How soon your battery degraded for 15 PM ?

Guys, it seems 15 PM battery degraded pretty soon for me as compared to all the old models I have owned. It literally took 1.5 years to reach 80% with 1002 cycles. I am really curious about other people’s battery health and how long did you wait for a new battery replacement. I am not even a power user and had to charge the phone multiple times a day only after 1 year.

So, please share your thoughts and are there any hacks/settings you used to keep it running for long. It’s frustrating that the battery now needs replacement before 2-2.5 years.

I learnt that closing the apps like X, Reddit, FB, maps, etc does help a lot as they do drain your battery like crazy when running in the background.

What’s the review for 365 unscented WF laundry detergent?

Basically, is the product as good as attitude and branch basics and I heard branch basics doesn’t clean the clothes well. So, is the 365 unscented a great option ?

https://assets.wholefoodsmarket.com/www/products/hh-cleaning-products-ca-disclosure/laundry-detergent/SafetyDataSheet-365-2xConcentratedPowderLaundryDetergent-Unscented.pdf

I am not sure if the box says “non-toxic” but it’s not as chemically based as some of the other detergents and is more plant derived! hope this info helps :D

@brianwally what’s your thought if you look at the above pdf?

Privacy Concern How to have Unlisted Video deleted ?

I’m hoping someone here can help.

Someone uploaded YouTube videos containing sensitive information, including my phone number in the video description. The videos appear as unlisted. I can’t find them through YouTube search, and they only open if I have the direct link.

What confuses me is that even though the videos are unlisted, someone was somehow able to find them and contact me using the phone number listed in the description. I thought unlisted videos weren’t searchable, so I’m trying to understand how this could have happened.

I have a few questions:

Is there any way to get an unlisted YouTube video
removed if it contains my personal information?

What is the best process to report it to YouTube?
Is there a way to download an unlisted video if I have the link?

How could someone have found an unlisted video in the first place?

Can unlisted videos still appear in search engines or be discovered in other ways?

I would really appreciate any advice or if anyone has dealt with something similar. Thank you!

Impact of midterms on NOK & Will we hit 20 this year.

What’s everyone’s take here on NOK price action during midterms. Will it be brutal for them as other American companies or will it be immune to it as it’s an European company. What’s the probability of it hitting 6-7 from here if spy corrects let’s say 10% to 680 during Sep - Oct months. And, if that happens then we will almost not hit 15 for a long time imo as it will be almost over 100% increase. What’s everyone’s take here.

I bought options - calls around when NOK was 14 and heavily down on my $25 calls - 75 % down expiring Jan 28. How bad of a situation i am in ?

Best Costco non toxic products.

I just bought organic peanut butter which I think is the best on the market when you factor in the price and all. I am looking for the list of best non toxic products which you can buy at Costco. It could be anything from cosmetics to cleansing products to food products to anything.

Costco also keeps skippy peanut butter which is shite product as it has palm oil. So, you have to be wary of that as well. Hence, the question.

Buy the dips now or after midterms ?

I am curious how everyone is approaching this market.
On one hand, prices have come down and buying during periods of weakness has often rewarded long-term investors. On the other hand, midterm elections can bring uncertainty, and some people prefer to wait until the political and economic outlook is a little clearer.

Are you:

Buying the dip now and averaging in?
Waiting until after the midterms?
Sitting on cash until a bigger pullback?
Ignoring the headlines and sticking to your normal investing schedule?

Interested to hear how others are thinking about it and why. Thanks in advance.

Also, I know most of us have invested in AI related stocks and they are the ones seeing major correction but SPY hasn’t even corrected yet. So, what’s the take here.

Best Value for money Shower curtains with liners

Please share your favourite not so expensive non toxic shower curtain and liner sets I can buy for cheap. Some options are like $100 plus which I feel is too much for shower curtains. Please help.

Some say linen is better as opposed to cotton and liner is also not required. Is it correct?

Loop Recommendation for High-Pitched Door Slams and Vibrations

I’m looking for some advice on which loop earplug would be most effective for my situation.

My neighbor’s door creates a noticeable vibration along with a high-pitched noise every time it closes. In addition, many of the other apartment doors in the building also slam loudly, producing the typical hard door-banging sound.

This happens several times a day (around 5–6 times on average) and sometimes at night as well. The combination of the sharp, high-pitched sound and the vibration is what bothers me the most.

For anyone who has dealt with something similar, which Loop earplug product would you recommend for reducing the impact of these door-slamming noises and vibrations while still being practical for everyday use?

Customer service suggested Loop Quiet 2 for the day and Loop Dream for the night. Please share your thoughts.

Also, I have air pods pro with ANC and it didn’t eliminate this noise don’t know why.

Extreme Sun Tan - Is it just me, or is the Chicago sun hitting way different this year?

Hi Chicago,

I feel like I am losing a war against the sun right now. I have lived here a while, but this summer is genuinely catching me off guard. I have gone several shades darker in just two or three days of being out, and it’s not budging even after my regular face wash routine. I am diligent about using Tizo mineral sunscreen, which I love, but it feels like the sun here in Chicago is just bypassing it entirely.

It seems like I am tanning significantly faster than anyone else around me, and honestly, the intensity of the heat is unexpected. I really don’t like wearing hats all the time, so I am looking for any and all advice on how to handle this. Are there specific local strategies I am missing? What are your secrets for surviving this without having to cover my head? Would love to hear how you all are protecting your skin during this heatwave. Thanks in advance.

Consistent Income Through ETFs used for Rentals

Hey Guys, can the consistent income flow from covered call ETFs be used for rental property companies. Has anyone done that. It will obviously be not a consistent income through W 2 but it will be shown in the bank statement. I recently lost a job and found that my friends are not comfortable co signing my new rental.

Is there a way for me to form a llc and own the ETFs and then become an employee and get the consistent income. Are there other strategies that can be used for use case where someone needs a prof of income not necessarily through W2. Please help.

EWY and DRAM Conundrum

Given, how the S Koreans are levered in EWY, what’s the take here. Is it good to enter now or we might see more bloodbath. EWY is dragging the entire US Semis & DRAM with itself. Given SK Hynix IPO and Samsung becoming the most profitable company. I think we should atleast double from here - I am talking EWY @ 300. But, wanna hear what you all think. I have EWY @ 150. So, don’t know if I should sell EWY and enter dram and nok or just keep holding.

Is the market trying ti liquidate the whole degen S Koreans or what lol.

Friend suddenly lost job, needs to move, but new apt requires 4x rent co-signer. Options in Chicago [IL]?

Posting on behalf of a close friend who is in a really tough spot right now.

He recently lost his job here in Chicago and has to move to a new apartment. The place he’s looking at is $Xxxx/mo, but the management company is strictly requiring a co-signer who makes 4x the rent.

He doesn't have anyone in his network who can meet that income threshold or act as a guarantor.

He has some decent savings to cover rent while he job hunts, but corporate landlords don't seem to care about liquid assets—they just want that 4x W-2 income co-signer.

  1. Are there any third-party co-signer/guarantor startups (like TheGuarantors or Insurent) that actually work well and are widely accepted by landlords in Chicago?

  2. Does anyone know of management companies or areas in the city that are more flexible with sudden unemployment if the renter has savings?

  3. Any other strategies for bypassing this corporate brick wall?

Has anyone used leap easy or insurent or guarantor?

Really appreciate any advice or leads you can share. Thanks!
