About to pull this 3m 2080 carbon film off as it’s aging and go with ultrafit carbon ppf on roof and hood.

You think 60”x10’ is a stretch ? I wrapped the hood myself and had plenty of material left over at 60”x5’.

Finally replaced the line and splash guard!

Replaced the liner and splash guard after a semi truck tire took it out earlier this week. Went to carparts.com and spent $70 for both pieces because it's just liners I don't need to spend $250 for plastic from VW.

Surprised at how well the fit is.

Watch out for semi truck tire debris.

I struck a small piece of tire debris because cars on both sides of the highway prevented any avoidance. It measured roughly six inches wide and a foot long, tearing away my entire splash guard along with the wheel well bracket that secures it.

Ceramic tint is 9 years old—should I replace it?

I had my car tinted when I bought it new in 2017. It has 20% ceramic tint all around, and cosmetically it still looks great no bubbling, peeling, purple discoloration, or obvious damage.

That said, it seems lighter than it did when it was first installed, and I don’t feel like it keeps the cabin as cool as it used to. I live in Texas, so it has dealt with years of brutal heat and sun.

For those with experience in tinting: is this normal after about nine years? Can ceramic film lose some of its heat-rejection performance even if it still looks good, or am I just noticing the Texas heat more now? Would you replace it now, or wait until there are visible signs of failure?

Noticed after an update the widgets were blacked out. I am now reading this is now a feature of ultra only? I've been using carrot premium for 5 years now.

I may have to switxh services. Thanks for the 5 years.

Basically doing a trade in of my 15 pro that has been replaced by apple care +. When I type in my IMEI the device cannot be recognized on the site I'm trading up for. How do I go about using my device as a trade in.

DWS 06+ owners

If you use these tires for daily driving, how do they hold up over time? My car has a great deal of power, but for regular use they should be fine, correct?

I currently have Continental ECS 02 tires, these dws06+ given to me at no cost by a friend employed at the Continental manufacturing plant.

I live in a warm region where temperatures rarely drop below 50 even in winter.

ECS 02 are about 8 months old and I still have 70% tread so I dont plan on taking them off now.

I'm only going to say this once don't buy BFI mounts.

I don’t know what the hell is going on over at BFI, but I’ve had 3 insert failures over the time I’ve run their stuff. First time, the excuse was maybe improper install. I’ve taken apart entire DSGs and done clutch updates installing 4 bolts to the proper torque spec isn’t rocket science.

Second time, they said I probably got a bad batch and sent me 2 sets. Now here I am again 4 months later with another failure, and this one was almost catastrophic.

And just to be clear, I’m only talking about transmission mounts. I’ve run both the Stage 2 green mounts and the Stage 1 black mounts, and both have failed on me.

Look at this shit!
