Seniors! I wanted to ask that here at SIT, I see that majority students who are getting placed are not getting full time offers instead they are provided with the internship and if they perform well then only converted to full time...So this is general thing at every college or this is its downside?

Secondly I wanted to ask that students who got internship offers and then are not able to get placed there in that company then what happens to that students, do they get options to sit in other companies in 4th year???...sample I have added in pic about what I am asking...(I got this from one of the member of this sub only)

Seniors just wanted to know one thing that colleges having companies visiting with first internship and then full time conversion offers and not directly full time offers are considered a bad sign?? Or it's like every good companies do this only and mass recruiters only hire directly for full time??

I am very confused regarding should I take IEM branch at RVCE or CSE at SIT, JSS and all...like it's college vs branch!!...don't tell me that choose in which your intrest is there bcz I feel if I choose a better brand name then it will help and I can prepare for cse on my own...

Same as title

From few days I am seeing posts like students who secured good ranks in jee have chosen lower branches, So many people were commenting that they are interested in it and all that..But my question is if someone has not studied the course of the branch then How can He/she get to know her interest?

Let say I am very much Interested in using AI and ML projects looks cool to me...but when I am introduced to the maths required in ML and I am not able to cope up with that then naturally my interest will fade away..So what I choose as my intrest fails here...

So my question is that how can someone tell what is his/her interest until they are not introduced to them...If someone likes building architectures but fails to cope up with course and logics He/she is will never get any interest in it...or after studying it's course they are not getting any interest so??..it's more like they are in love with the idea but how can someone tell whether they will be in love with the execution phase withoout having exposure of that??

What I feel is its all destiny like let say in few years cse will go down and ECE will be the new cse then the good student who has taken cse as it's Branch will not get what he deserved...So in my opinion no one can predict the market...

It's always the hardwork and discipline...like no matter what, if We have chosen something then accept it as our fait and do best out of it...

Am I correct here?? Plz do tell your thoughts seniors?
