Favourite Buckethead Albums?

Just thought I'd ask what people's favourite Buckethead albums are, as there's so many to go through I often wonder if I'm missing an absolute hidden gem. 'Course it's all subjective but I wonder if a few might come out on top?

Boomtown Noise

Anybody else being kept awake by the volume of the Wilkinson set at Boomtown tonight/this morning? Literally not a quiet room in the whole house, it's driving me mad.

**EDIT: For those of you going home from Boomtown today and desperately searching for some way to stabilise your brain, this is not an anti-Boomtown post! I love festivals! Genuinely, go out there and have so much fun (life is gonna get hard, enjoy it while you're young!). This is a local discussion about one set from Friday. He doesn't need you to defend him, he's a big boy. Hope you were sensible enough to book off work tomorrow but if not then: protein, fats, lucozade. Lots of em.

Local Selling Alternatives?

Have been trying to shift some old clutter lately and thought I'd put them on Gumtree as the local one looks quite active but not having much luck, I wondered if there's alternatives that people use (other than Facebook Marketplace, I don't use Facebook) that might have passed me by?

Thanks so much!

Anybody Else Still Suffering?

I don't want to be a downer or anything, I'm just interested to know if anybody else's life got derailed by their hyperparathyroidism, and what helped them get back on track?

I had surgery a few years ago and it's taken a long time for my body to physically and mentally recover. I still have some health problems and it's created new ones (I'm now firmly in early onset menopause due to this disease).

But it took a long time to get diagnosed. Me and my GP figured maybe up to 10 years of not being heard before I started treatment under him. I lost my job. I lost my friends. I lost my home. I had to move city to live with family just to keep a roof over my head. I could barely walk by the time I finally got diagnosed. I saw a number of different doctors who told me a range of completely useless advice from "drink more water" (chronic dry mouth) to "try breathing exercises" (severe memory issues and anxiety etc etc etc).

I've never been able to pick up my life again to what it was. I mourn a life I never got to live. I wish I could have stood up for myself when I first got ill and pushed for a diagnosis when I knew something was wrong, and it could have been a little detour in my life. Instead it turned it in a completely different direction and I can't seem to find the road back again.

Has anybody else been in the same position and picked themselves back up? Did anybody else even feel this or is this just a me problem?

Appreciate any advice or just knowing others have been in same boat. Thanks.

NYX Setting Powder Replacement

Hey lovelies,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend an affordable replacement for the NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Setting Powder now that it's been discontinued? I used to use it in both translucent and tinted but I've nearly run out.

Tried replacing with the elf setting powder but find it's not a good colour match for me and it's a little heavier in the formula too. I like a loose powder as it seems to be less drying and doesn't clump.

Any recs welcome! Thank you!

Best Products to Undo Damage From Protein-Rich Products?

Hello!

I'm looking for some recs for inexpensive options for hair that has had a bit too much of the protein-rich products used on it lately and is feeling a bit dry and rough. Does it need clarifying or would that be a bad option and create further damage? Are there some good but cheap moisturising conditioners either leave in or deep condition for use after shampoo that would help rectify the hair softness?

Thanks so much!

Power Washing - Cheap Alternatives?

Hello,

I have a very mossy pitted tarmac area in front of the house that desperately needs tidying up. Unfortunately a power washer is well out of my budget, and I thought I could get good results from Jeyes Outdoor Fluid so splashed out on some of that and a stiff brush but it hasn't had any effect.

Does anybody know of any cheap alternatives that actually *do* work, or an incredibly cheap power washer that has some proper kick to it? I looked at hire costs but they're expensive too so that's a no go.

Thank you!

Help Finding Alex Horne & Greg Davies Interview Snippet

Hello lovelies,

I had a recommended video pop up on YouTube a couple weeks ago and the preview of it was Alex Horne and Greg Davies being interviewed and talking about a time when the cast came to their changing rooms and said that Greg had been a bit too harsh on one of the cast and they all agreed to tone it down or something? I can't find it at all and it's been idly playing on my mind what cast it was and what the whole story is? If anybody can help then I'd much appreciate it - I think it was like an hour long interview with them both which is probably why I'm struggling to find it based on this one tiny detail.

Thanks!

Looking For Recs to Replace Old E5s & E06s

Hello!

I'm hoping to just get a bit of advice, I've got a stock of E5 and E06 that I've been using for *years* now but they're obviously running to the end of their lives and I really need to just update to newer models. I know it's different tech but I've seen the Snowsky collabs seem to be doing well on the low-end (yes I'm poor, hence still using my old E5s and E06s!) but I'm not sure whether to go with the Melody, the "Tiny" models, or even the JA11 or KA11 dongles?

It's for daily use on wired headphones with an Android phone listening to FLAC and high res audio files, main priority is volume upgrade and improving sound quality as phones are atrocious solo.

Any advice is very welcome to help me figure out what from the newer tech could best match my old models sound with this set up!

Thanks.

Repotted Monsterra SlowlyTurning Yellow - Can It Be Rescued?

Hello lovelies,

I repotted my 3ft Monsterra a couple of weeks back and one by one the leaves are turning yellow. Clearly it's not happy with what I did (it was completely and utterly pot bound and definitely needed to be moved on, and the new pot is only a little bit bigger so it isn't swamped) but I'm wondering is there anything I can do to reverse this or should I leave it? I did take off 2 of those roaming upper roots they get when I moved it but I'd read that it's fine to remove them. Could be that it's going through a shock period but it might recover?

Thanks so much!

How to clip headband and cups back together on damaged OneOdio headphones

I'm posting this in the hope that somebody else might have encountered this issue on the OneOdio or any other headphones with the same set up and can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I trod on my headphones and they still work (thankfully all cables intact!) but the connector for the headband to the left cup has come unattached and I cannot figure out how to get it back in. One photo to demonstrate but I can supply more if needed. The silver bits *appear* to have a lock and unlock position based on their shape and the shape of the slot they're in but won't actually move and I don't know if it's because I've damaged them or it's part of the design that I'm not understanding!

Thank you so much if anyone can help!

How to contact ebay

Sorry to ask this here but I cannot for the life of me get in touch with eBay. A seller hasn't sent something, I cancelled after a couple of weeks. It's just come through as cancellation rejected. The seller isn't even responding to messages and they haven't posted it but I cannot get in touch with eBay anywhere other than their awful AI chat bot.

You used to be able to phone eBay to talk to a real person, is that not possible anymore? How am I supposed to resolve this they've just taken my money and given me nothing in return!

Thank you.

App Completely Broken

Has anybody else had the app completely fall on its arse the last couple of days? I can't even access my library now, the app keeps freezing and not responding and trying to close. Parts of it work but no search, no library, no music able to play except last played and even that keeps stopping and starting.

Tried all the obvious of clearing cache, stopping, restarting, etc. Just wanted to see if anybody else is experiencing issues before I contact Deezer so I can have a better idea of what I'm dealing with.

I recommend Deezer all the time but I've lost count of how many times I've come up against issues like this now and I think I'm reaching the end of my tether with it.

Thanks!

Close Word - any alternatives or tips

So this new game just popped up on a site I use for games and it's good but I'm not sure it's quite ready for use yet. A lot of hint words aren't even real words and the links to the answer are at times tenuous or just not clearly ordered (it is a list of connections or a circle?). I just wondered if anyone has seen a game similar that is maybe a bit more developed, or if they have some tips on this one!

Ta.

It's closeword.org

Unresponsive Seller

Sorry for the simple query but the advice on eBay isn't clear.

I purchased an item 10 days ago and the seller hasn't sent it and they're not replying to me either (I only contacted yesterday, not been chasing them as it's a private seller). The window for delivery is about to close, will eBay automatically cancel the order as it's not been marked as sent by the seller, or do I need to manually put a cancel request through. Some of the advice on their site suggests that I'd still have to wait for the seller to ok the cancellation from their end, despite the fact they seem unreachable or unwilling to send....?

Thanks so much for any clarity!

Just returned from the shops and checked online and I'm devastated to see that in their big rebrand John Frieda have discontinued the only product I've been using on my hair lately that had solved all my hair issues 😭 I don't know why considering it has consistent good reviews and they've not replaced it with another product. It's so tiring when companies do this!

Does anybody have a good alternative? I need a *lightweight* conditioning mist to apply to wet hair after washing and leave in. Absolutely no strong perfumes. Nothing oily. Nothing over a tenner.

Thank you so much! Appreciate any suggestions that fulfil this!

Hello,

I'm very sensitive to perfumed products and so is my skin, does anybody have any recommendations for self tanning lotions (preferably sprays) to use at home that are truly scent-free? I usually use either Garnier or Isle of Paradise but the scent is getting too much at times and it clings to my skin even after a good shower with a proper scrub!

Thanks so much!
