I have a 20+ year old SX standard series bass I’m redoing and was curious if it would be worth using the original pickups or if something like Squier would be an upgrade?

What p-bass style pickups would you all recommend for a 70s style tone?

I recently bought an older model SX Standard Series P-bass. Are there any p-bass sized pickups that sound close to a 70’s fender jazz bass? Alternatively, is there a pickguard for jazz sized pickups that would fit this bass? Thanks!

I purchased a guitar about 5 or so weeks ago that has been lost in transit during the heat wave. It was returned to sender after five weeks and they are saying it does not need to be removed from the shipping box as it was wrapped in plastic wrap. I am asking them to remove the guitar and evaluate it before resending. Is this asking too much or does it seem reasonable? It bounced around the country for five weeks and I just want to make sure it is okay before they resend. Thoughts?

I have an art print and recently got a frame for it that is the correct size (doesn’t fit a mat) but know it is usually unsafe for the print to be in direct contact with the acrylic. Is there a way I can space the acrylic from the print without a mat? I want to be able to view the entire print but cannot afford a new frame.

I hope you’re well. I have an 18x24 hand numbered poster print from a concert. It cost around $50 but is limited edition and will become more valuable over time. I was curious if this is something that could be UV laminated or if uv acrylic/glass would be better? I know these services can be quite expensive but would prefer to not pay as much as I spent on the print on the UV protection.

When building chords from a scale say you have the C Major scale

I know 1,3, 5 all become Major chords, and 2,4,6 become Minor- but what is 7 (B,D,F) would that be diminished?

Is it ALWAYS a diminished chord even if it’s a different scale or minor instead of Major?
