Opened it out of curiosity and found this perfectly smooth, round sphere inside. Apparently, it's a petrified egg

My oldest son saved this spider from being killed and brought it home to me, we sat her in a tupperware box next to the wall and by night time she had herself all set up! (She?) It’s been a few days now and every time I see her I get so excited! And she’s right in the window so I can see her from inside the house too😭 I’m so happy and I hope she hangs around for as long as possible
