I know Mesa have some units like the Throttle Box but I figured I’d ask and see if there’s any unsung heroes out there when it comes to emulating this sound at lower price/volume point hah. Or, if the Throttle Box is exactly what I’m looking for and I’m just over complicating things!
Selling a pair of unworn boots on eBay, listed it as free shipping domestically. Buyer outside US placed an order and is now complaining that shipping is too expensive AFTER making an offer I accepted. This information should have been readily available up front to them, no? Why are they just now complaining after making an offer?
I don’t know whether to just cancel the order and move on or try and work something out. I’m not about to short myself on shipping fees someone else doesn’t feel like paying.
I live like half an hour south of Indianapolis and these dumbfucks keep kicking my package around the map. This has happened several times before and it’s ridiculous.
Excited for this one. Hopefully I don’t become one of those apocryphal tales of people shitting their pants and passing out lolol
But on a serious note, I do plan to bring hearing protection because I have tinnitus already and I don’t wanna risk making that shit any worse.
Tuned to B standard for slow, fuzzy Electric Wizard riffing.
any recommendations for pedals that get in the ballpark? I’ve got a Fuzzlord FU-2 which is great for the hyper fuzzy sound of Come My Fanatics and Dopethrone but I’m curious if anyone’s come across any good pedals for approximating their tone from later albums.
My playlist of sea songs and shanties just isn’t complete without it now
I’m sure it’s likely coincidental but with how many Easter eggs and little homages are worked into the show it wouldn’t surprise me either if this was an intentional reference to that viral clip of him. Granted it’s not a 1:1 pattern comparison but it’s still pretty close.
Contacted him a while back about building a clone of the Angry Charlie (basically a JCM800 in a box) and he knocked it out of the park. Love the sound and of course the look.
Just changed out the stock Lace Nitro Hemi pickups for a set of Bill’s signature Mojotone Hellbender pickups and imo they sound (and look) even better.
I seem to remember this package being a big letdown for a lot of people on the Ashes of Leviathan tour so I’m not sure if I should chance it *this* tour or if I should just stick with the standard GA ticket?
I was diagnosed as autistic as a child but only recently in life started thinking I might have ADHD as well. Only thing that doesn’t really present in me is the hyperactivity part. (But I do have a mean impulsive streak).
So i had a test done recently where they sat me in front of a computer in a testing room alone and had me run this test where I had to follow instructions that appeared on screen. Evidently I ended up “acing” it but I’m not really convinced.
Has anyone else taken one of these tests and passed and then ended up getting diagnosed anyway later on? How should I go about letting my doctor know Id like to examine this further? What other avenues are there?
I just feel like a simple computer test isn’t really enough to fully explore the possibility.
Was a great set, although it’s funny that the venue (and date) advertised on the poster ended up being incorrect since it got rained out and moved to a different venue the following day. Still, close enough. Signed by all four members of the band.
