Green Dragon is great ya’ll dripping

3.5g at a consistent $12? Can’t beat it. $10 off every 3rd order.

It’s not top shelf, but it’s not nearly the worst I’ve smoked in my life. I had brick weed at a teen, this is still decent.

Still better than the crap I got from curaleaf years ago and definitely not as dry as truleave or MUV.

If you smoke one joint a day to go to sleep, keep buying your good crap.

If you smoke all day, you can’t beat the dragon

“Casting your pole” is using a metaphorical metal detector. This is how we find Iron Springs from “past the Hole” (9 mile Hole or FireHole for the redundancy)

My kids love cornmeal porridge/Hasty pudding

We did a historical cooking project this week where we ate the breakfast of the presidents. They did not like cornmeal pancakes at all. Wouldn't give them a second bite.

John Adams breakfast, hasty pudding, they loved. We made it 2 days in a row so far.

We used white cornmeal as this is the cornmeal that would have been on hand for the times. You can get it from Mount Vernon itself if you want to make this more authentic.

Recipe is

2 cups milk

1/2 cup cornmeal

tablespoon of butter

2 tablespoons of sugar

pinch of salt

Pinch of cinnamon

Heat the milk, whisk in the cornmeal and salt, simmer until thick, add butter and cinnamon.

It tasted a lot like if Rice pudding was Cream of Wheat

A tourist was seriously injured after a bison tossed them about 8 feet into the air in Yellowstone National Park

More on Yellowstone as our starting point

My basic argument has been that the two lines taken together: As hope surges, clear and bright,
Walk near waters’ silent flight.

Is giving us a sunrise + steam/mist/fog on the rivers in the morning.

The main rebuttal against this is that it is a common phenomenon that happens across many rivers so it’s not collapsing enough.

So the goal then is to look for areas where this happens consistently, for the sake of the hunt, and an area where this is actually known to be an attraction.

Yellowstone fits here best, specifically in the FireHole/Madison canyon, due to one of the largest active magma flows beneath the earths surface in the world keeping the waters warm against the near freezing temperatures of the air. Compounded with the geysers and vents and we get quotes like from Hayden geological survey in 1871:

> In the Lower Geyser Basin on both sides of the Firehole,
even up among the foot hills of the mountains on either side,
are springs in a state of greater or less activity, and upon the
Vel'y summits of the mountains is here and there a steam
vent. But none of the Grand Geysers are found here. For
four or five hours in the early morning, this valley presents one
of the most interesting pictures that can well be imagined:
columns of steam are rising from a thousand vents, completely
shrouding the valley as with a dense fog.

This goes beyond any old river having some steam in the morning, this is a unique phenomenon in a specific area.

Using the next line:

Round the bend, past the Hole

Fits in the path West to East with a prominent bend prior to going past FireHole Canyon.

Evidence in the show is the two ribbons Justin finds prior to the treasure location in the Netflix show. Two Ribbons Trailhead is the first trailhead when coming into the West Yellowstone entrance. This is one of his “confirmations you’re on the right track”

I’d also argue that at the end of the show when he stumbles over his words that this is faked for the subtitles to say “gibbing” to refer to the Gibbon River. Which I believe is where he is recording that from.

The rest is up to more debate, but I think this part is confidently solved.

I’m not saying the treasure is in Yellowstone, but I do believe this is the starting point for solving.

Yellowstone solve - I’m not going, feel free to prove me wrong

I want to start out by addressing the most common rebuttal of “you don’t have to pay to get in”

I don t believe Justin had to pay either when Brandon was with him due to the military discount. Free days also count.

At the seekers summit Justin said that people were too focused on if there was a cost or not and also that he was not ready to rule out national parks.

Therefore I think it’s still worth checking if at least just to cross it off.

Looking at the poem only solve first.

Justin said stanza 4+ is BOTG so I’m only going to solve 1-3 from home. The rest won’t become clear until onsite.

> Can you find what lives in time,
Flowing through each measured rhyme?
Wisdom waits in shadowed sight-
For those who read these words just right.

This is purely an invitation to the hunt. No specific clue here other than the reference to a specific time being relevant.

> As hope surges, clear and bright,

This references a sunrise. The light of a new day as it bursts forth over the skyline. It’s telling us to go out at sunrise.

> Walk near waters’ silent flight.

This is our first line that actually gives us a location. We know the general search area of the western US. Only one area is specifically known for the steam coming off the rivers in the morning due to the temperatures, shape of the landscape, and other factors. That area is Yellowstone. More specifically the Madison and FireHole rivers.

> Round the bend, past the Hole,

Going from west Yellowstone east there is a prominent bend in the road followed by 9 mile hole and also FireHole (Justin said there would be redundancy and this counts as that)

> I wait for you to cast your pole.

In the book Justin refers to his metal detector as his pole. He says he was alone in the desert waving his metal pole over the sands. If we use a metaphorical metal detector, the closest named location with metal is Iron Springs.

> In ursa east his realm awaits;

The Madison River is the bear. Just after Iron Springs the river turns East

Edit: to expand on this, the “bear” isn’t largely important to the hunt besides as a reference point. If Secret valley is standing guard over its namesake creek and we count the canyon north or the path up to secret valley as ancient the The Madison is her groom, or the bear, as it is a tributary of Secret Valley creek and is the dominant feature flowing through this area.

> His bride stands guard at ancient gates.

The bear’s bride is Secret Valley. In the book Justin states that Secret Valley stands guard over its namesake creek. The canyon just north or the entrance to secret valley is the ancient gates.

> Her foot of three at twenty degree,

The Madison, Secret Valley creek, and the sloped path up towards Secret Valley make the foot of three. Likely the spot I would stand at sunrise.

> Return her face to find the place.

This will likely be more obvious on location, but I’m guessing we need to look in all directions from this spot to get the right angle for the next steps to be obvious.

Confirmations:

In the Netflix series Justin finds 2 ribbons prior to the treasure location. Two ribbons trailhead is the first trailhead when coming into west Yellowstone.

The first location mentioned in the book is Iron Springs. Justin is scouting out the map of Iron Springs while his brother was saying goodbye.

The Hole being capitalized tells us it’s a named location.

Parking just before the bridge allows for an easy hike under the bridge and over to secret valley. You would be able to park a Prius there and walk out with a bum leg.

Note. I’m not sure if the treasure is at this final location of if you’ll find a QR code with final coordinates.

Based on the LayerV tech it seems that it could give a one time temporary message, possibly leading outside of the park for legal purposes of abandoning property.

Finished the Imperial agent story!(Spoilers)

I just finished it last night and wow what a good story!

My agent was a male chiss (original, I know)

Watcher two said something racist to me when we met so I was mean to her most of the time. By the end I warmed up to her.

I liked Kaliyo. She was my ride or die until she cheated on me. I want her off my ship. Married Raina Temple instead, but the relationship wasn’t as deep as the one with Kaliyo.

The mind control arc was fantastic. At that point, and after Jadus faked his death and manipulated us, I hated both the republic and the empire. I wanted them both to burn.

The ending was perfectly climactic and fun.

I’m doing smuggler next. Made him a big buff black dude.
