Why?

Why?

Just putting it out there that it's really really hard to take some of the criticism seriously when the second they hear someone disagree with them, they delete their account. I'm not saying there's no legitimate criticism, but this is who I've been dealing with primarily. People who yell "cope lol" and then just peace out.

The flip side is that crying misogyny when someone has a critique isn't helping either.

I'm curious

Without starting an argument, is the general consensus that people who've read the book not liked the movie, and the people who have not read it liked it? I know there's exceptions, but I'm wondering. Case in point, I've read the book and liked the movie. And I'll get flak for this, but I preferred the movie.

Green Lantern (1991)

I've always thought the primary cast of The Rocketeer would have made a decent Green Lantern cast.

Billy Campbell (Hal)

Jennifer Connelly (Carol)

Timothy Dalton (Sinestro)

Arrow finale question

You guys think that Roy was a little annoyed that Oliver brought his mom back to life and Tommy but didn't bother giving Roy his arm back?

Since it is the movie's anniversary, what's your opinion on Man of Steel (2013)?

Do you think this movie was good or bad? And are you a fan of Snyder's reimagining of Superman?

Batman: Hunted (Released May 2, 2008)

Movie is set in Spring of 1961 (A Retroverse, if you will)

Supergirl (1959)

Alternate reality where, after George Reeves' death, the producers of The Adventures of Superman decide to capitalize on the newly created character "Supergirl" and rewrite the series so Clark's Kryptonian cousin, Kara Kent (Kara Zor-El) fills in for Superman in Metropolis while he "away"...

Did I stear her wrong?

Okay... so I'm really torn.

My daughter (12F) found out that two of her friends at school were involved in... things they shouldn't do.

One I can't get into because, well... it's become an ongoing investigation with local police.

The other is another 12F, we'll call her "C". C disclosed to her friend group that she's been cutting herself. This bothered my daughter to the point that she came to me and expressed concern.

Knowing how I'd feel if my 12yo daughter was doing it and knowing it's dangerous physically, emotionally, mentally etc... I opted to tell the guidance counselor as I don't know the family.

Now my daughter is being ostracized by her friend group and told she's a bad friend etc. C's parents are "strict" and mad at her now (according to 12 yo's).

I know we did the right thing, but should I have just... had her mind her business?

A lot of Spider-Man and Supergirl coupling online...

Which live action pairing do you think is the most compatible?

I wish that during the pilot when they did the scene with Winn helping her with the suits, we got a variation of this one. Maybe with a longer skirt and full shirt (No exposed midriff) and no white gloves. I've never understood the gloves...
