I am a Class 12 PCMB student (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology) from CBSE, preparing for 2027 college admissions. My Class 11 was mostly wasted, and after boards I spent a month mostly scrolling and not studying. I am not mainly targeting NEET anymore and I want honest career guidance based on real lifestyle, not just exam hype.

My priorities are:

Freedom

Flexible lifestyle

Good salary

Lower stress

Long-term career growth

A career I can actually enjoy living daily, not just a prestigious title

I do NOT want a rigid life with constant fixed schedules if avoidable. I want strong earning potential, independence, and ideally options like remote work, freelancing, startups, or flexible career growth.

I have around 60% expected in CBSE Class 12 boards, so I may not meet the 75% criteria for IIT/NIT-related admissions. I want realistic options despite that, not motivational lies.

I also have -2.75D myopia, so please consider that while suggesting careers like Merchant Navy, Defence, etc.

I have explored and want comparison/advice for:

JEE Main

COMEDK

UGEE (IIIT Hyderabad)

VITEEE

MET (Manipal)

SRMJEEE

MHT CET

KCET

IMU CET (Merchant Navy)

IAT (IISER)

NEST

CLAT

IPMAT

BBA DBE

SAT / ACT

Other strong backup options if relevant

I want guidance on:

Which exams are most worth it for me

Which careers fit my personality best

Whether I should fully leave NEET or keep it as backup

Whether JEE Main is still worth preparing for if I may not get IIT/NIT due to board percentage

Why COMEDK may be better than only relying on VITEEE/MET/SRM

Whether UGEE should be a dream target or main target

Whether Merchant Navy is realistically good for me considering my lifestyle goals and eyesight

Whether there are careers I haven’t considered that may fit me better (especially tech, AI, startup/business, research, etc.)

Please compare careers like:

Engineering / Tech (especially CS, AI, Data, Software)

Doctor / Medical path

Merchant Navy

Research / IISER path

Law / Corporate law

Business / Entrepreneurship

Design / UI-UX / Creative tech

Compare them based on:

Freedom

Salary

Stress

Stability

Social life

Long-term growth

Which personality type fits best

Also create:

A clear roadmap from now (2026) to 2027 exams

Priority order of exams I should definitely attempt

Which exams should be main focus vs safe backup vs dream target

Exact PCM subjects and important chapters I should study

A realistic strategy for someone with weak Class 11 basics and current inconsistency

Advice for recovering from scrolling addiction and rebuilding study discipline

I want brutally honest advice, not generic motivation. Help me choose the smartest path for my life, not just the most famous one.
