We have a team in our league that will essentially be unmanaged all year
Long story short, we had an 11 man league of friends set up and good to go; the commissioner really wanted a 12th, for whatever reason, so one of our buddies who doesn’t care about football is now a team with the commissioner covering his buy-in.
He was told he didn’t have to do anything and that the app would take care of it for him, which isn’t true; he autodrafted, but he doesn’t plan on making any subs or managing his players at all.
It’s my first year in a fantasy league, and I’m hoping for a competitive year and shooting to finish in the top 6 ideally. I know the 12th dude doesn’t care about fantasy, and often speaks down about it, but I also don’t want to play what is essentially an unmanaged bot team.
I’m debating helping him out with the extremely limited knowledge I’ve gathered over the past month or so in my studying before the season starts; should I give him some pointers/let him know to move players around when needed, or just leave it? Part of me wants to help, but the other half also kind of wants to see it go poorly since the whole idea is the commissioner’s and didn’t make any sense, as far as I understand.
Thanks for listening to my rant about fantasy football drama lol
