Where can I find a good financial advisor in Winnipeg?

I am about to receive around 400k in cash, I am very very experienced in investing but I want to make sure I am doing everything right in order to retire by the time I'm 50, I am currently 31. TFSA is already maxed, I want to see if maxing my RRSP next makes sense or go non reg

Fractional Shares for Canadian Stocks, Reoccurring buy??? 5 year wait so far

This company is so far behind the times, only supports this feature for US stocks at the moment, why would a company only support this for US stocks when its Canadian. I want to make it easy for my wife to invest, but sadly it is not.

Wake up Questrade

Has anyone used the prepaid Mastercard to take out USD in the states?

Is it cheaper than going to my bank here before hand to get cash in Canada?

My TFSA is MAXED OUT. Do I max out my RRSP now?

Here’s what you need to know:

I have a DB pension.
TFSA is maxed.
I have 42k of RRSP contribution room left.
I have 210k cash from selling my home 2 weeks ago, I bought another with my girlfriend.
I want to retire by 55 at the latest, maybe even 50, so I may need to bridge income before taking my pension. I only started my current job in 2022, so by 55 I’d only have around 26 years of service. I likely won’t qualify for a full pension unless I defer taking it.
I’m 31 years old.
I have a maxed RDSP.

My salary increases about 3% per year.
I think that’s about it. I have a large chunk of cash now and I’m trying to figure out the best move. My thinking is: if I invest into my RRSP now, the money gets 20+ years of tax-sheltered compounding instead of waiting for higher-income years later.
I’m looking for some solid advice here.

TFSA maxed. Do I max my RRSP now?

To start I only invest in XEQT in both the accounts. Here’s what you need to know:

I have a db pension
TFSA is maxed
42k contribution room left
210k cash - sold home 2 weeks ago to buy another with my girlfriend.
I want to retire latest 55 maybe 50, so I may need to bridge before I take out my pension because I only started at my current job 3 years ago - 2022 - so that’s only 26 ish years, won’t qualify for full pension unless I defer taking it?
I’m 31 years old.
I have a maxed RDSP
3% salary increase per year

I think that’s about it, I have a large chunk of change now and don’t know what’s best, if I invest it all into RRSP now my compounding over 24 years until retirement will be juicy then waiting for higher income years, right?

Idk, looking for some solid advice here

Give us reoccurring buys and fractional shares!!! Are any mods on this forum?

Does customer service even listen to any of us? Can someone from Questrade chime in? When will be seeing this. I’ve been hearing this for almost 5 years now. It’s 2026 it shouldn’t be this hard for a company to figure this out!

I have been hearing nothing but bad things about this company lately, if it wasn’t for the promo bonus, I’d be long gone.

GIVE US SOME INFORMATION QUESTRADE WHEN WILL WE SEE THIS FOR OUR ACCOUNTS!

Meta, I’m going to half port my portfolio. Dumb idea?

Like seriously, with a forward PE of 18 how can this not going up in the long term?

I’m only 31 years old I have tons of time to wait, is this a bad idea honestly?

I have to head to the cabin in south east Manitoba and cut some fire wood. I have always been paranoid of lyme disease

How does this company not have reoccurring buys and fractional shares? I’m trying to set my wife up with an account and make it easy for her so he doesn’t have to manually invest every 2 weeks… but you can’t set automatic buying schedules????

It’s 2026 how the hell is this not a feature blows my mind, almost every single other broker has this? Am I missing something here

Can’t tell if I should spend the money on the Traeger that has wifi built in, or get by with the wifi thermostat from Amazon?

This is a question for anyone who’s actively looking for a house right now, how are prices, offers, and overall market conditions?

I was looking a lot over the winter and just recently started again, and it feels like everything is super overpriced. I’m wondering if that’s just because it’s the spring market compared to the homes I was seeing in the winter.

I love Gondola pizza but this isn’t even a deal, is this some sort of joke?

Last 3 months they had a 15” 3 topping for only $19.99…. Which was way better than this crappy deal. Kind of insulting

Times are tough and this pizza is already expensive. Bring back the old deal!!!!!!
