WIP look at the new customization system in our indie driving game

We’ve been working on a new customization system for our driving game, and this is how it’s looking so far.

There’s still more we want to add and polish, but we’d love to know what you think!

Is there anything that immediately caught your attention, or something that doesn’t quite fit?

Driving Rogue got arcade on it's own

Seeing our game come to life in a dedicated arcade space is incredibly rewarding, and we can’t wait for players to experience it in person
If you got a quarter and you are near Calgary, you can try it out

Our game is getting new redline bosses which you race against

We are going to have 10 boss rivals for our game, this is the first one, what do you think about the design?

What do you think? Does the transition feel smooth?
Any resemblance to existing references is purely coincidental 😂

Driving Rogue a roguelite where your car is your build

Hey everyone!
A little while ago we shared our trailer here, and the feedback was really helpful, so we wanted to show a bit more
The core idea is a driving focused roguelite where every run lets you build your vehicle with different mods, abilites, and upgrades. The fun comes from discovering weird combinations that end up being way stronger than they have any right to be.
We're still actively developing the game, so we would love to hear your thoughts. Based on the gameplay video, does this look like something you'd play? Are there any mechanics or features you'd want to see in a driving roguelite?

Driving Rogue on Steam Deck

We’ve been developing Driving Rogue, an arcade style driving roguelite where every run is a fight to survive. As you progress, you’ll upgrade your vehicle, adapt to increasingly chaotic challenges, and see how long you can stay in control as the world gets faster, stranger, and more unpredictable. We’d really appreciate hearing from Steam Deck players. Does the gameplay look clear enough on the smaller screen?
Do the controls seem like they’d translate well to the Deck?
And does this seem like the kind of roguelite you’d enjoy playing on the go?
Thanks for taking the time to check it out!

Driving Rogue - Cinematic Trailer

We're excited to announce that Driving Rogue will be launching on Steam on
September 17!
We're making Driving Rogue, a roguelite arcade driving game built around high-score chasing, risky driving, powerful upgrades, and surviving as long as possible before a single crash ends your run.
The core idea is simple: what if an arcade driving game had the structure of a roguelite? Instead of traditional races, every run is a unique challenge where you'll weave through traffic, drift around corners, chain near-misses, collect upgrades and cards, and push your luck to build a stronger run than the last.
Our goal is to make driving games endlessly replayable beyond the usual racing formula. In Driving Rogue, that comes from:

  • Procedurally generated runs instead of fixed tracks
  • Multiple cars, each with distinct strengths and playstyles
  • Upgrade and card choices that shape every run
  • Risk-versus-reward scoring through near-misses, drifting, and slipstreaming
  • Leaderboard-driven score chasing

A one crash and you're out system where every mistake matters
The demo is live on Steam, and we’d really appreciate feedback from PC players. We’re especially interested in whether the game feels fair at speed, whether the upgrade choices are interesting, and whether the “one more run” loop comes through.
Demo: Driving Rogue Demo
Steam Page: Driving Rogue
We’ll be around in the comments and are happy to answer questions!

Dule PCAxe je probao Driving Rogue

Ne možemo da sakrijemo koliko nam znači što je našu igru igrao jedan od YouTubera koje smo gledali dok smo bili mlađi. Neverovatno lep i pomalo nestvaran osećaj. Drago nam je što smo dobili priliku da nas neko iz lokalne scene primeti. Bacite pogled! ❤️

Arcade racing roguelite

Hey everyone!
We shared our trailer here recently and got a really positive response, so I wanted to show a bit more of what we've been working on.
This time it's our Photo Mode, where you can capture some absolutely ridiculous shots during your runs. Any references are purely coincidental... 😄
The game is a roguelite where every run lets you upgrade your vehicle with new mods, gadgets, and wild synergies while surviving increasingly chaotic roads. The idea is to create those moments where you think, "There's no way this build should work..."—and then it somehow carries you all the way through.
We're still deep in development, so I'd love to hear your thoughts. Does this look like something you'd play?

We are developing customization for Driving Rogue

The original inspiration for our game was basically NFS × Balatro, so we couldn't resist trying some car customization.
As huge fans of Need for Speed: Underground 2, customization has always been a big part of what makes a car feel like yours. For our first pass, we've added some basic options like rims, spoilers, and side skirts.
It's still early, but we'd love to know what you think. What would you add or change? Any feedback is welcome!

A racing roguelike?

One of our favorite things about Driving Rogue is discovering card combinations that completely change how a run plays. This build is all about staying at low health and turning that risk into massive score. Twincharger starts every race at 50% health, Anti Fragile helps you survive crashes, while I Am the Danger and Critical Performer stack huge score bonuses. Increased RPM Limit keeps the car feeling fast, and you still have five card slots left to experiment with. We're sure this isn't the strongest build in the game though.
We'd love to see what kind of broken combinations the community manages to discover.
