How it feels waking up at 4 AM to study for 8 AM exam
How mfs genuinely felt discovering ChatGPT in 2022:
Jealousy can kill your confidence.
Jealousy is one of the quickest ways to kill your confidence because it constantly broadcasts your deepest insecurities to everyone around you.
When you’re constantly suspicious, defensive, or comparing yourself to other guys, you create an anxious energy that naturally repels the people you want to connect with. It traps you in a scarcity mindset, making you overthink scenarios in your head instead of staying present in your real life.
The reality is that true self-assurance comes from knowing your own worth, completely detached from whether someone else stays or leaves. Overcoming this isn't about controlling the actions of others, but about becoming the kind of man who simply doesn't feel the need to.
Whenever you catch yourself comparing, use that feeling as a compass to highlight what you need to improve, whether that’s hitting the gym, building new skills, or setting clearer personal goals.
When you shift your energy away from paranoia and invest directly into your own growth, you naturally cultivate an abundance mindset that attracts the right people into your life.
I tried greeting my roommate but it didn't go well.
I recently moved into the dorms on the other side of the country to study. Upon moving in, I greeted my roommate once he entered the room, walked up to him and said, "Hey, how are you doing?" I was just trying to introduce myself naturally and strike up a conversation.
But his response was definitely off. He told me, "Worry about yourself," and then proceeded to ignore me afterward.
I don't know if there was something wrong with how I approached him, but I was just trying to get along with my roommate since we're in the same room. Did I make a mistake?
Honestly, I am not sure now how I am going to respond to that. Has anyone else had a bad first interaction with their roommate that went this badly?
ChatGPT pretending to be an Indian scammer is HILARIOUS lmao
I post weird foot pictures online for strangers
I know foot pics aren't weird in general but I have weirdly deformed feet that for some reason people pay for online. I was looking for side hustles I could do that were low effort and doesn't involve me showing more skin than necessary like OF since I'm a student currently. Kept hearing about feet finder and stuff on social media but I thought it was mostly for people with beautiful feet but tried it anyway. Surprise, there were people into weird feet. I ventured in other platforms like instafeet and footlove and earned a few hefty cash. My feet wasn't that well taken care of before but since I've gotten this side hustle I've started treating it like my hands lol, I'm actually wondering if there are people that have hand fetishes since I think my hands look way better than my feet(albeit not very straight when I compare it with hand models)
Classroom Election Horror
I'm 22F now and this happened when I was in grade 4 and I always get reminded of this whenever classroom elections come around. I was nominated for some position as a joke by a classmate I think and I was the only voter. My name- 1, was what was on the board. At the time it was mandatory for the nominee and the one that nominated the person to raise their hand when it came for voting. I was the only one who raised my hand and i wanted to cry at that time because I went against a social butterfly and the rest of my classmates had their hands raised- even the one that nominated me. The amount of times I've been nominated for positions I didn't want only to constantly only have no votes has mentally scarred me. This is my last year in uni and I again got nominated- the results were slightly better, I had like 20 or so and the 10 others all had 30s and 40s. Anyways, I will never ever run for anything after this- will also object if I ever do get nominated.
How have you dealt to officially marking the end of you school life?
Graduating nako and I'm so freaking scared of what's to come next. Do you have any advice or any possible tips you've learned throughout adulting you can share?
First Time Ko to experience other peoples ignorance towards us
For context, I'm Igorot and we just came back from our affiliation in Manila and we experienced how ignorant some people from the city can be. Our instructor legit bought like a sht ton of longan and expected us to eat all of it while saying "Kainin nyo mga to, pagkain ng mayayaman. Siguradong Hindi nyo pa to natitikman sa Lugar nyo" and we were like wtf? Madaming available na ganyan samin pero it never caught on Kasi it tasted like dirt😭we have other fruits available at our disposal kaya never namin pagtsatsagaan Yan. Apart from my own experience Meron pa ung nagyari sa ibang groups by a different instructor. Tinanong Sila kung taga saan Sila and they said igorot and then that instructor said "ah, kayo ung mababalahibo" like again- wtaf? And then another thing that happened with yet again another group and another instructor was when all the schools were to present something about their culture and they decided to do our cultural dance pero one of the members decided to stop after a few minutes Kasi a few of the instructors were laughing at them and the dance na I watched them practice in our room with the limited space for the whole week😭 siguro if we said we was from Baguio instead we might not have experienced these ones Kasi they're a city and not a province. Anyway, thankyou for coming to my tedtalk and might delete this later baka Makita ng school namin and Sabihin we're making these things a bigger issue when they aren't hahahah
