To the woman last night who was driving slow as hell in the fast lane on the 78, braking, speeding up, braking, speeding up, WHILE doing your makeup...
do that shit some other time please or do it in the far-right lane. Thanks.
Big hole in the ground in the Rigobertos/Stater Bros/Money Pit shopping center
This is from about an hour ago. If you pull into the shopping center via the driveway at Rigobertos, there’s a big unblocked hole in the ground so watch out of you pull in that way and go right or coming out of the drive through and go straight.
Something I have always loved about the GF mask.
How you can see the killer's eyes through the mask in the films. Obviously, it's a person in the costume and under the mask but it just gives it that extra umph to humanize the killer and make it that much scarier (to me).
Worlds of Fun Labor Day weekend (Saturday)
Coming in from out of town for Labor Day weekend and will have Saturday to myself so I got myself a day pass for Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Now I am well aware that it will be crowded and expect it to be. If you have gone solo on a holiday weekend how was your experience? Are there single rider lines or any advantage to going solo?

Movies that have the vibe of Tangerine, but not other Sean Baker films.

Santa Fe Depot San Diego
78 construction
Has it usually been starting around 830pm or closer to 9? I want to make sure I beat it tonight going East.
Very nervous flyer
I’m a very nervous flyer but not nervous enough to not fly. Sometimes I feel like I am about to pass out but keep my cool because that would be super embarrassing. When I am freaking the fuck out during takeoff and turbulence, I look around and try to find someone reading or sleeping so I realize how ridiculous I’m being lol.
San Marcos Blvd construction project starts June 15
San Marcos Blvd construction project starts June 15 | City of San Marcos, California
"Starting June 15, the City of San Marcos will be doing traffic flow and safety improvements on San Marcos Boulevard between Knights Realm and Rancho Santa Fe Road.
What to expect during construction:
- Temporary lane closures
- Traffic delays
- Please slow down in the construction zone and give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to go
June 15 – August 2026
Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Construction is planned during the summer while school is out of session, to help minimize traffic impacts.
What’s planned
- Extended left turn lanes on westbound San Marcos Boulevard to Rancho Santa Fe Road. By making the turn lanes longer, more cars can fit in the turn lanes and move out of the through lanes, helping reduce backups and improve overall traffic flow in the area.
- No left turn from eastbound San Marcos Boulevard into the shopping center. Drivers will still be able to access the shopping center from S. Rancho Santa Fe Road and westbound San Marcos Blvd. Removing this left-hand turn will help improve safety and keep traffic moving more smoothly through the corridor.
- Extended median fencing in front of the high school. This enhancement is designed to guide students to cross at the designated crosswalks at Knights Realm and Rancho Santa Fe Road, rather than mid-block. Encouraging crossings at the signalized intersections will improve safety for students and drivers alike.
The city appreciates the community’s patience as we continue making roadway safety improvements across San Marcos.

Line of cars backed up around the back of Costco
Just curious as to what they’re all backed up for? Was driving home on 78 East and right before the Nordahl overpass I’ll see a line of backed up cars dead stopped wrapping around the back of Costco. I think it’s Costco at least 😬.
Encinitas Blvd
Whoever designed this road and its 7 billon traffic signals can go straight to hell.
