Why doesn't Autodesk care about aspiring 3D modelers living in low income countries?

Right now most people in poor countries can't afford Maya Autodesk which made the usage of industry 3D softwares like Maya a privilege exclusive to people in developed countries since the average monthly cost of Maya is bigger than the average income of people living in low income countries, and the Maya Indie plan is not available in most low income countries.

the high cost of Maya could lead to the decline of graphics and 3D in low income countries, they have only Blender as their option.

People in low-income and developing countries can't afford legal Maya usage after the switch to subscriptions. High recurring monthly costs made standard licenses unaffordable for local artists and small studios.

This shift pushed many users toward free software like Blender or continued use of unlicensed copies.

Blender monopolized free 3D users in poor countries and Maya Autodesk monopolized professional users in developed countries.

Was Age of Empires the game that introduced you to strategy video games?

Age of Empire is the game franchise that introduced me and millions of players to strategy video games, and I am glad that the franchise is still continuing although the first strategy game I played was browser game but Age of empire is the first non browser video strategy game I played.

I enjoyed Age of Empire more than other strategy games, I enjoyed the civilizations, the characters, and hearing phrases from other languages, my favorite thing about the gameplay is when players are advancing to new ages when it make their kingdom develop.

Although I wished that the game was more realistic, like making players need at least 3 men to build buildings, instead of allowing players to build buildings with one person even if it was a woman, women didn't build buildings and things in previous ages, let alone one woman.

Men should uninstall Spotify because of its sexist and exclusionary “Equal” campaign. The campaign has made 1,400 female singers from around the world appear on billboards in Times Square without promoting even a single male singer.

https://newsroom.spotify.com/2026-03-19/equal-the-podcast-5-year-anniversary/

We should delete our Spotify accounts, uninstall and boycott Spotify because of its Equal campaign, which promotes only female singers and what's worse they launched also a podcast about only female singers to celebrate the campaign marking its fifth year.

Spotify made 1,400 female singers from different world regions appear in Times Square, only females, claiming those female singers face fewer opportunities, less visibility, and unequal access throughout their careers, when in reality many of those featured female singers have a lot of opportunities, visibility and access in their careers, many of those featured singers are already one of the best selling singers in their regions, nearly everyone in the Middle East know those featured Middle Eastern female singers, whoever wrote the article doesn't know anything about Middle Eastern singers.

Female singers dominated pop music for decades, the top 40 pop singers are females, and they are more visible than male singers, if you ask people to name female pop singers, they will say Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, however if you ask people to name a male pop singer who is household name probably they just say Justin Bieber, there are barely any household male singers in pop music under 45 except for Justin Bieber.

And even in the Middle East, the bestselling singers under 50 are female singers.

so it is men who face fewer opportunities, less visibility, and unequal access throughout their careers.

If we don’t boycott this sexist and exclusionary campaign, other companies may follow the same approach, creating campaigns that promote only women from other professions, such as painters, politicians, authors, actresses, dancers, and others.

Spotify made those female singers appear on Times Square and now those foreign women are bragging online about appearing on Time Square even though they appeared on Times Square just because of having female private parts.

There is nothing equal about this campaign it excludes men which is misandristic and didn't promote male singers in female dominated pop music, Feminism is entrenched in the Swedish app Spotify.

Imagine if a music app started a campaign promoting only male singers in female dominated pop music, feminists would lose their minds and accuse the app of misogyny.

after I deleted my Spotify account I typed in the reason box that the reason is because Spotify is discriminating against male singers by promoting only female singers in the Equal campaign.

When men dominated the Grammys in 2018, feminists lost their minds and launched the hashtag #GrammysSoMale. Yet in the 2020s, when female singers dominated the Grammys, no one complained or started a hashtag called #GrammysSoFemale.

Good news in the fight against discrimination against men: U.S. cracks down on women-only programs.

https://news.sbs.co.kr/english/article.do?news_id=N1008695289

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2026/03/31/eeoc-lawsuit-coca-cola-bottler-discrimination/

Imagine if there are only men only programs and retreats for disadvantaged men (Black men, gay men, trans-men, handicapped men, poor white men, men from minority religions and subcultures), feminists would criticize these programs.

Don't justify this by saying women are disadvantaged, there are a millions of disadvantaged men like men from minorities and poor men.

Could the diversification of media as YouTube, Spotify, and TikTok weaken the influence and the popularity of new successful singers?

Hi.

I read that some music videos in the 2000s (which featured women wearing provocative clothing) led to protests by religious people in some Middle Eastern and North African countries which includes my country in front of the channel headquarters. The reason, of course, is that back then there was no YouTube, Spotify, or TikTok or smart on demand TV, so people and families were watching the same thing (music videos on TV and music on radio) so it made these music videos so popular that they caused protests, back then most parents knew who is the favorite singer of their children.

Right now in this decade you will never hear of protests happening because of provocative clothing in music videos because most people now search for music on Youtube or Spotify or Tiktok. Also Youtube algorithm is so aggressive these years, which makes the popularity of music videos and influence of many successful people more limited to your past search history,

by the 2011 most young people who listened to international music in my country knew who was Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Beyonce and Shakira, they were household names Rihanna was 22 at the time.

but now even in 2026 Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Ellish, Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, despite their success they are not really household names in my country if I mention their names in real life people will say who are these?

so the question is could the diversification of media weaken the influence and the popularity of successful new pop stars?

What is the name of this film?

I remember in the mid 2010s I watched an American film.

The protagonist is a white man in late 40s or early 50s

The movie is from the 2000s or the early 2010s

I remember just one scene when he went to a business likely a bar and the employee was insulting trash talking him in foreign language and the employee was surprised when the protagonist understood him and replied to him in the same language.

I forgot the story but a lot of it happened during the night if I am not wrong he was searching for someone.

It's not Tombstone or Taken.

How common is it for Americans to go out during the midnight?

Do Americans in big cities go out during the midnight more than small cities?

I like midnight more than day but my town is small and there are no enough places to go to in night

If I live in a big city in the western world I will go during midnight a lot since sometimes I suffer from insomnia and going out during the night would help me feel better and less upset.

Ae there other spin-offs with a male protagonist of shows or films or animation that were originally about girls?

Looking for shows like these.

Some examples

Angel a spin off of Buffy the vampire slayer.

The Amazing Spiez, a spin-off of Totally Spies, about 3 young brothers who are spies however the boys take their only sister with them in their adventure, unlike the original show it was composed only of teen girls who are friends, I remember my female childhood friend smiling and saying you should watch the spies they brought boys now.

Go, Diego, a spin off of Dora about the adventure of the cousin of Dora.

Corey in the house a spin off of That's So Raven.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, spin off of Wizard of Waverly Place, Justin Russo sister Alex asks for his help with Billie, a young wizard-in-training, Justin returns to the magical world to mentor her while attempting to maintain his ordinary life.

In the second season, after Roman and Milo also become wizards, Justin is tasked with training all three children in preparation for the upcoming family wizard competition.

Women monopolized human rights, I feel lost when I see women's issues coverage overshadowing my cause.

No one feels and understands what it is like to be a mistreated man more than gay men.

Women will never have a childhood as bad as the childhood of gay men.

I live in homophobic country in the mena region

I feel upset and lost when I see there is no a mention of gay rights and campaigns against homophobia in national TV or campaigns against bullying of gays.

While at the same time national TV is filled with coverage of women's issues, campaigns about violence against women and female empowerment programs.

I feel women monopolized human rights in my country

It makes me feel women are always treated better than gay men in the worst countries, women are goddesses and gay men are demons because being gay is seen as against God.

Masculinity is not privilege, it's a shield that protects you from being attacked, mistreated, discriminated against and homophobia.

Real men don't treat women better than men and gays just because they are attracted to women.

Spin-offs with male protagonists of shows that were originally about girls and women.

If girls and women can have female versions of shows like Superman, Hulk, He-man, Batman...etc then men and boys deserve to have male versions of shows about girls and women.
