Is my SAP giving Mr Beast??

I (27f) am NOT tuned into what the kids are up to. I was going for 90's vibes with the colors. Then a young person told me I got a Mr Beast SAP... I googled his logo and its the same colors, which doesn't bother me much. Lots of things are pink and blue. But I'm worried the general population is going to go straight to Mr Beast lol

To clarify, I totally agree with said young person that its the same colors and resembles his vibe, but please tell me it doesnt look like I went out of my way to get a Mr Beast tattoo 😂

To clarify pt 2. If you saw me at Walmart, would you think Mr Beast, or just another SAP?

Havent slept in days because Texas is smarter than me.. HELP! 🥲

I posted here a few days ago looking for general advice after my dog had stepped on a stick that went through the webbing in her foot.

(I'll link that post in the comments)

I ended up having to take her to the vet because her foot swelled up really bad. Turns up there was still a small peice of wood in her foot and it caused an absess to form on the top of her toe and they had to pop it and clean it out.

We got sent home with meds and instructions to keep it clean, don't wrap it, and keep her from licking. Nbd, right? WRONG. She has such a long face and is SUPER flexible. We are 2 types of cones deep at this point and she can still get to it.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep her from licking her paw? (Left rear)

Reminder: We cannot wrap it per the vet. We've tried oversized cones, fitted cones, and a VERY cute donut lol.

Thank you guys!

Stepped on a stick that went through the webbing in her foot

*we have already called our vet and they said this was not worth bringing her in for*

I'm not gonna post pics of her foot because she's already let me look at it a few times and it clearly hurts her.

My dog stepped on a stick and it poked about a 1cm hole through the webbing of her foot. She was outside for about half an hour before we noticed. We got the stick out and rinced her foot off with water, and put her in a cone of shame to avoid licking it.

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on pain management and helping us keep it clean to avoid infection?

I'll post a pic of her, at least. Her name is Texas, shes 3. About 60 lbs and we think shes some level of belgian shephard mix.

Thank you friends!

Pets ARE family, but they are not people

Dont get me wrong.. I have animals that I love more than most things and I would do ANYTHING for them.

I've been thinking a lot about a poor mother whos dog mauled her kiddo. The dog got put down, and the comments were FLOODED with people absolutely trashing her for putting the dog down and saying they'd lie, and say another random dog did it, or refuse to say how it happened to avoid having their animal put down. I think "pet parent" culture has gotten absolutely out of control.

To piggy back, your 4 legged "kid" does not need to to EVERYWHERE with you

Social media and "relationship tests" are leading to women mentally abusing their partners

I AM A WOMAN*****

The bird test, the orange test, and all of these other tests mostly women are doing on our husbands/boyfriends is manipulative and creates an abusive relationship.

Women are actively breeding distrust in their relationship. Causing their partners to second guess every move they make trying to say and do what you want them to. When they pass the random "checkpoints" you've set up they're rewarded. When they fail, they're punished and often publicly humilated online.

If they get upset for feeling manipulated, those feelings are deemed a "red flag". Basically gaslighting them into thinking they have no right to feel discomfort in the first place.

Then to make it worse, they post these videos online seeking validation in a place where women who don't know them, and generally couldnt care less about what happens to you after they scroll to the next video say you "deserve better", "leave him", and "he hates you girl"

Your partner doesnt hate you because he didn't want to peel your orange for you 🙃

Not to mention these tests are just odd and set people up for failure. If my partner tried to initate a conversation by "I saw a bird" I'd be confused as shit. If he asked me to peel his orange for him, I'd probably laugh and say "peel your own damn orange. You're 30!"

Should I call and complain about a walgreens employee?

Ive almost never complained about anything when it comes to negative interactions with people in customer facing jobs. I did it myself for almost 10 years so I get that things happen, and sometimes you put your foot in your mouth. We're all people.

BUT last night, I was talking to my husband and realized my period is a little late. Im on BC, but I wanted to take a test just to calm my nerves. So we go to Walgreens. The man at the counter scanned the test, pointed at it, then looked at my husband and said "what are we hoping for?" My husband said "what??" And he repeated himself. I jumped in and basically said "well whatever happens, happens" and tried to shake off the interaction.

I'll save you the rest of the weird conversation because its really the least of my problem with that interaction. But he basically started going on a rant about how his roomate and his gf turned his house into a meth den and she had to take a pregnancy test once.. Fun!

ANYWAYS.. ive been debating about calling the store to complain because it just felt so inaproperiate and could seriously embarass the wrong person. I'm just afraid I might be over reacting and could get him in trouble for no real reason 🙃

IIL audio books, please help me help my greiving grandma!

My Grandmas uncle passed away last night, and I am driving my grandparents who are in their 70's about 15 hours across country to get them down to help plan the funeral and be with my Great Grandma (it was her bother). We are leaving at 3am tomorrow.

I am desperately trying to find an audio book that is approperiate for us to listen to on the trip. They like murder mysteries a lot. But looking for something a little more "old people" approperiate. Mild cussing is fine. But no sex scenes or anything like that.

I am incredibly desperate. My poor grandma is an absolute wreck and I want to have something entertaining to try to make the drive a little less miserable

The age old question: How do I make friends as an adult?

I 27f am in my first month being a stay at home wife. I've always struggled making new friends and have always had a fairly small circle. I'm pretty shy, and after a falling out I had with my (embarassingly) only friend, I dont have anyone to talk to during the day.

I am moving out of state with my husband next month for his job, and I really want to make new friends, but I have no idea where to start. I am ready to step out of my comfort zone ans be more outgoing.

I'm just really nervous being that far away from our family and just want a friend or two.. just wondering if anyone has advice on where to start? I don't feel like most people are very open to striking up a conversation with strangers in public anymore.. lol

Thanks!

A story as old as time; my friend got ahold of a tattoo machine

Trying to figure out how to fix this guy. Its on my buttcheek. I was thinking maybe a sacred heart? Idk. Like the concept, but obviously the tattoo itself is obviously rough. Its about 4 years old.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!!

My dog likely saved my life today

My lovely husband retired me on Friday and today marks my first work week as a housewife.

I had my windows open in my house because it was SO nice out this morning. I was in my kitchen when I heard my dogs FREAKING out and my Mal mix doing what I call her "big girl bark" so I went in the bedroom just in time to see a man standing right outside my window looking into my bedroom.

Texas was throwing herself against the window break through the screen to get to him, and ended up scaring him off. Needless to say, those window wont be open anymore. But all the flowers for my brave girl who has refused to leave the bedroom for the rest of the day. Shes getting boiled chicken for dinner for being so brave!!

(Dont judge me, my fitted sheet is in the washer 😭)
