What if Yulia Navalnaya and the Russian opposition were able to bring back democracy to Russia after the death of Navalny?

What if the Stolypian reforms were implemented preventing a Russian revolution and having Russia end up under a constitutional monarchy.

Has anyone watched fall of the eagles? Heres Patrick Stewart as Vladimir Lenin.

Patrick Stewart played Vladimir Lenin in fall of the eagles and he does a good performance as him. He’s also kind of funny playing him when he says stuff like liberals and the way he talks.

Does anyone know anything about the SDUSA? It’s apparently a social democrat party based on the name.

The social democrat party USA apparently is quite small and was a successor to the socialist party of the USA which split into the sdusa, spa, and dsoc. I don’t understand why they would even split into three parties. Does anyone know why they remain separated and won’t unite?

Does this show really depict how living in the 90s was?

I was born in 1999 so I didn’t live through the 90s but I’m wondering if this show was an accurate depiction about how it was. People said they were jaded because it was the “end of history” era of the USA after the Soviet Union fell and before 9/11. I don’t know if that’s really the case or not though. I’ve also heard people were very jaded like the characters in the show but it could just be focusing on those subcultures.

What if Boris Savinkov returns to his roots and blows up all the Bolshevik leadership after the Bolshevik coup?

Boris Savinkov spent his youth as part of the militant branch of the social revolutionary party. He would help cause the 1905 revolution such as killing the tzar’s uncle and other politicians. He was ordered to stop doing so after the duma was formed as a show of good faith to the tzar. Anyway Boris Savinkov spent a long time in France until returning to Russia after the February revolution under Kerensky. He would also try to help Kerensky when he asked for help after the Bolsheviks took over all of Petrograd. What if instead Boris Savinkov decided to get the gang back together and blow up the Bolshevik leadership with dynamite and other explosives. He would target leaders such as Lenin, Trotsky, Svedlov, Trotsky, and any other Bolshevik leadership. What would Boris Savinkov do after? Would he try to implement what he wanted to do under the Union for the Defense of the Motherland and Freedom?

Advocating for a three hour work day seems crazy

Paul Lafargue was a French philosopher who was famous for his book the Right to be Lazy which criticized the labor movement’s push for the eight hour work day because he said it was a capitulation compared to limiting it further then just eight hours. He thought that most hours should be spent in leisure, relaxing, talking to friends and enjoying their lives. He also thought automation could accomplish this even in his era. He would also later married Laura Marx who was the daughter of Karl Marx. They both died by suicide in their 60s

What do people think of this flag? It’s the Labour and Socialist international flag.

It was an organization that was created from the Vienna and Berne internationals uniting. It was also the social democratic version of the Communist International or Third International that existed during the same time. It largely based itself on the second international and had congresses like the second as well. It doesn’t seem as powerful though and seems to be largely replaced by the third international in international relevance. Unfortunately it was pro imperialist and colonialism which really hurts its future self. The current socialist international is based somewhat around it. Anyway I think the flag looks cool. The three dimensional sphere gives depth to the image, the hexagon shape makes it very unique , the red and yellow really work well together on the flat and the text really compliments it.
