What's the go-to client for reddit right now? Since vanced patch still isn't working.

I've heard bacon reader is good, but it looks annoying to install while drunk

All app notifications no longer play a sound

I have tried every fix out there for making sure my notification sounds are on and are meant to be playing. My volume is up, all related settings have been toggled, ect. The only culprit I have left is either lineage, or Google messenger, and this problem is persisting across multiple apps.

Basically I don't get any notification sounds, they can't be heard when "preveiwing them" in the sound selector either. Both alarm sounds and phone ringer sounds play, but not notifications.

I have a feeling out of the three, (STREAM_RING, STREAM_ALARM, STREAM_NOTIFICATION)

Something is causing a failure to call STREAM_NOTIFICATIONS

This is really annoying, has anyone had a similar situation?

Where do you all get cheap wedding bands?

We both dont buy into that "months wage" garbage, we just want decent quality, sturdy bands. I've seen some redditors say etsy, others say shop mom and pop. At the most i want to spend $500 for both bands, however i would love to spend $300 if i can find something decent wedding.

Is anyone able to get "ok Google" detection to work?

Ever since I switched to lineage I can't use my voice to enable the assistant. I use it for work a lot so this is kind of important, help?

I've installed Gapps when I flashed

Can't use visual voicemail in stock dialer? The phone number in the advanced settings is not my number

Just what it says, I have photos but for some reason the mods decided not to enable them so I can't show it

I want to just go thrift a nice looking, slightly large suit and take it in to have it tailored to my size, my fiancee is horrified by the idea.

I personally don't see the issue with this. We have an idea of what style of suit i'll be wearing, and i believe i'm persistant enough to find just the perfect suit, get it tailored and save a ton of money. My fiancee has a lot of strong "gut reactions" to things that aren't traditional. But i'm fairly set on this, i think its a smart move and i don't need a brand new suit.

What are your thoughts?

Were getting rosattis for catering at our wedding. What should we do for our handful of vegan or otherwise gluten/dairy free guests?

I don't think rosattis offers these options

Is there a magnetic shielding foil that works that won't break the bank?

I'm shielding my head unit from some radiation noise and I was looking at MuMetal, but $100+ a sheet is just out of my price range right now, I see some faraday tape online, would this work? Any other suggestions?

Edit: Sorry not doing the reddit thing where people get all off topic and I answer their questions till they tell me I'm doing it wrong. I just need suggestions for faraday tape or something similar, thanks.

Another edit: post closed, I got what I need, gonna turn off notification replies, thanks everyone!

Games with the best storms?

I love nothing more than hazardous weather in video games, the long dark is pretty good with its intense blizzards that you can get lost and die in minutes, I also love no man's sky. The whole building a base in an extremely hostile environment that if you step outside for too long you're a goner.

I'm a sucker for these games, I **need** more. You guys got anything for my itch? Bonus points if it's super intense and dangerous

Since I got my head unit I hear whining whenever I accelerate. How do I wire in this power conditioner?

So when the head unit loses power or reboots, the whine goes away, so I figure the source of the whine is the head unit, or a voltage leak somewhere on the ground. The red wire is power into the head unit, the blue is audio from the unit to my speakers. First I tried putting 3&4 in between C&D, both ways, nothing happened, then in between A&B, with the ground wire out, #2, always going to G.

I dont see any change and I'm at the limit of my knowledge, help, what do I do next?
