Why do some people hate us when they can mind their own damn business?

This is what happens when you come out to a right-winged “friend”
Today, because it is IDAHOBIT, I’ll remind you to watch out for who you came out to.
Context: I used to know this guy for 7 years, and we were classmates for the entirety of high school and literally grew up together, despite the fact he is a conservative christian.
I came out to him as an asexual a year ago, and he seemed to accept me at first.
But then, this January, he had this conversation with a far-right friend of him.
Let’s just say, he is not my friend anymore.
