Movie "Toys" (1992) - A Day-Glo Fever Dream

There is something deeply unsettling about the aesthetic of Toys (1992). While it’s often remembered for Robin Williams’ whimsical energy, the visual landscape of the film feels like a precursor to the modern Liminal Space aesthetic.

Is running a local LLM offline on GrapheneOS actually viable?

I am currently considering running a large language model completely offline and locally on my Google Pixel 10a running GrapheneOS. My primary goal is absolute privacy, which is why I intend to keep the network permissions for the app permanently revoked. However, I am wondering if this is a practical path or just a technical experiment that isn't quite "there" yet. With the Tensor G5 and [8GB/12GB] of RAM, the hardware seems capable on paper, but I’m concerned about the real-world trade-offs.

I would love to hear from anyone with experience on this setup: Is the inference speed on the Pixel 10a actually usable for daily tasks, or does the device become a "hand warmer" that drains the battery in an hour?

Is it possible to run Termux in a Secondary User Profile on GrapheneOS?

Hi everyone, I am trying to get Termux running in a Secondary User Profile on GrapheneOS for security reasons, but I keep hitting a wall and would like to know if it is even possible. I have already tried two different approaches: first, I installed Termux in the Main Profile and shared it with the Secondary User, which resulted in the "unable to install bootstrap" error. After that, I tried a clean install by downloading the APK from the official GitHub repository directly within the Secondary Profile, making sure to grant Files and Media permissions and enabling "Install unknown apps" for Termux. Despite these steps, I still receive the same error message or an indication that Termux only works for the primary user. Does anyone have a tip on how to fix this, or should I give up on the idea of using Termux in a secondary profile?
