The very first stall had persimmon and yellow dragon fruit and then I took 2 steps and found a guy that was cutting slices of Jackfruit for $1/lb and he cut me a 4lb slice 😍 I gave him a tip because he cut me a huge slice and was apologizing and i felt bad he was stressed and he gave me a passionfruit (behind the cup of jackfruit seeds) in return lol

Any tips on how you like to eat your fruits? Its Jackfruit, persimmon, yellow dragon fruit and passionfruit.

Oh also anything for the jackfruit seeds because theyre apparently also edible

I’ve listened to him only since “Girl” came out but for me I love most of his music. I live in a majorly Hispanic community but not a lot of people know him somehow. Am I on the back of of things?

I have no clue what the actual name of this plant is but my fiancées 98 yr old papaw had a stroke and then a seizure and he had to move to a place he could be constantly monitored. He left sometime last year and these are hiding under his bean trees so I never saw them.

I have no clue what they are and obviously they look same same, same different. I would really like to know so I can help. The plastic pots are busted apart and I’m going to get a pot this weekend but idk what soil to even put for it. We’re in hurricane season so idk how it’s survived this long…

I’m the only one with any plant knowledge which is very little and his daughter (my MIL) doesnt even know they’re there or that they are dying. I don’t imagine her dad will live much longer as he is pretty bad shape rn and I would love to be able to replant it and get it thriving and then return it to her healthy. That is my end goal and I don’t want to fail at this.

She got too big for the window sill and I’m afraid of it damaging it leaving it there for extended periods so I took the risk to move it back to the table for most the day however I close the curtain at night and so I’ve been putting in the window just until I can get out of bed so she still can get a little light in the morning also.

It is my birthday monstera from my fiancee and I know there are more than 1 there but this is the first time I’ve had one that’s done well since all my plants died after a bad dip in my mental health. I’m not going to separate them however I’d be open to a larger pot or any other advice. I am working towards a light though.

Also I included a cool thing I didn’t know but now when I take a picture of a plant my phone tries to identify it and I just wanted to share that small piece too.

So I (35F) live in south Florida and this started with him getting 1 Pitbull (which idc about the breed it’s that they are massive dogs and also my previous dog was a terrier mix) and now he has 2 of them and he doesn’t leash them when he walks them but they are not scared of anything and just run towards you but I have no idea if they’re friendly. I know that they don’t listen to him and he has no authority, they call for the dogs and they just run away or do whatever else except their command which would be fine if they were on a leash. But they are not. I’ve always been too scared because they’re huge, you don’t need a permit here for them and my anxiety is already through the roof.

There’s a lot of deforestation here so they can build communities worth billions and I see a lot of animals with no home and recently they’ve built so much the animals don’t have many places to go. In my yard we get bunnies a lot and they don’t anyways run right away and I’m just worried about it.

Someone said to go and talk to him but my MIL only sees him do it when the cars are gone, I don’t live alone but I am alone enough that it’s scary. She’s originally saw him walking circles around the house and now she sees it on the cameras outside of him playing at our front door with his dogs .

We DO NOT know him especially for him to walk around my house looking around but because of all the racial divide in our country I’m terrified to say anything because everyone hates my race. My door isn’t the best and I have high paranoia and if he gets mad at me I can’t do anything to protect myself if I’m home alone and he has 2 big ass dogs with him. The whole thing sucks. I’m going to try and get the videos from my MIL and record the days and times the best I can just in case this spirals. People in Florida are insane and I’ve had people pull a gun on me a few times over dumb ish so I’m not trying go through more trauma. Please any advice would be great.

I (35F) have had GERD for some time now and I have just found out that a lot of the spices and favors that I use flare up acid reflux like garlic and onion. I posted a bit ago on this sub looking for opinions and the ones I got were really useful like try using black cumin or nigella seeds instead of garlic which I am on the look for but have not found yet.

Someone also said that some people made sofrito with celery and carrots to counteract the acidity of the sofrito, so that’s what I did. I cut back slightly on garlic and didn’t add onion as they are a trigger, I added both celery and carrots and blended it all and I was really happy with the outcome. The first taste you get is full of flavor like my other sofrito but this time once I swallowed it I didn’t feel it burn, actually it feels that most or almost all the acidity is cut out or curved even when it hits my stomach.

Another thing I did was switch out the green bell peppers and this time I did red and yellow instead of green and red.

So I just want to say thank you for the ideas, the last few days my acid reflux has been much more manageable. Idk that anyone would want the recipe but if it would help I can add it. 🫶🏽

Every time I make sofrito and slice into a bell pepper I find them. It was like every now and again and today I found 4 of them 🤔

I’m in south west Florida. Idk what this is, I’ve never have bugs theyre not moving but that doesnt mean it’s not alive.

If it is how do I treat it, if it’s a bug do they only live on the leaves? If it isn’t do you know what it is?
