When I was a kid I actually became a coon because I watched media filled with white people so I wanted to think of myself as white so I can identify with them

I of course grew out of this but apart of it still lingers like the fact that when I see superman a pillar of hope and shows himself to the world and when I picture a separate character that happens to be black I sorta don't see them being a pillar of the world

if you race swapped Clark Kent you can't get away with it because on a subconscious level everyone will say that isn't Clark and that it was unnecessary if every other media with Clark Kent has a white male

​

So companies feel better doing it to characters that don't stick in your subconscious like Jimmy Olsen nobody cares about Jimmy Olsen or Jim Gordon and thats the problem if I didn't care about them when they were white a race change won't fix it and it could make things worse since now people will view it as a black guy always being the side character and what's worse in this example is that in adventures with superman all the cool factor of Lois and Jimmy are stripped they don't even wear the comic accurate clothes

Instead of focusing time on developing a character that people will like they decide to pander and mfs eat it up and they call it diversity

Also it's kinda funny the ginger guy was swapped into a black guy

Like Greta thunder playing lex Luther has so much potential

I think he should play either darkside or Steve Lombard a guy tht bullies Clark at the daily planet

Say what you want about synders films but So many words spoken from darkside and superman just from one staredown and great characterization

It's the perfect ending but it's a good way to close off the trilogy with a complete superman

This scene feels a little to good like it should've been saved for justice league 3 when dakrisde is beat and has to go back home maybe he mightve seemed like a bitch who knows

But overall perfect way for superman and darkside first live action meeting

He has no limits meaning the rules of the universe don't apply to him but there are also times he manipulates the universe

Like breaking into phoenix man mental domain with his physical body like how did he even see that or him being the hand that defies God you know the guy that's set limits on the entire multiverse

Saitama could also have this power that's why God didn't even bother giving him a cube because he can't manipulate another god

But saitama dosent know this and keeping him in this obvious mindset i think that's why God made saitama do more feats or fight more monsters so he only thinks it's strength and lives in boredom

There's a bonus chapter where a cat scratches him and he gets hurt because he fled back into human instincts and deposed himself that's why he grew slowly but then grew insanely fast even if his emotions would be calming down

We know saitama is symbolic for the sun in occult symbolsim for the story and it usually means awareness while the moon is unconscious but it's the opposite for one punch man so what if saitama will realize something god dosent and that's how he beats him

So if goku speed blitzes saitama and hurts him saitama will still think he can hurt goku and it will be a equal fight till saitamas subconscious takes over and wins

I'm a synder apologist and think they both have potential but they still don't live up to the comics

A Lego cinematic universe would drive kid me crazy like Lego connceted games show movies tie in comcis all with loveable goofy charm

But from what would you think a Lego superman movie should be and it has to be just as reflective on supermans as Lego batman was

All the movies go out of thier way to show how troubled supeeman is and he can have that but in a story like all star superman we can tell he has a emotinal core he sticks to and feels like he can bounce back from anything and just the way he talks to others

I saw this one tiktok stateing how superman would realsticly be more chill since most things cant hurt him and to make him be raised by hippies and base his x ray visoins off shrooms its a very out there idea but i like the idea or the place it comes from

Superman in 2025 is very troubled and the whole film is about estbalshing that emtoinal core (idk why they made him superman for 3 years) but i can get behind it

Personally i think the perfect superman is a one with a superboy show

This takes the whole dont retell the orgin story stuff a little to far

I remeber watching this with my family and they either thought it was meh or ok because the general aduince dosent have that much of a grasp on batmans orgin even if they do know a little a small flashback woukd be nice so we take him and the relationship with his father more sersoiuly like a flash back of his father teaching him good morales

Or the fact that i dont care about alfred he has a few scenes and then he almost dies but dosent and isnt really a likeable hes just the butler or catwoman being a little goofy

Im not saying its a bad film i just feel its a film that makes you look deep a little to deep without giveing the legwork you need to do it and what helps you do that is being a batman fan

Also i hate how bloated superman 2025 was and the team dynamic wasant paid off well and felt like it was more focused on cheap vibes instaed of a superman inspires hope like ive actaully seen normies praise this film for feeling good to watch or feeling like a comic but if you look deeper it isnt

Also i watched the 2 garduin films and superman and the way he handles villans are so annoying and are useally wasted potential

I feel like if you want to make the justice leauge succed the avengers you gotta have a film with alot of heart

And give a director thats fit to make that

I think it fits the synderverse or smallville because that superman was all about forming a new age of heros so seeing them have to fight it would be cool idk about the dcu tho but i feel like a crisis reboot should be there

I have dammned myself to look at movies from a anayltcial lens to "enjoy the movie more" and i try to look at both sides of a opoinoin in a industry where art is activley being pushed back against by billonaire corpuratoins

This has lead me to see everybody love anything that comes while i sit miserable because theres always a blatant flaw that ruins a film

Some have been soild but most are goyslop you turn your brain off for and yeah that could kill cinmea if we all turned off our brains but companies will make goy slop no matter what theyve already burned childrens entartnmaient to the ground now any other tyoe is barley surviveing it even happens in others countrues at the exact same time as us
