Hace unos días ha reabierto un Mercadona en la ciudad de Segovia. Este modelo de "Tienda 9" ha eliminado el puesto de pescadería y ha unido los puestos de trabajo para productos frescos en un punto, para una mejor coordinación y ahorrar también hasta un 40% en agua.

Pues bien, en esta tienda rehabilitada han añadido una plaza peatonal enorme en la sección de carnicería/pescadería/horno/productos preparados. Donde antes había 3 pasillos ahora hay 1 enorme. Los puestos de preparación de jamón, horno y Listo Para Comer ahora están en un solo punto. Han quitado o faltan de añadir los carteles que indican las secciones en el techo, incluyendo los puestos de horno y Listo Para Comer, cosa que no me gusta. Ahora el parking pide ticket para poder aparcar, pero todavía no está habilitado, además de que han puesto un cartel de "Parking libre/completo" pero por error pone que está "Completo" a pesar de que hay muchas plazas libres.

En conclusión, siento que este nuevo Mercadona rehabilitado le faltan muchas cosas, como si las reformas estuvieran sin acabar. En caso de que en este Mercadona hayan dejado eso sin acabar a posta y no haya más cosas que añadir, solo espero que este modelo de tienda sea experimental y que no se añada el mismo modelo en la misma ciudad.

Seriously, imagine if your city had highways for bicycles instead of cars. Instead of 50 lanes for light trucks carrying only one person and causing significant pollution, there were bike lanes. People would leave their cars behind and use these wide mega-highways on their bikes. It would be every cyclist's dream.

The Polish city of Jaworzno has a bike path with four lanes, two in each direction (as you can see here). And in the Basque Country, Spain, they are currently building "super bike lanes," which, although they only have two lanes in total, offer better features than a traditional bike lane (see here). Esperemos que haya más bonos del transporte público así, porque realmente quiero viajar y moverme sin tener que depender de un automóvil todo el tiempo. Suelo residir en áreas rurales, pero esto me ayudará muchísimo, porque puedo tomar el bus y de ahí un tren más barato a cualquier ciudad de España.

I found them at the MediaMarkt in my city for €7-8 each. I've always had a fear of what would happen if one of these hard drives fell off my desk without protection and broke. They look very nice, but I'm more interested in whether they actually protect the hard drives properly.
