So browsing this sub has been pretty boring the past few weeks, just tons and tons of projects in extremely early stages that will never get finished. The majority of them are clearly made from just prompting Claude that they want to make a runescape-like game

Can we get a ban against these types of games? They will never be completed because you can't make an MMORPG by vibe coding, all you can do is create some impressive-ish tech demos which shows a concept but it wont ever go much further than that

The other side of the coin are the web-based idle clicker games. These are functional, but they're unoriginal and soulless because they're prompted by AI. I feel like the only posts that should get posted here are when people genuinely want to recommend others of a cool game and not just a place for bots to post advertisements for their microtransaction game

Lets take a step back for a moment and just appreciate what we have here

I've played league since season 2, and ever since season 5 I started getting progressively more dissapointed with the game, and beyond season 8 is when I completely stopped playing. Ever since season 5 I wish I could just go back to season 3 and play that version of the game instead

And now we just.. have it? I can at any moment just hop on the game I remember and play it by muscle memory

There's basically no twitch streamer that actively plays classic and there's almost no content being made for YouTube, only a handful of gameplay channels. But it feels kind of... dead? Like it's not really taken off on a cultural level. It does really not feel like the WoW classic hype which is worrisome

But honestly, it's not surprising. The game launched without the full roster of champions, tons of bugs, no classic skins. Feels like riot doesn't really care and won't properly invest into the gamemode

My opinion: I wish madred's razor would get nerfed a bit. It does not need to do 300 damage on a 25% chance on such a low cost item, it needs to be lowered because this makes a lot of AP junglers essentially unviable (like fiddlesticks). Otherwise the jungle is in a really good state imo

Who the hell finds this boring? This was awesome. I wish there weren't trickets though that would make it 2x more fun but this is good enough
