Could Square Enix continue Cloud’s story after FF7 Revelation?

Could Square Enix continue Cloud’s story after FF7 Revelation?

Hi everyone!

Three days ago I finished my very first Final Fantasy game ever, which was the original Final Fantasy VII. I honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. I’ve played a lot of games over the years, and FF7 OG easily became one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Today I also finished Crisis Core (the original PSP version), and tonight I’m finally going to start FF7 Remake. I’ve actually owned it for about half a year but wanted to play the OG first. I also ordered Rebirth, which should arrive tomorrow.

Before I get into the Remake trilogy, I have a question. Please don’t spoil anything from Remake or Rebirth.

Do you think we’ll ever get another Final Fantasy game with Cloud and the rest of the FF7 cast as the main characters again after the Remake trilogy is over?

The reason I’m asking is because I saw a post on Twitter where someone said they don’t think Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be the end of the FF7 story. In the comments, someone said they think Square Enix could eventually turn Advent Children into a game, or maybe even include parts of its story in Revelation.

Someone else also said they believe the ending of the original FF7 might happen much earlier in Revelation, leaving plenty of room for brand-new story content afterward.

Since I’ve only played FF7 OG and Crisis Core so far, I have no idea whether any of those theories are realistic. I’ll be starting Remake tonight, so I’m trying to avoid any spoilers.

What do you all think? Do you think Revelation will be the final chapter of Cloud’s story, or do you think Square Enix might make another game with Cloud and the rest of the cast as the main characters sometime in the future?

Again, please don’t spoil anything from Remake or Rebirth. I’m only looking for your thoughts and predictions

just finished CC. I have a few lore questions before starting Remake.

Hey everyone!

About three days ago I finished Final Fantasy VII (OG) for the very first time. It was actually my first Final Fantasy game ever, and I honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. It completely blew me away and has easily become one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Two days ago I started playing the original PSP version of Crisis Core (I wanted to experience the original instead of Reunion first), and I just finished it today.

Tonight I’m finally starting FF7 Remake. I’ve actually owned it for almost half a year but kept putting it off because I wanted to play the original first. I also already ordered Rebirth, which should arrive tomorrow.

Before I jump into those games, though, I have a few questions about the original story.

Please don’t spoil anything from Remake or Rebirth. I’ve heard that those games aren’t just simple remakes and that they do some things differently, so I’d really like to understand the OG story first.

The biggest thing I’m confused about is the ending of Crisis Core.

Zack sacrifices himself while fighting all the Shinra infantry soldiers. Before he dies, he tells Cloud to carry on his legacy, gives him the Buster Sword, and Cloud clearly hears everything Zack says. Then Zack dies, and the ending transitions into the opening scene of FF7 OG, which I thought was an awesome callback.

But here’s what confuses me:

How does Cloud end up with his fractured identity?

At the end of Crisis Core he doesn’t seem like someone who’s completely lost his mind. He knows Zack, he hears Zack’s final words, and as far as I can tell, he should still know who he is.

So how does he go from that to believing he’s a SOLDIER First Class, mixing Zack’s memories with his own, and basically becoming the Cloud we meet at the beginning of FF7 OG?

Was there some kind of mental breakdown after Zack died? Did I miss an explanation somewhere? Or is this something that’s only implied?

Another thing I’m wondering about is how Cloud actually ends up joining Avalanche.

I remember Tifa finding him at the train station in Midgar in the OG, and then he ends up working as a mercenary for Avalanche. But I don’t really remember if the game explained what happened between Zack’s death and that moment, or how much time passed. Did I miss that explanation?

And finally, I’m still a little confused about the whole “Sephiroth Clone” thing.

Throughout FF7 OG, Cloud keeps being called a Sephiroth Clone. But unless I completely misunderstood something, Cloud isn’t literally a clone at all, right?

Isn’t he just a normal guy from Nibelheim who survived the Nibelheim Incident, got captured by Hojo, and was experimented on with Mako and Jenova cells?

Zack also went through Hojo’s experiments, but he doesn’t seem to be affected in the same way. So why does Cloud’s mind completely fall apart while Zack stays mentally intact?

And what exactly does the Mako infusion and the Jenova cells actually do to a person? I feel like I understood most of the story, but this part still confuses me.

Sorry for the long post! I absolutely loved both FF7 OG and Crisis Core, and before I dive into Remake tonight, I just want to make sure I fully understand what happened in the original story.

Thanks in advance, and again, please no spoilers for Remake or Rebirth!

Finished the og Final Fantasy VII for the first time 3 days ago…and wow.

Hey everyone,

I finished playing the original Final Fantasy VII 3 days ago, and I honestly have to say that everyone who calls it one of the greatest games ever made was right. It completely exceeded my expectations.
What’s even crazier is that this was my first Final Fantasy game, my first real JRPG, and honestly one of the very few RPGs I’ve ever played.

I’m 16, and for years I always thought JRPGs just weren’t for me. I never liked the idea of turn-based combat—I always thought it looked slow and boring, and I was convinced I’d never enjoy it.
My favorite games are usually action games, story-heavy games, or open-world games. Some of my favorites are The Last of Us, God of War, Zelda, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA, and games like that. So FFVII was completely outside of my comfort zone.

The reason I finally gave it a chance was because of my uncle. He’s a huge gaming fan (he’s 42 now) and played FFVII when it originally released. It’s been his favorite game of all time ever since, and he’s been recommending it to me for years. Recently I’ve also been getting into older retro games, so I finally decided to see what all the hype was about.
I’m so glad I did.

I honestly can’t believe how well this game has aged. The story was incredible, the characters were amazing, the world was so interesting to explore, and the soundtrack was fantastic. I went in expecting to appreciate it because it’s a classic, but I didn’t expect to absolutely love it.

I already knew about Aerith’s death because that had been spoiled for me years ago, but thankfully I didn’t know much else.

The biggest surprise for me was everything involving Cloud and Zack. That entire reveal completely caught me off guard, and I thought it was such a great twist.

Even the gameplay surprised me. I still don’t think turn-based combat will ever become my favorite style of gameplay, but FFVII completely changed my opinion on it. The Materia system was so much fun to experiment with, and I ended up looking forward to upgrading my characters and trying different combinations. I finally understood why so many people love this combat system.

I finished the game in about 38 hours, but I skipped quite a few optional side quests and hidden content. Even then, I collected a lot of stuff and explored as much as I could. I already know I’ll replay it in a year or two and go for a much more complete playthrough because I genuinely don’t feel like I’m done with this game yet.

I’m jumping straight into Crisis Core (the original PSP version). I know Crisis Core Reunion exists, but I’d rather experience the original first. After that I’ll finally play Remake and Rebirth, which have actually been sitting sealed on my shelf for months now. I’ve also seen that Zack seems to have a much bigger role in the Remake project, so I’m really excited to see what they’ve changed.

I do have one question, though. Please don’t spoil Crisis Core.

Is Zack actually alive during the events of the original FFVII, or is this something that Crisis Core will explain later? I don’t want any spoilers—I just want to know if I should keep playing and trust that everything will eventually make sense.

This game has honestly made me want to give JRPGs a real chance. Earlier this year I also started Chrono Trigger (I haven’t finished it yet), and now I’m really excited to explore more of the genre.
After Crisis Core and the Remake trilogy, I think I’ll take a small break from Final Fantasy and play some other games. But my goal now is to eventually play every mainline Final Fantasy from I to XVI, and probably a few spin-offs as well.

I’m really grateful that my uncle kept telling me to play this game. I ignored his recommendation for years because I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it.
Turns out I couldn’t have been more wrong.

What an incredible experience.

FFVII OG: All my Materia are still 1 star after 10+ hours?

Hey everyone,
I started playing the original Final Fantasy VII (1997) for the first time about a week ago. I already own the Remake, but I wanted to play the OG first before jumping into it.
I’m currently at Costa del Sol, and I’m a bit confused about the Materia system. I’ve watched a few beginner tips videos already, but I still can’t figure out why my Materia are not leveling up.
Every single Materia I have is still at 1 star, even though I’ve been playing for around 10+ hours and have been in a lot of battles. I also already have a weapon for Cloud with Double Growth, so I thought that would help them level faster, but nothing seems to change.
I’ve seen other people’s screenshots where their Materia already have 3, 4, or even 5 stars, and mine are all still stuck at the beginning.
I thought Materia would just level up naturally over time and that it would happen pretty quickly, but after all these fights I’m still at 1 star on everything.
Am I missing something obvious? Is there a mechanic I don’t understand, or am I just not earning enough AP yet?
Thanks!

WARNING: Watch out for Resident_Fishing_985 – Active Scammer on this sub!

Hey everyone, I want to put out a serious warning about a specific user on this s

There is a Reddit user who goes by **Resident\_Fishing\_985**. If you look through this sub and many others, he seems to reply to almost every single person asking for an account, commenting that he sent them a private DM. **He is a scammer.**

I had been talking to him for a week, and we agreed that I would buy his account for €100. Three days ago, I sent him the first half of the money. He actually let me play on the account for those three days while I was getting the rest of the money ready. Today, about two hours ago, I sent him the second half. He blocked me instantly right after.

After he blocked me, I checked up on things and realized that during the exact same days we were making our deal, he was still commenting on tons of other people's posts trying to lure them into his DMs.

Please try to report him and DO NOT trust him under any circumstances. He is a liar. His Reddit username is **Resident\_Fishing\_985**. Please stay safe out there, I just really don't want this to happen to anyone else.

I just got completely scammed out of €100 for a Fortnite account. I'm devastated.

Hey everyone, I really need your help right now. I’m completely breaking down.

For the past few days, I’ve been talking to this 25-year-old guy from France because I wanted to buy his fn account. We agreed on everything, and he honestly seemed 100% legit. We had normal conversations, so I trusted him. We agreed on €100 in total. Three days ago, I paid him the first half (€50). Right after, he actually gave me the login data, but I wasn't allowed to change the email or password yet.

I've been playing on the account for the last three days (at least it still works on Fortnite for now), but I was still waiting on the email access.
Today, I paid him the remaining half. He told me, "Yeah, okay, all good, I'm sending the info right now." And then, out of nowhere, he completely disappeared. He blocked me on both Discord and Reddit.

I know I shouldn’t have been so stupid. I will NEVER do anything like this ever again. But he felt so genuine, and I truly thought he was being serious. He completely scammed me. I literally sold my last two PS5 games just to afford the second half of the payment. And now he’s just screwing over teenagers. It’s absolutely insane and sick.

I know you’re not even supposed to buy accounts. The problem is, my brother is moving out soon and taking his PS5 with him. My main account is stuck on his console because he lost the access to the original email. We tried everything with Epic Games support, but we couldn't fix it. That's why I just wanted to buy an account for myself, so I could finally have one to play on. And now I got ripped off.

Can you guys please try to mass-report him on Reddit and Discord? I know it was dumb of me to trust him, but an adult taking advantage of a teenager like this is just disgusting. I just want him to face some consequences.

\*\*His Information:\*\*

\*\*Reddit Username:\*\* Resident\\\_Fishing\\\_985 (He has no profile picture)

\*\*Current Discord Username:\*\* colemodelz

\*\*Original Discord Name (visible in history):\*\* LXRD#2011

\*\*Discord Profile Picture:\*\* Demon Slayer anime PFP

Please, I know I messed up, but can anyone help me get this guy banned or reported so he stops doing this to others?

Looking for a Fortnite Duo Mate (Ranked + Chill Games) 🇩🇪/🇬🇧 [EU] [ps5]

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a Fortnite mate to play with. I started playing again after taking a break for around half a year to a year, and I’m really enjoying the game again. I’d say I’m pretty good or at least above average.

I mostly play Ranked, usually solo, and I’m currently Diamond. I haven’t really had much time to push higher yet because of school — I could usually only play maybe one or two rounds a day. But now I’m finally done with school and have holidays, so I’m looking for someone to grind with.

Ideally, I’d like to find someone German (I’m 16), but I’m also fine with people who are around my age, like 15–18. I’d just prefer not to play with people who are much older (like 22+). English is also okay! I can speak English pretty well, but sometimes I still struggle to find the right words when I have to react quickly while playing.

Most of the time I’d like to play Ranked, but I’m also down for some chill Duo games, Creative maps, or just messing around for fun.

I used to have a mate I played with almost every day, but he doesn’t really play anymore. I recently came back and honestly the game feels way better again this season — it reminds me more of the older Chapter 3/Chapter 4 feeling.

If you’re interested, just DM me :)
I’m mainly looking for someone who actually wants to play regularly and improve together.

I’m from Germany, and I’m working on my first horror movie idea. I’m not sure if I should continue or if it’s just a bad idea

Hey everyone,

I have been thinking about writing this for a while but I was not really sure how to put it into words.

I have been a big movie fan since I was a kid. Back in elementary school I used to say I wanted to become a director one day. That was always kind of my dream.

I am 17 now and I still love movies a lot, especially horror. But over the years I also started to feel like becoming a director is probably not realistic for me. I am from Germany and it often feels like most of the filmmakers I admire are from other countries, and I do not really see that many German directors or movies in the genres I like.

Because of that I kind of pushed the idea of filmmaking away for a while.

But recently I got back into horror movies again. I have been watching a lot of them lately, stuff like Barbarian, Weapons, Bring Her Back and some older ones too. It reminded me why I love movies in the first place.

After that I started thinking about my own story idea.

At first it was just a small concept, but over the last few weeks I kept building it in my head. Now I basically have the whole story figured out, the characters, structure, main events, ending and everything. I just have not written it as a screenplay yet because I honestly do not really know how to properly write one.

The idea is a horror story about a young couple who moves into a cheap isolated house to start over. At first everything seems normal, but strange things start happening at night. On the first night, at around 3:13 AM, there is knocking at the front door. When they check, there is no one there. Shortly after, they hear a voice outside. The strange part is that the voice sounds familiar to them, like someone they know, but they cannot see anyone and nothing about it makes sense. It feels wrong, but also too real to ignore.

I am still working out exactly how that part fits into the bigger picture, but the idea is that there is a kind of structure at first. Something that feels almost predictable. And then over time that structure starts to break, and things become more and more unpredictable and disturbing.

I do not want to spoil too much of the story yet, but it slowly turns into something more psychological and uncomfortable. It is not just meant to be a typical haunted house story. It is more about memory, fear, and the feeling that something is off even when everything looks normal.

I also want it to include more intense and brutal moments later on, including gore, but not just for shock value. More like violence that actually means something within the story and affects the characters in a real way.

I am not really someone who writes stories often and I would not even say I am that creative compared to other people here. I just got inspired after watching a lot of horror movies recently and tried to build something myself.

Right now I am kind of stuck between two thoughts.

Part of me wants to actually try writing this as a full screenplay even if it might turn out bad.
And another part of me feels like it might just stay a cool idea because I do not really know what I am doing.

So I just wanted to ask people who are into horror or writing:

Does this kind of idea sound interesting at all?
Is it worth trying to turn something like this into a real script if you have never done it before?
Or is this usually the kind of thing that just stays as a cool idea?

Any honest opinions would be really appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

Fritzbox plötzlich ausgefallen – Power/DSL und WLAN blinken ungewöhnlich

Hallo zusammen,

Dann passiert Folgendes:

Sie blinkt kurz auf
geht für ca. 1–2 Sekunden wieder aus
blinkt dann wieder

danach geht WLAN dazu

Question about buying Fortnite accounts and legitimacy of marketplaces

Hi everyone, I have a question.

I’ve been thinking about getting a Fortnite account with some older Chapter 2 skins. I was wondering if there are any websites or marketplaces that offer this at reasonable prices and are also 100% legitimate and safe from scams.

I’ve seen platforms like IGV mentioned, but I’ve also heard that they may not be very trustworthy. There are also other marketplaces such as FN Marketplace.

I’m basically trying to find out if there are any reliable and legitimate options, or if all of these types of services are generally unsafe or not recommended.

Any information or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Need help creating a 1:30-minute choreography for my music exam

Hi everyone, I have a question and I was hoping someone here could help me.
Next week I have my \*\*music exam at my secondary school\*\*. We have to prepare five different topics, and during the exam we randomly choose one of them. One of the topics is dancing, and for this topic I had to choose a song and create a choreography that is \*\*1 minute and 30 seconds long\*\*.

I chose \*\*“Can’t Stop the Feeling!” by Justin Timberlake\*\*, and unfortunately I can’t change the song anymore. The problem is that I’m really not good at dancing and I’m not really a musical person either. I’ve been trying to create a choreography for a while, but I’m struggling to make the movements fit the beat of the song.

The choreography has to include these steps at least once:
Grapevine
Discofox step
V-step
A quarter turn

I don’t know if I’m allowed to add other moves, but if possible I would like to keep it simple and mostly use these steps repeatedly.
I already started a little bit: when the song starts, I thought about doing two V-steps right away, but I can never get the timing exactly right with the music.

I know this might be a lot to ask, but this grade is very important for my final school certificate, and I really don’t want to mess it up. That’s why I wanted to ask if someone who has more experience with dancing could maybe create a simple choreography for me that fits the beat of the song.

I would really appreciate any help or advice. Thank you so much! :)

LEGO Marvel 2027 Wave includes Raimi Spider-Man logo set with Symbiote Tobey Maguire minifigure

Oh my God guys, I just watched the video from Maxbaut on YouTube who revealed the set names for the January 2027 Marvel wave.

He confirmed that the buildable Spider-Man logo set is based on the Sam Raimi films and that it includes a Symbiote Suit Tobey Maguire Spider-Man minifigure.

I’ve been waiting so long for this kind of minifigure — a proper Raimi Black Suit Spider-Man has never been released as a minifigure before, so this is huge.

I’m honestly really hyped about it and I’m definitely considering going day one on this set. It really feels like LEGO Marvel is getting better again.

He also said the Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin set is based on Spider-Man 1, including the classic Green Goblin design with the golden eyes.

If this wave ends up being like this, it could easily be one of the strongest LEGO Marvel waves in a long time.

Best Place to Sell LEGO Sets and Valuable Minifigures in 2026?

Hey everyone, I have a question.

For quite a while now, I’ve been thinking about selling some of my LEGO sets because I have a very large collection. About two weeks ago, I started the process, and every day I’ve been taking apart a few sets completely.

I disassemble the sets, wash all the individual pieces (except parts with stickers and the minifigures), and then rebuild the inventory from scratch. The minifigures have always been stored properly and are already very clean, so I don’t wash those. Some of the sets had become dusty over time, which is why I decided to take them apart and clean everything thoroughly.

After cleaning the pieces, I use the instructions and sort everything back into separate bags following the original build order, from Bag 1 all the way to the last bag. While doing that, I keep track of any missing parts for each bag and then check my spare parts collection to see if I already have them. If I don’t, I order the missing pieces so that all of my sets can be sold as complete sets. I still have the minifigures for pretty much every set as well.

My question is: where is the best place to sell LEGO these days?

I don’t really want to use BrickLink because I don’t feel like setting up and managing a store there. I’m also unsure about eBay. Do people still buy expensive LEGO sets there for reasonable prices? I have quite a few rare sets and many valuable and hard-to-find minifigures, so I’m trying to figure out where I would get the best results.

Has anyone had good experiences selling on Reddit, Facebook Marketplace, or somewhere else? I feel like Facebook might bring lower prices, but I’m not sure.

I have a very large collection overall. Maybe someone here would even be interested in buying a few sets. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, though. So far I’ve only finished around 10 sets out of what is probably 200+ sets in total. It will likely take another month or so before everything is ready. I’ll keep working on them this week, taking them apart, cleaning them, sorting them into bags, and replacing any missing pieces.

So far, though, most of the sets I’ve checked have actually been complete, which has been a nice surprise.

I’d appreciate any advice from people who have sold large LEGO collections before. Thanks!
