that much. I have heard bad things about moog lately. What say you?

This isn't supposed to look like this right?

My guess is someone got over enthusiastic and fed the insulation right into the breaker. This goes to my AC disconnect that was fused. I keep popping the same fuse. I hope I found the reason why

Do I need a disconnect box with a fuse if I have a breaker for my AC on my panel?

My disconnect box keeps blowing the same fuse, I need to replace it. The wire/connection at that fuse looks really bad and it's been burnt. I don't know why this happened. It could have been loose at one point and then tightened down. I don't know whether I should purchase one that takes fuses or not. My limited research says if there's a breaker for the AC on the main panel it's not needed, am I missing anything?

*Update* 50a or 60a blown fuse post :

Posting this update so I don't have to post my new findings in the comments. I removed the cable going to the area where plastic was melting and found this. How would you guys proceed here? Strip it back and install a new disconnect? If so any good brands or types to look for? Can I ditch the fuse system and get one with breakers? I have never done this before.

What fuse should I be using a 60 amp or a 50 amp?

One sticker says 50a and the box that holds the fuses says it a 60a system. I just posted regarding a fuse that keeps blowing. That was a 50 amp fuse and the enclosure seems to get hot and has melted plastic, very worried about that. I have already tested the capacitor and the other components .Posted this one separately so it gets more attention and I don't have to ask this question in the

comments.

Please help with my no start issue

Honda eu1000i, just bought used recently, cleaned carb, had clogged jets (no surprise). Put back together and fired up great. Shut off gas gas, drained the bowl. 1 week later I try to get it going again and no go. The symptoms -

1.Gas on the spark plug (verified it's sparking and used the same plug on another gen that turned it on)

  1. Oil in the air filter.

Strange note, it seems to want to start and I got it going for 5 seconds and it shut off. Seems to start try to start if I don't let the pull chord all the way in and leave it half way out after pulling.

Not sure what to do, my knowledge with these ends at the carb.

People with the the Duromax XP13000/15000 -

Have you guys actually verified that the THDs are less than 5% the way it's advertised on their site? They claim that by using copper windings they achieve clean power. I'm concerned that their own comments (from their official YouTube page) contradict these claims and they have stated that these actually put out 12-20% THD. Unfortunately I cannot get a straight answer from Duromax about this either. I'm on the hunt for a YouTube video or write up where this is actually tested. No luck yet.

AC keeps blowing fuses.

Second blown fuse in a week. The fuse container/fuses was really hot to the touch and smelled slightly burned although it didn't look like a fire had occurred upon checking. I know this must be a symptom of the real problem. What's the first thing I should be checking here?

Forgot to add that when I replace the fuse the system works perfectly fine.

Anymore recent info on the Westinghouse WGen 11500Tfc THDs?

I've seen contrary claims on this actually being a sub 5% THD rig or not. Some claims here on this page claims it can actually hover over 10% under certain loads and some ytube vids claim its 5% or less under loads. Is there a definitive answer here? I'm looking at purchasing a portable (clean) inverter gen. Most are in the $2k price range for the size I want (10k ish running). This one seems to be much cheaper at $1500. What say you?

School me on "whole home" gens..

Meant to say portable whole home gens

Looking for something to power the whole house during an outage I live near a red fire zone and the local utility shuts power off during high winds. I want something to power everything including AC with CLEAN power. What are the differences between Predator, Westinghouse, Champion etc etc? Do the Westinghouse produce clean power? What should I look for here? An invertor right? Thanks for your suggestions.

Loved CR who's been to Panama?

Asking here because I loved certain parts of CR and would like to find something similar in Panama. We loved Montezuma and Del Coco Beach and are looking for a similar vibe in Panama. A chill place with emptier beaches that feels safe and relaxing. Thanks all.
