I have a 4 month old and a 3 yr old. Moved into a new city. I’m a stay at home mom but it seems that it’s hard to make friends with other moms because of the intensive questioning about my children and I. Conversational staters? I just feel differently about it. If I make sense. It doesn’t seem to be natural. Ugh maybe I’m weird. Needed to let this out. It’s the same conversation over and over again and I can’t get passed that stage lol ugh

I’m buying new winter tires which brand would be best suited for my car ? I will also drive a lot on the backroads.

Residential crescent - Street parking. If I exceeded the 3 hour mark- and I moved my car right next to next spot (street parking ) would by law issue me a ticket if I moved it before the 3 hr but my car still remained in the street just a different spot over? Lol just curious 🤣

My Aquarius son his 3 yrs old there’s days where his super social plays with his friends and then there’s days when he needs his alone time playing by himself! Is this a common trait ? ☺️🙂 his also starting to form his opinions on his own :)

My husband and I lived in a basement apartment for over 6-7 yrs. We noticed that our mental health has gotten better. I feel like living in one really took a toll in our mental health! Especially living in Canada where we have long winter days aka gloomy days, and it wasn’t helping I worked night shift too. We recently moved back to my parents and have the entire home for ourselves and wow I’ve never felt good /better. I can actually enjoy the sun… anyone else had the same experience as us?

Driveways/ de-salting/icing. Do you think a business insurance is needed? In case people come after us for slipping etc. charges are by the size of the driveway.
We are planning on making a business card going door to door by our local neighbourhoods. (We live in Canada)

We got him to go to dentist this few times this month for a “fun visit” for his good 1st - 2nd years of his life, he was so scared of dentist and it’s been such a long journey for us to get him to feel safe with his dentist care team and they’ve done amazing on our son and I needed him to be comfortable enough for him in the long run this will only benefit him with his teeth.
So FINALLY. We got him to do X-ray and a cleaning !!! He did great… and he brushes his teeth twice a day and floss.

Still the dentist found 3-4 cavities just the front teeth … the dentist and I mutually agree that he’d need to be put down (general Anesthesia)when he gets his cavities filled in. He is definitely anxious toddler with his teeth/oral care. It’s only for his best interest to avoid trauma from going to his dentist… I feel horrible… as a mom..
I brushed his teeth for him and he started flossing on his own… so it’s not like we neglected the brushing part.

I just feel like …. Really down… as a mom to him… and everything else i wish i can take it all away for him! Sorry guys just feel bad for our toddler…

If you got summoned to court for a jury duty. Would you accept it? Why and why not? What would make you not want to go ? (Ofcourse health-wise, biased ) a very good reason as to why or why not!
I accepted mine, and my coworker at the time said “I don’t want to be responsible for someone else’s life” which made me think hard.

Ontario ONLY- we submitted a written notice to terminate our lease. Can our landlord change his mind after texting us back saying “Please consider this email as formal acceptance of your written notice to terminate the tenancy. Your official move-out date will be confirmed by so -so (I’m not disclosing the dates here )” is that permanently ends the contract by law :) he cannot change it right? I want to make sure. If they claim to submit it to us via text is this it? lol

I’m going to be putting away roughly $3K monthly to save for a ***down payment to use*** for my **first home** my goal is to be able to take it out within 4-5 yrs without getting a huge penalty . Which account is a better option? I do know that FTSA has a max yearly for tax. I’m financially illiterate and is doing a lot of research on savings accounts etc. is there anyone who can summarize these two accounts for me to easily understand it ! There’s also TFSA.

Have any ideas? I’m stay-at home mom and would like to get into a new hobby that won’t cost me a lot of money & I can have fun doing. I can only do at home since I have young toddlers with me at all times :)

We’re relocating for my husband’s work in welland

1. Is it family friendly? How’s community/town with young toddlers when it comes to family activities especially for ages 3-4 yr olds and a 7 yr old.
   How’s the crime rates/drug surroundings is it only in the main downtown ?
   Would you recommend it to a young family to buy their first home and build a good community for us.

Which parts of welland should we focus on ? Which areas are the worst to good.
Access to grocery stores is it easily accessible?

I left the place 2 months ago, lease is up in 1 month.
We don’t have the utilities included in the rent so I opened an account we share it 50/50 electric, hydro water, gas are all under my name.
I still have my things there aka in boxes however my roommate wants to take over my space and “clean” up for them to take over. But I still have to pay the rent for September by legally and the utilities is under my name would you pay for the utilities if roommate tells you to take your things out of the house? And I physically no longer leave there (haven’t been for 2 months) would you wait until your last rent for September to cut it off. What would you do in my situation?
