Why are there 2 blacks to the switch and 60 volts on one and 6 volts on the other? Do I just wire it the same with new switch?

How should I end my ceiling paint from one room to the other so I can restart at a later time?
I will be painting all ceilings the same color and same paint in room 1 and 2. I will be ready to paint room 1 (window room) soon when I finish the drywalling. I want to finish room 1 first with all the paint and drywall and everything because currently I have all my furniture in room 2 (the room I'm standing in taking the picture) so then I can move everything in room 1 when its finished and it will be out of my way when I paint room 2 ceiling. The transition at the red line is where I want to end the paint temporarily while I finish everything, then I will blend in there when I paint room 2.
Whats the best way to temporarily end the paint at the red line so later on I can continue painting room 2 with the same paint without any noticeable seams, lines or transitions? Do I just feather the paint out with the roller very lightly past the stairs? Then heavily sand the feathered area later to try and reduce any ridges when I'm ready to paint the rest of the ceiling?
Is it fine for an outside corner to have a small gap like this? Using paper corner bead with the metal corner
This is a chair by the way... You can try to imagine how his body is fitting on it lmao 😂😇💤
I think I may have made a mistake potting these two varieties together because I want to remove the snow queen eventually.
So my end plan is I want to have a pure large snow queen pothos pot with a bunch of cuttings from this plant. I temporarily put the snow queen cutting with a bunch of regular golden pothos cuttings to fill the pot and I just had a bunch of extra golden pothos props. I was thinking in the future once it gets a bit more established and has a nice bunch of leaves I would repot and remove the snow queen.
I'm now thinking this is probably a mistake. The roots will get all tangled and I'm worried I won't be able to single out the snow queens roots. Also since it's in the middle it will rapidly get crowded and competing for the light with all the golden pothos growing much faster and be harder to get the roots out in one piece in the middle. I just potted these a month or two ago so I don't want to repot again and take it out. The roots were very fragile and small.
Do you think in let's say 1 year I would have a problem taking the snow queen and it's roots out by itself?
Are these two different types of dwarf Umbrella tree variegations/plants? Or the same thing? Can either of them change into the other?
The variegation looks different on each one. Are they the same plant just different styles of varigation? First one has yellow in middles, second one has yellow on edges. Will the first one ever look like the second one and vise versa? Or first will always have yellow in middle and second will always have yellow on edges?
Do you think if both of these were planted in the same pot it would look weird having two different variegations?
Is it worth buying this variegated zz plant off FB marketplace for $35 CAD? Its really leggy, but pretty big.
Are variegated zz's rare? This seems like a good deal but its super leggy and sparce. I was thinking I could chop into a much smaller compact plant. 35 CAD pretty good, comes with pot too, but I dont like it.
Holy I just found another 4 more pups on my plant! Total 8 now all growing at the same time!
Yes I know its all dusty, I'm doing a reno and sanding so I will clean it soon.
I can't believe it's growing so amazing. I did not expect this explosive growth. I thought maybe a couple pups a year or something would be cool. I originally found the first one, then the second and third and I was going crazy, but EIGHT in one summer wtf.... This pot going to be exploding when they all develop. The leaves are massive too on the oldest new pup. Like 2 or 3x as big as the old leaves (check pic 3)
Repot time will likely involve me destroying the pot. I only like direct potting though, hate nursery pots.

Fridge leaking on the inside. Freezer not leaking. Need to fix because floor is unfinished (replacing floor)
I noticed it was leaking significantly the plywood subfloor was getting a bit wet and at the bottom of the fridge under the drawers there was a small pool of water. I don't see any moisture from any components under the fridge or behind it. It seems to be only coming from the top cooler part.
I need to get it fixed so it doesn't keep wetting the plywood. I will say it's been a heat wave so I assume that is causing issues, but it's not that warm today and it's still leaking. My fridge is set to normal level and it's not very cold. How can I fix this? I'm handy and have tools. I will also turn off the fridge and clean under around the compressor and fan.
The freezer doesn't have any ice or frost in there. Seems to only be coming from inside the fridge
First pup on my Aglaonema! So excited! Is it one pup or two right beside eachother!?
I removed a little soil in the second pic to look closer and I noticed a bunch of new nice white roots near the pups! I'm really excited. Is this TWO NEW AGLAONEMAS? Or is it just one?
If it is 2, how is it growing 2 right beside eachother!? Wow that is going to be very compact area if its two!
Why does my Aglaonema golden Madonna often get these vertical ripples and curl?
I've been trying to make this plant happy for a long time but the leaves just don't want to fully open up flat and look smooth. A lot have these straight vertical ripples, a lot curl slightly, some of the older leaves are quite curled and never want to uncurl. I don't over or under water, it barely gets a few hours or direct morning sun but then it's out of direct light, humidity is currently 53% rH, soil is very chunky mix, I fertilize every watering, it's under a skylight window but out of the direct rays, it is shooting out new leaves one after the other, it had 3 flowers which I cut off, it has no pests I've looked at ever leaf closely and spray it with neem and iso alcohol treatments. The third picture is a new leaf and it has one vertical ripple on the right side and slightly curling.
I just came across a random facebook short that helped me try parasympathetic breathing, then I tried a little meditation session with eyes closed, calming didgeridoo music and intentional breathing and it was amazing!
First time ive ever meditated or tried doing this type of breathing and it was great. I feel like I have a lot of stress and it affects me pretty heavily so I'm trying to reduce it when and where I can. I watched this quick facebook short that showed how to breath slowly and I felt something instantly, so then I put on my headphones with didgeridoo music because I read its calming and I was breathing deeply through nose and out through mouth like blowing through a straw, slowly. I was just sitting in my office chair slightly reclined, arms relaxed in lap. I felt insanely relaxed and stress free. I removed all thoughts and worries out of my mind. Focused on just looking into the darkness and my breathing. I was thinking of nothing and felt no external pressures or weight. It was really good. When I stopped I felt like my body just reset completely. Now I want to do that for a bit daily! I'm going to try a few different types of music too. I really like piano and water sounds, harp music, and hand pan music.
I also kinda do this when I cant sleep as well. I will count in my head very slow "1 mississippi, 2 mississippi, 3 mississippi... etc" while slowly breathing and focusing on breath and counting and it always works to help me remove all thoughts and brain racing and I fall asleep.
Two watering questions: Do you guys repot with the old soil wet or dry? What bottom watering containers do you use to bottom water?
- Lets say you have a struggling plant and you want to get rid of all the old crappy soil right down to the roots with no soil left, do you water the plant BEFORE you repot so the soil is moist or do you repot when the soil completely dries out? Which is easier to remove all the soil around the roots and separate the roots?
- When you are bottom water a plant, what containers are you guys using to put your plants in that are the right size to not have to put tons of water in and are tall enough for a deep bottom water? My pots all have drainage holes and sometimes I dont have a container the right size to fit my plants in to fill with water.
Thanks
Im trying to drywall this section but the crown is in the way. How can I make a nice cut on the crown without pulling it off?
Picture: https://imgur.com/a/46IhHMe
I want to cut the crown moulding where the red line is so I can fit a nice piece of drywall on the parts that aren't drywalled but that little piece of crown is kinda making it annoying. It's a long piece that goes down the wall like 14 feet. I'd prefer to not pull it off because it's been a pain in the ass getting it off. Should I just try to mark it and cut it with multi tool and then do some finishing touches and wood filler when I put a new piece of crown to butt up against it?
Help please! Just got a new exterior door installed, door latch rubs on interior build outs. Should I get them to fix it or deal with it? I don't think they have room to make a bigger reveal.

So from my quick research this is a mistake and there are multiple ways to avoid it, however my house is 120 years old and the walls are very thick due to multiple renovations stacking, but I still think this could have been avoided. From what I read the door should have been ordered thicker to fit better, and the reveals could have been larger on the build outs so the latch doesnt touch them. Obviously changing the door is out of the question, but Im wondering if I should get them to redo the build outs and push them out farther to avoid the latch. I feel like I will be an annoying customer cuz its just a small cosmetic thing, but its annoying me how its not done right and I shouldnt have to deal with having a black streak across my door. I brought it up to the contractor the second I saw a black streak after the install and asked if there was any way to avoid it and he said not really since its such thick walls, but he said I can just get a strike plate. Also they dont sell that large strike plates, and I wouldn't want a 4.5 inch damn strike plate sticking out, thats just as ugly.
The problem is it doesnt look like there is much room to push the build outs farther out for a bigger reveal. If you look at the bottom of the door in the second picture, its basically touching the framing already, and the third picture on the hinge side its pretty tight to the framing there too I believe. They put in the little wall with the insulation because I didn't end up going with a sidelight which was installed previously. Do I just have to get them to redo some of the framing and cut back the insulation as well?
And yes I know there isn't enough room for trim on the hinge side. I'm going to be altering the interior drywall corner to push it back to fit the trim.

Just got a door installed. Installation was all pretty good until the last part... caulk. The guy did a bad caulk job. Would I be able to caulk over his caulk to make it nicer?
He caulked the door exterior and interior and it was pretty bad, some small gaps in the interior, and the exterior is not nice and smooth. He only caulked the door joints thankfully I took on the job to trim the door and I will be caulking the trim. Could I recaulk over his caulk to clean it up and make it look nicer and smoother? I wouldn't even want him to come back to touch it up he just doesn't seem good at caulking. His framing and install was great though.
Should I try to remove the caulk before it fully cures? It was just applied not too long ago and I think its still a little soft.
