Excuse my rant, I know I add to the mess as well too... But man dating is so hard

23 M Just got back from a date that was cut short way early because she needed to be somewhere.

Im genuinely tired of it tbh, This is mainly just a rant about the situation but yeah.. It burns a little more tonight because I have felt incredibly unlucky recently when it comes to dating. I never really get the cut short problem too much but even the recent first date cancellations i've had recently just makes me feel bitter. (like genuinely 5-6 in a row and now this) I wish I could be a little more stoic but it is a genuine war out here 100%.

I know it sucks for all of us but its been awhile since i've even had a small victory out here. Godspeed to everyone out here doing this dating thing man truly!

Confession: little by little ADL is starting to make my dih twitch more

The purpose general of this post is just to say that I’m starting to catch yeats new wave man. Sometimes you gotta go against the crowd and face the flame to find the music you truly like. Genuinely starting to lose control of my dih because it grows when I hear this new sound and beat. I’m literally moments away of putting my dih on the griddle bc low key I’m ashamed that I’m starting to enjoy it. What I want is just to be in harmony with the music I like. How am I supposed to liv like dis? Like as I’m typing this I’m listening to ADL as my dih swells taller. But no, I should have it my way, even if the Reddit clowns me. We all genuinely should trust twizz and let king Tonka talk fr… alr im done ain’t no way imma keep going with this bs.

Just got quoted 33k for A/C and heater in Austin for 1,000 sq ft house

As the title states I got quoted 33k for an AC unit and a heater.

I just bought the house and in the inspection the guy told me the cooler was likely toast and may cost 3k to fix if they can, but the ducts are good and I can get a new one for like 6k.

I went to Home Depot and the guy kept trying to convince me the heater must be broken too. He turned the thermostat up to 85 (it’s highest) and said ‘see, no hot air’

I pointed out it was 94 degrees in the house at the time so why would the heater turn on when the read temp is above the set temp.

He then told me if the cooler is toast the heater should just be replaced too, with duct work. I handed him a gas mask, a ladder, a headlamp and a flashlight to check the attic. He changed the subject so I asked if he could at least send me a list of options (top one is 33k, lowest is 17k)

He did not inspect anything while we were there other than me pointing to the data on the side of the cooler.

I have no prior knowledge in this field but there seemed to be more red flags than a Chinese military parade. Am I missing something?
