Take Ash out of the equation, who can still work as friends without him? Other than the SM crew I'd go with the OG trio. And personally I think the XY team has the least chemistry.

I just beat the fire gym past that forest and got surf. Iirc an NPC told me to surf Northeast out of the forest to get to where I need to go but it was just a dead end. I left the forest because I assume it's time to move to East Tandor but no npc or character has said anything about it? Please help

Just beat the 4th gym, struggled a bit. Also found out I can't evolve Cometeor, so he's the one I want to replace the most. The only mons I think I want to keep in the long run is Metalynx and Terlard.

Did they make this game for people who think "grinding" in Pokemon is fun? That's probably my only gripe with this game so far. And Tubjaw. I hate Tubjaw

Literally is one of the smartest students in 1A, and has an actual useful quirk which is extremely versatile in the hands of someone like Mineta who has a high battle IQ. He had one of the better feats against a teacher during the exam, literally beating Midnight BY HIMSELF (I'm aware she was holding back though) and had them genuinely surprised.

Yeah his motivation for wanting to be a hero is... questionable, and is mostly an annoying comedic relief but I don't wanna sit here and let people slander him or act like he's a complete bum when there's people like KODA in the same class as him.
