Afaik it is 110V. I’m not quite sure what do I need in order to be able to plug it without frying it. I really don’t want to fuck up my microscope. Could you guys tell me what I’d need for that?

Not a particular model of something, just the broad name and specs of what I need to plug it in. So that I can look for one in the country I’m in (Brazil).

I think this game was the closest we got to things like Paradise and Roots in quite a while. I really enjoyed it, specially after how underwhelming Underground Blossom was.

But man, I really miss how uneasy the older games made me feel. Paradise is just so creepy. I feel like the newer games just don’t hit the same level of weirdness. I loved how some puzzles were borderline nonsensical in Paradise.

Speaking of puzzles, the games were never hard, but it really bothered me how the characters spelled out what you had to do all the time in SotL. I think the voice acting is really good, and I don’t wish there was less of it. I just wish the characters wouldn’t tell me what to do.

For example, there are some parts on the game **SPOILERS** that the maid wants you to do something around the house, like cleaning blood, chasing the cat or picking up laundry. I don’t feel like having her saying that was necessary at all… I would’ve loved to figure out things myself. I avoided clicking on the characters as much as possible because of that.

It got me thinking: are we ever going to have something truly like Paradise or Roots or are those changes to the games due to an expanding audience?

I feel like those things I mentioned help the game to appeal to a broader audience. If that means more Rusty Lake games, in a way fine. But I wish we’d have a new Paradise with improved technology/budget.

Sou novo na área e nunca nem fui CLT. Mas na minha primeira semana de aulas, já percebi que fazer plano de aula é muito mais demorado do que parece. Ainda mais no começo, que nem conheço os livros da escola e tenho que ficar lendo o conteúdo deles.

Até agora, ninguém da escola mencionou nada sobre isso. Falaram que queriam que eu fizesse planos de aula e colocasse na pasta do Drive de planos compartilhados. Mas essa semana fiquei pensando, tá mas eu não tô sendo pago pra fazer isso!?

Eu tô tendo uma espécie de crise de meia idade antes da hora. Fazem 6 anos que trabalho como artista, mas é tudo 100% remoto e estou endoidando com o isolamento social. Sempre tive vontade de ir pra área de educação, então procurei um emprego de prof de inglês pra ver se gosto da coisa.

Sabia que a remuneração não ia ser boa, e que não ia chegar nem perto do que dá pra ganhar por hora como artista. Mas como não sei nada de nada (nem de ser CLT, nem de ser prof) só quero ter certeza se é assim mesmo.

I scanned a QR code when dropping off the item as usual. A few days go by, and the tracking number says "item ready for pickup at [Place where I dropped it off]". I tried calling FedEX, but they told me they need me to do a security check by telling them the receiver's name and address, which I don't have.

I can't find the seller's info on eBay, since I've already used the shipping label. I know the seller is from another state, so it should not be ready for pickup in my city. I don't know what to do.

Phone came with an issue. Seller told me to try a hard reset. I know you’re not supposed to try to fix the problem if the item arrives damaged. Since the seller is instructing me to do this, would I lose eBay’s money back guarantee?

Pra um pouco de contexto, tenho 26 anos e cursei 6 semestres de 8 de letras inglês e abandonei. Trabalhei desde então como artista visual, e atualmente moro nos EUA fazem 2 anos. Estou voltando pro Brasil mês que vem, e estou buscando algum CLT pra não chegar de cara desempregado dependendo apenas de freela. Dado as circunstâncias, achei que minhas melhores chances eram os cursos de idioma. Só tenho experiência da iniciação científica da faculdade e 1 ano de freela que fiz em 2018.

Nunca fiz uma entrevista de emprego na vida, só trabalhei como autônomo. Não faço ideia do que esperar e muito menos do que responder.

A única ideia que eu tenho, é que se me perguntarem sobre minha metodologia de ensino, eu pretendo responder que apenas quero seguir a visão da escola independente da minha opinião pessoal. Li uns livros de empreendedorismo por causa do meu negócio de arte, e do meu entendimento empresas querem dar ao cliente uma experiência uniforme e previsível. Então assumo que o que procurem seja alguém que vá seguir as instruções e metodologias da empresa tal qual elas são. Isso é uma boa ideia?
