Happy medium between razer black widow and red dragon k619?

Hey gang,

I just started playing WOW again and I am trying to upgrade my gaming keyboard because it's old and several of the buttons have stopped working, and I just don't really like the feel of it.

It is a razer black widow (not current gen, I can't find my receipt and I'm not home to check in the app but I think it was the 2nd gen). I just got a red dragon k619 in the mail today and am not super happy with it.

At work I prefer the low profile keyboards, the one I am typing on right now I am extremely accurate on, the keys feel nice to me, I like it. So I looked for a low profile gaming keyboard.

That brought me to the red dragon. Something about it I just do -not- like, the keys feel slippery and I keep over reaching and hitting wrong buttons. The responsiveness is good, the sound and click of them is nice and quiet like I like but man I'm just making mistakes left and right and like I said, they feel super slippery.

So my question is, does anyone have a happy medium keyboard between these two styles? The razer feels clunky but my keystrokes are more accurate, the red dragon feels nice but is slippery and inaccurate. I think the keys are too close together and that's what is tripping me up.

Do they make a medium profile?

Budget: Less than $100 preferably, but willing to go up to $125.

Size: 1800 compact / 100%

Other: Wired only, some back lighting effects like the ones I have would be nice but not a dealbreaker.

Thanks for any reccs you can pass along!

Sorry for yet another tattoo artist post but I'm not just looking for "the best" or anything like the usual posts, so please forgive!

I have a pretty simple, small (Like 3 inches or less) plain black ink tattoo I'm looking to get done asap but I've been calling and emailing around and it seems everybody is booked up weeks/months in advance even for just a lil guy, or one artist straight up said they only do their own flash and aren't interested in such a small piece. (Lame)

I'm positive it wouldn't be more than an hour.....I want someone who knows what they are doing and is professional but the piece is so basic that anyone could do it, style doesn't really matter.

Anyone have any recs of folks that take either walk ins or that aren't booked out into June ? Just want to get this done soon before summer fully hits.

Thanks for any tips!

Hey gang,

Planning our trip down there and we definitely want to spend at least one day, probably two doing nothing but bougie beach bumming! I'm thinking a day pass at an all inclusive or a reserved bed at a beach day club.

Top of the list is Hyatt Ziva day pass, but I want to know if there are some others worth looking at?

The main thing we are after is a dedicated lounge spot that we don't have to fight for, and can go take a dip in the water whenever without worrying about someone stealing our spot.

I want to reserve a bed ahead of time, and just have it waiting for us when we arrive, we'd prefer a bali bed/day bed situation, but could work with a couple loungers and an umbrella if that's all that is reservable....It could be poolside as long as it has ocean view but would prefer to be down in the sand.

I'm looking around at the beach clubs in romantic zone and most seem to be first come first serve on seating, most without any sort of daybed setup, does anyone know any that allow you to reserve a bed ahead of time? Staying in the RZ would be cool but definitely not necessary, we are willing to take up to an hour or so uber to go to somewhere nice.

We don't do alcohol so the drinks situation doesn't really matter to us, just want good relaxing vibes on beach with food and drink service for a day.

Hey gang

I have had these nipple rings for a while and the D shaped rings is definitely my preferred jewlery shape, but I think I need a wider diameter for the straight part. When it gets cold and my nipples stiffen those corners of the D pinch me and it can be quite uncomfortable. Im pretty sure a wider diameter will solve the problem.

Because of the shape and guage im having a hard time finding anything pre-made so im looking at doing a custom. I am just not sure how wide to go? The diameters go up in such small increments I dont want to accidently get one that is still too short or go way overboard you know?

So if anyone could give me some advice id love that.

Im currently leaning towards 5/8in because im worried just going up to 9/16 won't be enough. Do you think 5/8 would be too wide? Or should I even jump to 3/4? I just want comfy nips!!

10 years old, just some jojoba oil once in a while, no significant trauma

Hey gang

I am planning a trip to mexico and am going to need some new shorts and was thinking I'd get a couple pairs of bearbottom's types of shorts that are quick dry so you can kind of use them as swim shorts to a degree. I expect lots of short beach stops and pool dips lol.

They have 3 types of these 'hybrid' type shorts and I'm not quite sure what the big differences are between them? one of them is clearly more casual than the other two, but between the two slightly nicer ones do they feel different? Which would be better? The "Deck shorts" and the "Hybrid shorts" are the two I'm looking at. The "Volley" shorts are the ones that are more casual, I'll definitely get some of those I think....

If anyone can chime in about those shorts that would be great! I'd prefer whichever has a deeper pocket and dries faster.

I apologize for the rant.

Y'all, I spent the last 2 years defending FTA-onward, saying" its not that bad, some of it feels fresh and fun, I like the teams, blah blah blah."

I think I was just in denial and had my perception skewed because FTA was the first time I started reading x-men monthly after a few years of binging to catch up, and that experience was fun and new for me. I dropped them monthly a long while back, but have been keeping up on MU. (so I can't comment on any of the new series this spring or united yet. I was even less down on AOR than a lot of people, I enjoyed a few of those minis quite a bit. But man...

I wanted to revisit some of the -good- stuff and picked up Astonishing and fuuuuuuck its so good. Cassaday's art, the characterizations, the outfits, I love it all. It's really making me realize how hollow and boring and soulless a lot of the new era feels like. They are totally just treading water waiting for the MCU mutants to do their thing, and its really disheartening.

I'll continue reading forever because x-men forever....but man I hope things swing back into a good era soon. The event this fall sounds kind of promising compared to AOR and manhunt, FF is my other favorite marvel property, but with Breevort still in office my hopes are way low.

IDK what I even want out of this post, just none of my IRL friends are X-heads and I needed to commiserate about the loss of my clouded judgement around the current era lol.

Stay golden.

Hey gang,

I have always gone to Europa for dinner when coming to town, especially if only for one night. It's my absolute favorite, but I recently discovered, (thanks to a homie on here that used to work there) how to make my favorite dish of theirs and unfortunately it feels a little less special now!

We have a trip coming up next month for one night and am thinking of branching out and going elsewhere for dinner. I am a pretty picky eater, but I'm hoping someone can give us some suggestions of where to go! Downtownish is best, we are staying at the Ruby and going to an event at the arena, so anywhere in that vicinity would be great.

I'm a vegetarian, but my husband is not. So some veggie options is a must but doesn't need to be like a full vegan place or anything.

Probably most interested in Italian or pizza, our italian and pizza situations back home are a little abysmal so we always like to try those types of places when we travel.

Neither of us get into ethnic food other than some mexican once in a while.

About as pricy as Europa or less, europa is already a little spendy but has always been worth it.

Thanks in advance!

Hey gang,

My husband and I are heading on our honeymoon to Puerto vallarta next May, I've never purchased travel insurance before but definitely want to this time around. My husband has some pre existing health issues, so good medical coverage and emergency flight coverage are a must.

My situation is that we just booked the airbnb but flights are not available for that time frame yet, I see all the advice saying book your travel insurance as soon as your first accommodation is made because of CFAR policy availability and something about pre-existing condition policies?

Can I book that travel insurance now before the flights are booked, and just add them and other ticketed events we purchase as we purchase them? Or do I need to wait until we get flights booked and then do insurance all at once? Its the pre-existing condition thing that worries me, my husband has epilepsy so that is definitely a pre-existing condition.....

Any advice would be really appreciated. If I can book it before the flights are booked and that is not an issue than I will probably book that insurance asap...

Thanks!

Hey gang, I'm THIS close to pulling the trigger and booking one of the penthouses are Marcela for a week next year. I think my anxiety and the pressure of planning a good honeymoon are getting to me but I'm thinking surely there is some sort of catch??

Its a crazy penthouse with a full kitchen, and a private patio hot tub with ocean views. Its gorgeous, the restaurant has consistent great reviews, the reviews of the hotel are all stellar (albeit there are less of them than at bigger places) and call it a hidden gem, for $370 a night most nights.

Am I lucky enough to have stumbled on that hidden gem? Or is it not as nice as it seems and thats why its a lower price than other places with these amenities? Is the view more obstructed than they want you to believe? I just want gorgeous sunsets and rises in the tub you know?

I know it is up on the hill a bit, like 10 mins from the beach which is okay with us, we are not looking for party vibe and it seems nice and quiet, idk I feel like I've hit the jackpot finding this place and just want a little more anecdotal info/reassurance about it from those who've been there.

Is it worth going here instead of an airbnb place like pinnacle? Private hot tub was one of our most wanted things and we are having trouble finding it in our price point until this one...but marcela's pool looks a little less fun than pinnacle's rooftop.

Thanks for any advice!
