Save The World on a decade-old integrated graphics, Intel 530.

Set your resolution to 720P fullscreen with a scaled 3D res at 56%, and keep the view distance at medium or low to reduce stutters for an optimal experience. Reduce textures to the minimum since you only have 128MB of VRAM. Avoid recording in the background at high quality or using resource-heavy overlays, this is why my “video” is taken with my iPhone’s camera. For clearer visuals, lock your FPS at 30; you'll achieve that FPS at 100% 3D scaling.

Just tested Nocturnal on Steam with the Intel HD 530. Despite the prerequisites being the GTX 500 series, it is operating at 40-60 FPS with my optimised visual settings at 720P.

Granted, I’m early in the game. Intent to bring it up to date in the future when I get further. I’m on the Intel HD 530 with 128MB VRAM, 8 GB of RAM, and Windows 11 with the HP 2011 900P 60HZ display.

LODs are kinda broken in Party Royale right now with on Intel integrated graphics on Performance mode, at least for me.

When I’m close to the objects, they get clulled, but when I’m stepping back, they are full detail. This may or may not be a hardware issue, as my PC is an older one with low-end hardware, i7, 530, 8 GB of RAM, peaking around 90-100 FPS in very undemanding scenes.

Boxes: Lost Fragments runs great on low-end iGPUs and still looks great at the same time.

I was able to achieve a FPS of 60 at 720P, and 45-55 at 900P on my Intel HD Graphics 330, Intel i7, 8GB of RAM. This was despite the minimum requirements being the Intel HD 4000 or ATI FireGL V7350!

I'm trying to decide whether to wall-mount my 28" 1080p JVC LT-32C351 or keep it against the wall on the desk. It's my primary gaming display for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, with a PS4 and PSVR also in the room (not currently hooked up). I also stream media, DVDs, and Blu-rays through the PS5.

The room is usually lit with a colorful RGB strip behind the TV; the first photo is without it (not normally this dark), second shows the ambient glow.

Key details:

TV: JVC LT-32C351 (28", 1080p)

Main use: Gaming (PS5, Switch) + media

RGB ambient lighting at the back of the room for atmosphere

Photos show current setup with/without lighting

I'm considering mounting for a cleaner look and better ergonomics, but I'm not sure if it's worth it for a 28" screen.

Questions for you:

Should I mount it? If so, what height would be ideal?

Is 1080p fine at this size and typical viewing distance?

Any tips for integrating RGB lighting with a mounted TV?

The native PS5 release suffers from several critical issues that prevent it from harnessing the console’s full potential. Most notably, the GPU is not being properly utilized, forcing the system to rely on software rendering instead of hardware acceleration. This results in suboptimal performance and inefficient resource use. Additionally, advanced anti-aliasing (AA) techniques are either missing or improperly implemented, leading to an unnaturally sharpened and sometimes jagged image that detracts from visual fidelity. Despite the game running at a stable 60FPS, 120Hz output remains unsupported, missing a key opportunity to deliver smoother gameplay on compatible displays. Currently, the maximum resolution is capped at 1080p, which underuses the PS5’s capabilities, especially when compared to other titles that achieve 4K or dynamic 4K upscaled output. Given these technical shortcomings, the PS5 version does not offer a meaningful upgrade over the PS4 edition. In fact, in some aspects, such as image quality and rendering accuracy, it may even represent a step backward. Until these issues are resolved through patches or updates, including proper GPU utilization, restored AA, 120Hz support, and higher resolution output, the experience remains incomplete. Therefore, I cannot recommend upgrading from the PS4 version at this time.
