how do I clean up my ds pico menu?

I am using a mac... this seems pretty simple if not for that.

So I can mess with the folder info and everything, but I can't give anything a "hidden attribute" as instructed on the main guide. Any tips for what I can do instead?

Advice on anxiety-driven avoidance

I didn't realize that I was always like this! But looking back on all that I can remember, I have always been an avoidant person. Avoidant when it comes to anything really. Anything that I am scared of the outcome for.

But I didn't really see it as a bad thing, or a good thing. It was just a thing, a part of me. Now that I am nearing 30 though, I am increasingly seeing this as a negative factor that is reducing my quality of life. I want to get it together and work on this.

Some examples that I can share (I cringe to admit these, but I think it'll paint a better picture):

- I put off getting married for a year or two because I was anxious about how it would go. Now happily married for a few years.

- I put off getting a major surgery done for... 10 years... because I was scared of the surgery itself. Had to deal with the reduced quality of life for 10 long years because I just didn't want to see a doctor and get diagnosed with something that would require surgery. I ended up getting the surgery finally, and things were rough. Doing a bit better now though.

- I put off talking to my boss about a mistake I made. Things turned out alright but man, scary.

- I put off doing work for my masters program until the last second. Ended up contacting the professor and was able to sort out the late work.

I mean I can go on and on. It is never me avoiding the 'easy' things though. I am definitely not a lazy person. I oftentimes put the important things off by doing other things instead. Like today instead of doing homework, I found myself cleaning the crevices in our kitchen floor. Like what? But yeah, I don't think I would call myself lazy or unmotivated. I just get super anxious about these critical tasks, I guess I would call it, which makes me mega-procrastinate on them.

I feel like seeing this part of me makes me uncomfortable because I have to admit that I get scared of a lot more than I care to admit to.

But what would you guys suggest? I am open to any and all suggestions. Genuinely looking to grow here. Thanks in advance :)

Anything I can do about this cracked shoulder?

Got this 3ds, been using it on and off for 2 years now. I've had this crack the whole time and was wondering if there was anything I could do about it. Or should I just leave it alone?

How do you guys curate your collection?

I have been buying physical switch1/2 games for the past 8 years. But I don't keep every game that I play, and have resold a few of them that I either didnt finish or didnt like.

Every so often there comes a game that I finished, enjoyed my time with, but will honestly never replay for whatever reason. Like a 6-7/10. Maybe it was too repetitive, had sections that were tedious, whatever. Do you keep those? Do you resell those? How do you maintain your collection?

I'm trying to find a balance between just owning everything and owning my unique collection :)

is microsoft's acquisition of bethesda the reason why TES6 is taking so long?

i am super ignorant about this whole thing, and I know skyrim was 9 years old by the time bethesda got bought out.

But now its nearing 15 years. I am just wondering if microsoft buying bethesda made the devs feel complacent to a certain degree? like they could now take their time even more?

After usb-c, the best tech advancement for everyday life is "call filtering"

Usb c becoming ubiquitous was amazing. Cable management became a thing of the past mostly, and clutter was simplified. Great stuff and probably the most understated advancement in everyday life that we got in recent years.

But after that, I think the award goes to call filtering. Spam calls have been getting worse and worse each year to the point where I didn't even have my calls on vibrate at times. But now the machine asks the caller to say their name, and I guess spam calls can't do that yet lol, so the call just drops and bam. Its like they dont even exist. Such a quiet improvement!!

What's your favorite everyday life improvement from recent years?

How can anyone beat that Spain team?

They utterly demolished every team they played against. I guess except for Cabo Verde haha.

But really, it seems like a 'standard' team with some active forwards is not really enough to make a dent in their possession. What can a team do in these next 4 years to actually give Spain a challenge next time around? Is there a type of team that is Possession-based playstyle's weakness? Or does another team have to out-posession them?

Also, is there anywhere like a youtube channel or something that can talk more in depth about these topics?

How are we thinking s2's anime will be?

I enjoyed s1, but I'd be lying if I said it was animated well. Many of the scenes just lacked the impact of their manga equivalents.

What are we thinking about s2? I watched the trailer and dint really come away as impressed...

Any place to watch the World Cup in the park?

So, maybe a dumb question. I know the whole point of being in the outdoors is to disconnect. But this was the only time I could visit, and I also don't want to miss the games this weekend!

What are my options?

World cup made me think...!

I was talking to my wife the other day about how many muslim players are on all the teams. Not just the 'muslim countries', but teams like England, France, Spain! It's really amazing subhanallah how we are gaining more and more recognition.

About 2 billion muslims exist on earth, and our total population is around... 8 billion. So there's a 25% chance of anyone being born muslim. Just so crazy and amazing to see this statistically, and then to see it on the world stage.

can someone explain yellow cards in the world cup

i thought it was essentially a warning, 2 warnings and you get a red.

but im noticing that you can carry over yellow cards from one game to the next.

so do they ever reset? when?

Question about Long Legs/Arms (Ep 10 spoilers)

In Episode 10, when Granny spilled the beans on Yuru being the true master of Left and Right, why did Yuru have them chase him down? I feel like it did absolutely nothing and they could have just fought Long Legs/Arms right there.

This game is much better than I thought based off reviews

I get the criticism, and I share a lot of it too. Faie talking, enemy variety, world map design, etc. But I do feel that a lot of it was overblown. None of it is a massive detriment to the game.

- Putting Faie on reticent mode basically made her not annoying at all. I think she does state the obvious more than needed, but you would think she literally never shuts uo based on comments you see online.

EDIT: YOU CAN TURN HER OFF NOW!!!

- The game isnt long enough to really necessitate 4 entire map designs. Once you explore one region you usually end up fast traveling from point to point, so I thought it was fine that the overlay is the same.

- Enemy variety does get a bit old, but its nice that each region has their own beast tribes. I think if they just fleshed out the bestiary a bit more, itd keep things more fresh.

l dunno, just a reminder I guess that the internet often has the vocal minority.
