Does anyone see any results with the arm and hammer saline spray?

This is probably my 5th post of the day because I’m having such a terrible reflux day but has anyone seen improvement with this spray? I’m thinking about buying it instead of gargling baking soda…

Lately after eating almost anything my mouth itches + tight throat

Idk if this matters but I had to be on different antibiotics for a UTI. Was on Macrobid first, reacted badly, changed, got mouth itchiness and throat tightness from amoxicillin changed to Keflex got mouth itchiness and throat tightness changed by doctor in case of Penicillin allergy…finally changed to Bactrim, 3 day course 6 liquid suspension doses and I just finished it yesterday. Now I’ve been trying to eat and I noticed my mouth is really itchy after eating chickpeas and rice and mayo last night and now rice and beans which I have not had a problem with before, none of these and then it stops after a bit and then it’s just my throat that feels tight or my sore and just now eating plantains, there it is again itchy mouth and then I ate mayo and rice again because I thought the culprits were the chickpeas and the beans from the last meal and more itchiness…at this point I’m scared to eat anymore…I don’t have an allergy appointment until all the way in November…I am on a cancelation list at least.

I took Claritin after eating chickpeas yesterday and I think it helped with the itching? But idk it like stops after a bit randomly so maybe it stopped on its own?

What could this be did I just develop multiple allergies to multiple things? Or could it be one of the antibiotics I was on?
I only took 1 pill of Macrobid more than a week ago.
2 doses Amoxicillin 1 or 2 days later. And then after my last Amoxicillin took Keflex and started Bactrim about 4-3 days ago and finished my course.
Could it be the Bactrim instead? I know for antibiotics delayed reactions are definitely a thing.

Really at a loss and I’m terrified. Have Claritin and Epipen on hand at least (Have different food allergy.)

The itchiness is usually in roof of mouth or tongue or throat…

Also sometimes feels like my tongue is in the way but I wonder if that’s just some other unrelated anxiety thing

Does anyone know if lpr throat tightness and alllergy tightness feel the same?

Throat tightness gives me so much anxiety and it’ll usually be after eating I get worried that it’s instead an allergic reaction…does anyone know how to distinguish? Or what would be different?

Can LPR cause mouth/tongue itchiness?

I can’t tell if it’s maybe reflux or possible allergies causing my throat, mouth and tongue to itch. It’s usually after ingesting something.
I was on an antibiotic almost a day ago, Bactrim btw and actually 3 more before that one just 2 doses each before…anyway I was on Bactrim for 3 days and I think this entire antibiotic ordeal has fucked up my reflux even more.

Buuut I don’t know if this itching is a presentation of it. I can’t tell if the itching is actually the Bactrim or the food I’m eating which I’ve had before in the past but I’ve also heard people can develop an allergy at any time…I guess I developed a rice or chickpea one? Both times after eating them my mouth and tongue has itched and I was coughing and throat tightness but I also don’t know if it’s reflux…I took Claritin yesterday and it somehow made it better but it’s the next day and the 24 hours of the effect hasn’t given up and I ate rice and beans and I’m itching again…unless it’s the beans too? Or maybe it’s the Bactrim still? And just a delayed reaction which I’ve heard can happen?
The throat tightness is also panic inducing but also sometimes I’ll take a throat tea and feel better or give it 2 hours time…

Anyways what I’m trying to get at is…is mouth itching whether it’s tongue it throat or roof of mouth or mouth itching an lpr thing or is this more possible allergy territory?

How delayed can an allergic reaction be?

….after exposure
Would it just depend?
I just finished a 3-day course of Bactrim today and am super scared I’ll get a delayed allergic reaction…will I be in the clear in a week or is it more like a month? Or is it just random?…Terrifying. What’s the latest someone can react to something…? Like I’ve seen something around that says 72 hours but I’m not sure if that accounts for everyone.

I’ve seen people take meds and then some days later react to said meds and then think it’s something else.

Allergic reactions are scary in general but delayed ones terrify me so much because you’d think the source was okay and then all of a sudden…

Terrible brain fog from Bactrim?

I took my last 2 dose 2 hours ago and have such terrible brain fog right now…I figured side effects would come out more later rather than at the end but I’m so terrified because I feel unreal it’s scary. Did anyone else experience this? I’ve been on it for the course of 3 days…
My hands feel weak and I feel like my head is floating…
Also idk if Bactrim has given anybody else back pain?

What could this be it hurts so bad I just want it to stop

It’s like an annoying ache it used to be dull and uncomfortable but now it’s like hard to even describe but it’s so annoying and painful I can’t lay down and get no relief in any position.

I have a UTI and went to the ER earlier in case it was my kidneys but all they did was take out blood work and a urine sample and say it looked good so they likely don’t think it’s a kidney infection. They held off on a CT based on those results.

I don’t know though it started last night and I was getting some pangs all along the week but it’s been so consistent today. Please help.

Missed dose of antibiotics and forgot to shake bottle…what do I do

Was scheduled to take Bactrim at 8:30 AM took it at 1:49 PM just now…I’m almost 6 hours late…
Is that okay? I also forgot to shake the bottle (oral suspension) will that severely affect anything?

Also do I take my next dose at 1:49 AM or at 8:30 PM or just 8 hours from now?

Can someone tell me what’s going on

Diagnosed with UTI about 3 weeks ago.
Go on 3 different antibiotics usually maximum 2 doses for all of them. I stopped one of them for bad side effects and the other two for allergy concerns.

Go on Bactrim. On the day I take my first dose I have back pain, burning when urinating, urgency, cramps, not much urination but constantly going.
Feel better after taking then the next morning and afternoon then after 3rd dose at night, feel terrible again. Have lower constant dull back pain worse that before first dose, constant frequency to urinate, go frequently, only pee a little when I do go.

My back and the feeling like I have to go + burning feel in crotch are worrying me the most right now.
Does this signify the antibiotics aren’t working? Or that my infection could have traveled to my Kidneys?
I feel so uncomfortable and am unsure if to go to ER.

Got this rash(?) on neck/collarbone;Currently on Bactrim

It’s located on my collarbone area.
I’ve taken 2 doses of Bactrim.
It itches…and stings/burns a bit.
Does it look concerning?

I first noticed it like less than an hour ago.
I thought they were hives because some parts look elevated but I’m not sure because they aren’t that elevated.
I’m so fucking terrified of Steven Johnson Syndrome…should I go to the ER? It’s the weekend so if I message my doc I probably won’t get a response until tomorrow.

Anyone else experience eye pain/watery eyes with Bactrim?

On it for a UTI; have only done 2 doses 12 hours apart thus far. I’m supposed to take 6 in total, over the course of 3 days.
I’ve gotten a tingly back, an intermittent burning sensation in the soles of my feet and sometimes a stinging pain in my eyes or dull ache or sometimes they’ll be watering…does that sound like Bactrim side effects?
I’m so scared of Steven Johnson Syndrome (sjs)…
Also what are some side effects it gave you?

Burning sensation in feet/hot sensation-Bactrim

I took my first dose about 3 hours ago after agonizing over it so long worrying about the side effects and potential complications…my feet all of a sudden feel like they’re burning/hot I think just the soles…they look normal somewhat but feel not good…is this normal or should I go the er and get checked out for sjs?

Stomach pain

Starting to get bad stomach pain I’m 3 weeks and 1 day from the onset of my symptoms I’ve been on 3 other different antibiotics that didn’t seem to work out…1 terrible side effects and the other 2 possible allergies I was prescribed Bactrim that I haven’t taken because I am so terrified because of Steven Johnson Syndrome.

Is stomach pain normal and due to the uti or possibly even kidneys or is it because of the different trialing of antibiotics. I haven’t completed any courses. I took 1 macrobid pill, 2 doses of Amoxicillin, and 2 of Keflex…
I’m considering going to the ER.

IM SO SCARED TO TAKE MY ANTIBIOTIC

I have to take Bactrim for a UTI and I’m scared I’ll either get an allergic reaction or Steven Johnson Syndrome sjs. But I also don’t want sepsis.
I’ve been panicking so hard since I’ve been prescribed.
I was given amoxicillin and then keflex but seemed to have allergy like reactions to them.
And on Macrobid I was doing horrid but I think I’d prefer that now to the uncertainty that is Bactrim which I’ve heard is the most associated antibiotic with sjs.
I’m crying so much I really don’t want to die I want to live so badly I don’t want to die I want to live

I’m scared of taking Bactrim

I heard this is the most common antibiotic that causes sjs or Steven Johnson Syndrome and I’m terrified…that it could even be up to 8 weeks for it to show and I know that if I take it I will not stop thinking about it panicking about everything.

I have a UTI and I’ve already switched meds like 3 times with Bactrim being my 4th…

I know sjs is deadly and even if survived comes with life long disability, pain and complications…

I’m so so so scared. Should I just ask for another antibiotic
